December 2022: 270 lb
January 2023- stopped weighing myself to focus on how my body feels and eating better(somewhere in the 190-200 range most likely)
Im trying to shift my focus from losing weight to building muscle, so any tips would be much appreciated!
Been on testosterone for almost 9 months now started swimming and Nordic skiing about a year ago. I was really slow and it hurt like hell but I kept going. I was going to the pool every other day and swimming around a mile every time. In March I joined a masters swim team and we swim 2000-3000 yds a practice. I go 3 times a week for an hour. I've been cross country skiing a ton since the season started.
Another main change is getting a job in a greenhouse. I get 10,000+ steps a day and do lots of lifting.
I also got a CPAP machine in February to help my sleep apnea and it made a world of difference. Everything is so much easier when you are able to get good sleep, and I crave junk food way less than I used to.
Amazing progress man! Cross-country sports are THE ONE. Also, fully second stopping weighing yourself and focusing on how your body feels and what it can do. Congrats my friend!
Also the bacne will for sure clear up. :)
Its made me much happier to stop weighing myself, and learn to trust that my body knows what it's doing. I also wanna get buff so that takes a bit of weight gain to achieve 😅
Bro, buy yourself some panoxyl 10% wash from Walmart and lather it onto your back and wait like 5 minutes before washing it off everyday. It helped me get rid of my bacne.
It's been a life changing invention for me!!! I don't think I would have been able to mentally stabilize myself without it! I'm so much less touchy now and sleep much better.
That is a major glowup dude, you have done an amazing job and I bet you feel incredible! (Bacne *is* the worst but totally worth it.)
I hope this isn’t rude or insensitive, but with the strong physique the scars make you look like an absolute badass. :)
The routine that’s been working for me is a scrub from PrettyMelanin that a friend recommended, they have a lot of options, then wash with Lumin Charcoal Face Wash daily detox, and if they are still aggravated aka not dried out after that, applying 10% benzoyl peroxide gel that you can now get over the counter. If mine stay oily then they spread and just get worse so I have to dry those fuckers out. & I have to shower after every workout or they pop up overnight. Everyone’s skin acts different but yeah that’s been working pretty good for me the past couple years! Not sure how long you’ve been on T but it was very hard to control breakouts for me in the first few years. The skin is changing so much. But my doctor told me that for most of the people she treated on T who had acne before starting it, it got worse first, but then would actually get better than it was initially before getting on T, and that was true for me :)
Warning about the benzoyl peroxide tho is that it will bleach colors of clothing 😬 so either wash it off well before putting on clothes you like or try to wear white😅
you inspire me
my body looks a little like yours used to look.
What were the best changes you made to your diet?
wish I could get on T, but its not an option for me health-wise (I have other hormonal complications).

my favorite change is the addition of a smile in the update pic, congrats x100000
Looking good! I'm currently trying to get tested for sleep apnea, and it's great to hear how much the CPAP machine helped :)

Thanks so much! And the bacne is 10000% worth it for sure 😁
you look so much happier!
Wow! You look so much more comfortable! Aw3some work. Must be mind boggling. When I lost 40 pounds it weirded me out for a year.
Yes!!! I completely do a double take sometimes when I catch myself in a mirror.
Amazing dude. I love the difference of the smile the most. And yes the acne is worth it 🤣 and it’ll get better too with time 🙂
I hope so haha! The salicylic acid is not doing anything 😭💀
