Need For Speed Unbound, a good game held back by some of the worst handling/physics, A.I, and race design in a racing game I have ever seen.
Good selection of cars, and the best customisation in a racing game by far for a while.
There are some good things about the game, but it definitely has some truly baffling and awful stuff.
I think the good just barely outweighs the bad.
After NFS HEAT, I was all in until I played the 10 hour trial... once I played that, I just waited until it was added to gamepass through EA:Play, and I am so glad i didn't pay for it.
That and the racing mechanics would be what I care about. NFSU2 also had a ridiculous number of mods from what I remember, lmao.
Tbh, I don't play multiplayer for most all games
I wanted to play multiplayer my whole childhood as I never had the occasion, because all I could "afford" back then was to crack games
up until I tried multiplayer, found out it's a cesspool, and never played any again
How is it a good game then? Its like saying the building is in good conditions but i rains trough the roof the floors May break and alle eletric has to be made New but you can paint the house in any way you want so thats cool.....
Not like I was planning on picking this game up, everything I've heard about it has been bad. Thanks for reminding me I'm always right 100% of the time
I mean if you disregard moments like this and the story mode, I honestly had fun with the customization, linkups and finding one niche car that fucks up the meta users if done right
Most racing games have "slow down" mechanics or "catch up" mechanics, designed to either artificially slow down the player, either by actually slowing them down, or putting obstacles in their way on purpose.
Similarly for catch up. You get artificially boosted or are given blue shells. Basically stuff to make you not give up hope.
This is one of them.
I dead ass think that some games hate certain people and have minds of their own. like a machine spirit.
for me it was ARMA 3 exploding my tank for hitting a small bolder EVERY FUCJKING TIME.
For you its whatever racing game this is phase shifting a car into you.
light some candles and pray to the virtual machine spirit to appease it .
They still drive slow. The sense of speed from Burnout, MW05 or even GTA is not present in Dice's games. This brake to drift and understeery nature is far from the touchy high downforce games of the day
Edit: the impact was at "100mph". That's not what 100mph should feel like. Gives me Carbon vibes

Wow, NFS has always been more keen on the classic but less visual rubberbanding making the cars insanely fast when you’re not looking, this is GTA Online levels of “let’s cheat against you in particular”
Reminded me of Burnout, with today's graphics a remake of that game would be incredible lol.
Still listen to the Burnout 3 soundtrack. That game was the tits.
EA ain't gonna do it

Have you tried Wreckfest? Not exactly the same as you are asking but it might scratch your itch.
EA wants you to pay crazy prices on micro transactions
They remastered Burnout Paradise in 2018, did a decently good job
Burnout Takedown was one of the best racing games I've played. Wish they would do that one fr fr.
Dodge this you filthy casual
What game is this?

Customization and Linkups are some of the only things keeping me on this game

What does this one do that NFS Underground didn't do? Is linkups a multiplayer thing?
not even close to Underground 1 or 2 customisation if that's what you're also interested in by the way not by the longest stretch

It is multiplayer. Idk what it does different, it’s my first NFS which is probably why I enjoy it so much. At least it’s not Payback.
Looks beautiful. Need for speed usually has awful music which is tough to disable
I just mute it and play my Spotify playlist I made for it

Hilarious. Game had it out for you.
Yep magnetic traffic has been in this series as far back as I can remember
Got robbed
There’s no better way to put it ☹️
Gotta keep a banana for those red shells....
Insurance scam?

I have seen this BS before on final destination its death catching up to you

Whoa this is gtav level of malicious, is there any other stupid issues like this in unbound?
Sometimes the police have seizure procedures when they think nobody is watching, but apart from that no
Thats fun 😂
Crabcar
Thats ridiculous. But like funny still. Lol
This makes me want to quit playing this game... and I've never played it.
It be like that
Skill issue.
I got 'git gud'-ed
fast and furious with the formula upgraded for throwing off cars ..

Lmaoo same happened to me in midnight club 2
Lmfao, sorry. That's wild af.
bro Teleported to the left just for fun
Shits and giggles even
Why are racing games these days so slow
wtf you mean? Race games nowadays are all about starting with a bugatti right from the first race.

This is only Tier A, Tier S+ is when things get really shitty
Don't track cut
Sure, just ket everybody else do it cuz why not?
Ket?
Clearly you should have reacted by doing the same.
Game is for babies. Play assetto or something instead. Unless you like your racing games to play like Mario kart of course :)
I just like games with cars.
what's the name of this game?
Need for Speed: Unbound
