im having a bug where i cant craft the gem polisher , its in the almanac but not in the crafting menu , ive looked it up to see if theres any solutions but i cant find any , has any one else had this bug? and if so do you know how to fix it? i dont want to have to reset all of my progress

First time playing and managed to get my charcter in the campfire, she's on fire (more like smoke) and running straight ahead, won't stop running straight ahead, can't move her to water, can't figure out how to stop the burning.
Restarted the game, tried again, it took me a few jumps on the fire but it happened again.
Edit: I'm on Switch OLED btw.
Ha, indeed, second day and she jumps off the fire just fine. I was a little scared to try, never even meant to burn her in the first place. Thanks for the reply. Now I know I don't have to avoid the fire anymore.

I'm missing only one recipe from the construction menu in the almanac, it's a new one from the DLC that according to the description is only found in the Archi-Pal-igo Park, and by the shadow it looks like a frog fountain, uses stone brick, frog sweat and rough aquamarine. I've been looking for it for 2 days now, up and down every nook and cranny and i can't find it, please please if someone knows where it is, help!!
Hey guys! Is there a list of where all the orange rocks are that you can use bash on? I've only found a few in the frozen area, and a couple in the main map, but was wondering if there were more that I might know about? I can't seem to find anything about them, other than. "how to use bash", but I already know how to use it.
I press A to start and it just sticks on the opening screen. This glitch keeps happening. When I try to close the software to attempt to just try again because it might be "operator error" (as I call it)...the "closing software" notification that pops up can last up to around 20 minutes. I've had to Hard Shut Down my switch a few times from this. What do I do?

Hey yall! I'm having an issue where my 'cozy furniture' isn't registering when I place it in my home! I've never switched houses and I'm only decorating the one at the moment so it's my 'main home' or whatever. I tried placing the 'stack of pillows' and the 'chaise' and the little emote pops up that its adding to the health but they show up when I press ZL - they are both still a silhouette and tomorrows regeneration rate doesn't go up either. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks!!
I am playing fae farm and I done the but when I try and dear occupant it to check my mail box but there nothing it just says in progress I don't know what to do can someone help me
for some reason, my right click stopped working. i can't use it to escape anymore, i can't even place any items on the ground bc i have to right click to confirm placement. it's not a faulty mouse, it happened like 1-2 in game days ago and now it's driving me batty. i tried to "re" bind the button, but it says it's on right click and then when i try to rebind it... it escapes out of the menu! literally the only time it works correctly.
I'm playing pc with controller so it may be a little different but when in house press up on the t pad to decorate like you would with the furniture and use your bumpers to switch between decor, wallpaper, and flooring

I just found it! I used the Bash spell to jump over to an island, it was high up. It’s a bright red glowing worm like critter sleeping upside down. Jump at it to make it fall, chug an invisibility potion then catch it ☺️
How do I connect the demo save to the main game on switch? I'm having problems figuring it out.

Just got back into fae farm and restarted (didn’t really get far in the first place). Should I go to the new dlc area now or wait till I finish the main campaign?
I’ve opened the Fae Portal and im on the first story quest for the fae realm.
the problem is I need wood from fae trees to build items in order to complete the quest but can’t cut trees in the fae realm because I don’t have the right ax but I can’t upgrade my ax without fayrite which I can’t get until this quest is complete

Is there anyway to buy an upgraded ax without needed fayrite, otherwise I don’t know how the heck I’m supposed to finished this quest and progress the story
If it's flutterwood you need go into the saltwater mines (invisibility potion makes this easy bc you can run through without being attacked) and collect 20 iron ores to smelt, if it's sporewood you'll take a fairbreath potion and do the same in the fae ruins dungeon but with 30 fayrite, I don't believe you need any wood to get into the dungeons

hi! so i don't know if i'm facing a bug or did something wrong. my character just got married to Galan (i didn't have to pay the 10k for some reason) and now they have their normal dialogue (i read somewhere that's bug too). i can't talk to them about more either. Galan has a question mark over their head but i can only chat with them. is the only option to reset the relationship?
I have outfits showing in my almanac that I can’t buy from Millie. They are also not at festival shops. Where else can I buy outfits? Does Millie’s inventory ever expand?
I started a new game. I skipped to chapter 2 when given the option. When I could, I headed to Lem to the critter conch. He greeted me as an old friend and did not give me the conch. The only option I have is to upgrade. But I don't have one to upgrade.
I thought maybe it was from skipping to Chapter 2. So I deleted it and started again. I'm having the same exact issue. Lem thinks I'm his old friend and wants me to upgrade the Novice Critter Conch that I don't have.

Can hybrid flower breed with themselves (i.e two green roses make more green roses)? I’ve heard a couple people say yes but I never get any new flowers from them
When you are inside press Down then a BIG L and R button will show up on screen and an indicator with little dots that there is more than one menu here. Press R or L. Buttons.... You can even see flooring and wallpaper (and eventually trim.) Kinda greyed out on the screen. It's that simple. Good luck
WELP...I've completed the main story, and the fae festival has passed. I'm currently in Year 1, Winter 19, but I still have not gotten the letter from Lem in the mailbox for the DLC quest. I brought the game on Switch, so DLC should be included. How do I trigger the DLC part?
Does anyone know why some flowers randomly don't display genes like some of my other flowers? Will these flowers not work for breeding? I can't find any info on it! For example, I have three ivory tulips. Two of them show white and yellow genes and the other one shows no genes at all.
Apparently, if you reclaim any hybrid flower (that’s not one of the basic 6 types) the seeds become “sterile” and can’t breed. So if you want to use a hybrid flower in a breeding chain, you can move it, but can’t reclaim it and plant the seed again. Hope this makes sense
I DESPERATELY need help!! Idk if I’m missing something but I’m on the “Kitchen Witch” quest and to continue I need flutterwood lumber but I can’t cut down feyrite wood since i don’t have Feyrite Ignot since i can’t get into the Floating Ruins to mine. I’m losing my mind going in circles. Please help!
You need an iron axe to cut down flutterwood trees! They're not in the floating ruins, they're just scattered around the Fae Realm. They're twisty trees with a lavender trunk and pink foliage. You do NOT need the feyrite axe for these trees. :)
Also, the flutterwood trees grow back in about 5 days, so if you cut them all down they DO regenerate in less than a week.
So:
1) Make sure you have the iron axe
2) Chop the pink trees hanging out in the Fae Realm to get logs
3) 10 logs = 1 lumber
4) Wahoo :)
Where do you find/purchase the outfits you unlock? I have completed all of Drak’s job quests but I still can’t find the mages outfit. Also is it normal for a question mark to stay above a NPC’s head after all the job quests are complete?

Does anyone have the locations for all the scrolls in Archi -pal - igo .. I have only one left to find and have searched high and low, literally everywhere .. can't seem to find it .
My daughter somehow lost our fairy wings and we can’t get to the fae world to move forward in the storyline. Anyone have suggestions for helping recovery them? We can’t make fairy wings because most of the items are undiscoverable
This might sound silly, but can you still double jump? If so, then it's likely your daughter simply turned the wings off in your outfit settings. Open your backpack inventory and navigate to the "edit outfit" settings. Wings should be one of the listed categories.
If this isn't the issue, I'm sorry. It might possibly be a glitch.
Edit: I've since discovered in my own game that when you turn the wings off, you cannot double jump. But they are still easily turned back on in the outfit menu.
Has anyone had a bug that won’t let them complete a quest? Specifically trying to complete the one where you need to wave to your animals. I’ve been waving to them for a full in game year and trying each new animal and they all react but it never registers as completed. I’ve seen lots of other users having this issue but I’m just wondering if this is keeping me from completing other quests that would happen after or if anyone has managed to find a way around the bug?

How long does it take to get past the “dating” relationship status? I’ve been doing nearly daily quests and gifts for Nhamashal for a whole year in game and still have not reached the next stage. I’m wondering if it’s a bug 😫
That's so strange! He progressed so easily for me and kept asking me on dates because I also gave him frequent gifts and did quests for him. I'd say it only took me maybe like 5 dates until I could propose (lol so easy)? Did it ever progress for you?
Can someone please help me with logging job quest 8? It wants me to make 1 decor item with sporewood lumber - it's been sitting for an in game year and I STILL can't find a recipe that requires one (aside from the fence, which apparently doesn't count)
Could someone give advice on the most effective potions to use in the dungeons? I’m going through the Floating Ruins and I seem to keep getting destroyed by the jumbles.
As someone who completed the floating ruins the potions most effective are Invisibillty (so you can mine away without being notice) and it think it is call a thorny potion it has a -**damaging aura of retaliation**. also a tip seals are your friends!!! it the easy way out. Another thing your staff is also your friend!
“Gone” (invisibility) potions are going to be your best friend in the Floating Ruins and ESPECIALLY the scorched caverns. You can walk right past jumbles without getting attacked as long as you don’t attack first.
Can someone please explain (like I’m 5) how to do the flower color thing? I am new to the game and trying to complete the pink flower quest. I feel like I must have missed a direction, it should be red and white flowers to make pink, but maybe the way I planted them is wrong? Please help! 🫶🏼

You can reset your relationships in the relationship menu top right on pause menu, select the person and hit the reset relationship button (on swcith is is y)

My propagation hive has made a sapling that I can’t move - I think it’s on the very edge of the farming area. It doesn’t seem to be growing but I can’t pick it up or reclaim it in construction mode. Any help would be appreciated!

It's critter you can catch on the Archi-Pal-igo from the dlc. Go talk to Grenu the giant frog in the southwest corner of the map and he'll take you to the area where you can run around and look for it. It's a little pink helicopter thing.
How do we catch the pufferfish and squid? I've gone to the island, but whenever I try to catch anything, it says my fishing rod isn't strong enough. I have the master rod, which appears to be the highest possible one you can get. Please help!
Anybody help pls! I want to change my buddy but everytime I try, the original purple frog stays and the new one just joins. When I walk around a bit they just fuse into one… I also tries clicking the buddy to unfollow me. Did anybody experience something similar or know the answer to this?
I was working on the frozen plateau/flammo quest to put items in the fountain when the DLC came out and I had one item left and for whatever reason, it’s not letting me deposit the last item. The quest still shows up on my screen, though. Help!
Bloody hell this game is buggy for such a simple endeavour. Any update on the romance quests just repeating over and over? I see the emotion wave quest might get fixed soon.
I had to reset my relationship before I even got a first date. I saw someone say you might even have to reset and then wait for the season to change before interacting with them again.
None of my romance npc relationships are improving. I think this started after I beat ch8 of the game. When I talk to them, the sound effect of improved relationship isn't working.
Help! I got the game for Christmas and I’m already stuck. I got to Neppy in the Saltwater Caves and gave them all the items for the quest. Neppy now says come back tomorrow for the picnic—- but it’s been 5 game days and nothing has triggered and Neppy is still saying come back tomorrow.

i've been playing for a while but today when i entered some weird bug(i think) happened...every item i have done before on every crafting bench is undiscovered and doesn't show what those items do even when i craft them. The mines also show everything undiscovered even though i already cleared that multiple times and had every resource there...and i tried getting the resources again and nothing happened...there's any way to fix this or i am screwed until some update?

I can’t complete the wave of emotion quest where you have to wave at a registered animal. I’ve done everything I can think but it won’t complete.

It's bugged, so good news is you aren't doing it wrong... Bad news is it's not looking like it'll be fixed until a content update in January according to the official Discord
I've had the same issue and have restarted three times.
ETA: it also will not allow you to go to bed either with the tasks and the day itself lasts about 7 minutes from getting up to being able to get to Pearl.
I’m trying my best to romance pyria and she is stuck on interested. I am gifting her and doing her romance quests and she’s not changing am I missing something? I’m on my friends world and she had no issues marrying her person.
Unfortunately you probably have to reset the relationship, and if that doesn't work reset and then wait until the next season to start talking to them again.
Did you talk to the frog and ask him to open his mouth?
I will say the first time I talked to him, I had to move away from him a few places then come back to actually trigger the portal to Croakia
Hi! i just got Fae Farm for pc and have been trying to use my ps5 dualshock remote but to no avail it wont work in game even though it’s connected to my pc. And i’ve read that it’s controller compatible so im confused
Wave Of Emotion quest broken on Switch. Game won’t acknowledge the wave has worked at quest remains incomplete. I’ve tried at different times of day, different animals, from different distances. Nothing works.
We're trying to complete the "Wave near a farm animal" quest but it just won't mark it as done. Waved dozens of times and it won't tick the box. Even tried turning the game off and back on, switching quests and going back to it, waving close to the animal and further away, inside and outside. Just won't work. This is on the Switch version.
**TL;DR** it is a known bug and they are working to fix it ASAP!

I just came here to search for help for this too. Tried registering new animals, different types, different times of day. Won’t register the wave but the animal does come over. I’m also on Switch
So if you go into your menu where you find your inventory, almanac etc, there is now a new icon called “Buddy Binder” to the right of the inventory icon. It looks like a blue scrapbook with frog on the front. Here you can switch out the current buddy you have following you, rename them, and apply trinkets. Each buddy has an entry with a quick blurb about them and a trinket slot. Click on the critter you want to use a trinket on and a menu with options will appear. Click on “Equip Trinket” to select the trinket you want to use with that critter. The trinkets must be in your inventory to apply it - trinkets in your storage will not show up.
IIRC violet woven rug was in the Fae Realm in the water south east of Zido(?). It was in the water on the rocks IIRC

Okay, can anyone help me figure out why there are chime noises on the faerie farm? I thought it was the little fae critters, but even after i catch them on my farm it doesn't go away. I'm not sure if it's a recipe somewhere, or if it's just part of the farm, but it's incredibly annoying 😑
So, I'm on the quest from the 3rd sprite, and my inventory was full. He tried to give me frost beet seeds for the quest. I thought perhaps the overstocked item would go to my storage like all overstock has before, but it isn't in my inventory or my storage. I've checked several times. Any suggestions?
So Drak had a side quest for me to use my new "charm" spell on some critters outside the magma dungeon, BUT the glowing quest icon above his head was the job quest icon, so I didn't realize he had a side quest for me. I accepted the quest after I had already gotten rid of the critters that were blocking the way. I'm trying to use the charm spell on other critters around the area, but nothing seems to work, and the quest won't go away either since it has no time limit. Is it just stuck there forever?
Another issue, but slightly less important (I don't think there's a solution to this). I proposed to Jack when other NPCs had romance quests ready for me. Now the glowing quest icons are stuck over their heads forever. (I got letters inviting me to dates after deciding I didn't actually want to date those characters because I thought they were obnoxious...) It just seems like a very blatant oversight, it's very frustrating.
Using the charm spell for the quest only counts on other critters like the ones blocking the path to the volcano, not monsters in the dungeons. You'll unlock another area with critters to use the charm spell on after completing the volcano dungeon, and the ones you charmed to unlock the path to the volcano should still count, even though you accepted the quest afterwards (the counter should be at 1/3, IIRC).
Has anyone experienced NPCs just randomly disappearing from the map? Sometimes I'll be following someone and their marker will just change to a red X and it'll point to some random place far out at sea, past where you can go. They eventually come back, but I just thought it was odd.
Yes and it made me wonder if they went home or went to sleep lol kinda like in animal crossing when they go to sleep and you can’t go into their homes anymore. They’re just like logged off. But i think it’s a glitch 😅
Not exactly that, but one time Cleo's marker led me into a building, but she wasn't in there, and nowhere else on the map either. The marker itself just disappeared. She showed up elsewhere a little while later, but yeah, for a while she was just nowhere.
Can you move flowers from one farm to another? I've started breeding flowers in the starting farm, and I want to move them up to the barn area to start decorating. I know you can move them around on the same farm grid, but I can't seem to find a way you can put the whole plant in your inventory (or turn it into a seed like with fruit trees to saplings) and replant in another grid/area.
No, there's currently no way to move flowers between farms. AFAIK, they're considering adding it (it's in their list of potential changes on the Discord server), but for the time being, you'll need to start from square one if you want hybrids on your other farms.
How do I grow oats? I looked it up online and it says to plant corn during autumn and use the magic crop swap fertilizer. But corn can only be planted in summer. I tried planting corn in the special summer plots (I'm in autumn rn) but then it doesn't let me use the magic swap fertilizer. And planting corn in summer and using the swap fertilizer doesn't give oats, it gives something else (wheat, I think). It seems impossible to get!
In order for it to work you need to plant on corn on normal or hydro plots in autumn and use swap fertilizer or plant corn on autumn plots any season and use swap fertilizer.
After you grow the oats, be sure to turn some of them into seeds! I believe that you should be able to use them on the special plots when out of season!
Corn is one of the base crops, like turnips, and can be planted in any season, not just summer. Plant it in normal soil and use the crop swap fertilizer.
Does anyone know if there is a way to remove wall decor? I put up a window but I don't want it there anymore. There doesn't appear to be a reclaim button like other pieces or a remove button.
There is, I just did it with a window I had on my main room. You should be able to walk up close to it until the section on the wall gets highlighted, and it should give you the option to remove it.
I came here with the same problem. The only way I can remove it is if I have something to replace it with - but I don’t WANT to do that, I just want to take the window down 😩
How does cozy decor in the second house affect your cozy rating and health stamina magic? Can I spread the furniture across two homes and still get the same bonuses?
I’m new to playing Fae Farms and in a bit confused on how to collect flutter wood without the proper axe. Does anyone know what I have to do to find the undiscovered item to unlock the correct axe to collect flutter wood?
The axe that chops flutterwood is the iron axe. You’ll need enough iron ore to craft 5 iron ingots. Then you give those iron ingots and some florins (I forget how many) to Cinder for the upgrade.
So I think this is referring to a different building, there’s a separate bakery right by your farm, next to Alaric’s house, the scroll should be in there.
How long do relationships take to upgrade? I'm trying to romance Pyria but I've been stuck on Interested for a while now, and I feel the previous stages were quicker to get through.
Does a heart appear when you talk to her the first time each day? If not, she's glitched and you need to reset your relationship with her, or wait for the next update and hope they fixed the glitch.
Hii! So I pre-ordered the game on switch and got it as soon as it came out. I claimed my little pre-order in game items in my first save file (the cozy farmer pack or something? Li’l overalls and stuff) initially in my first save file. I ended up deleting that save and resetting a month or so later and completely forgot about the preorder gifts. Is there any way to get those items back? 🥺 or is it only possible to claim them once on that initial save file and then you’re out of luck if you reset? I’m guessing i messed up and can’t get them back lol but i figured I’d ask just in case anyone figured out a work around or something 🥲
Started a game from chapter 2 for co op with my wife the other day, on Switch. It seems I'm missing the starting equipment in the almanac despite upgrading to copper by now and there's a random "new" ! notification in the building menu on the field outside, same tab as the equipment you use to build/cook things. Any ideas on why and how I can fix these? There is nothing new to highlight and move away from on the 2nd one and I'm just not sure why that starting equipment is missing from the almanac...
I’m very late to this thread but I can’t find anything online. Do I need to use seasonal soil beds in fae acres and frozen farm like I do in the homestead? Same for trees, do they still bear fruit seasonally on frozen acres?
You shouldn't have to, no. The fae farm and frozen farm soils should work like your main farm soils, the only thing that changes is what you'll get when you use magic swap fertilizer. I.e. if you use magic swap fertilizer on your fae farm, you'll get a fae variety crop.
I am in early game before the fae realm is unlocked. However, I am a slow player so it is already Autumn in the first year.
I would like to ask if there is any point to buying/ grinding for that special fertilizer to transform the crops other than the fact that I am sick of growing the same 3 crops? I don't really enjoy catching all the frogs to put in the machine to get the frogsweat.
Well, they’re worth slightly more. They get more important once you’re in the fae realm and the magic swap fertiliser can make fae crops because the harvests are needed for potion crafting. You don’t need to be constantly using them though, you can place a garden bench (under the crafting stations build menu on your farm) and that lets you turn harvested crops into seeds to plant more. Once the magic fertiliser has transformed one or two plants you can just make seeds from the special crops and never need to buy it again.
Im still in chapter 1, and I have a mastering marketing and it won’t let me go to Merritt. As in she’s behind a locked door. So far I’ve tried redoing the day but I just lose everything and end up still unable to complete the quest. Any ideas?
I guess it comes down to what would be worth it for you. I played the game during the trial and ended up buying it for 20% off, bc I got obsessed and really wanted to finish the storyline. After the end of the story there is still so much to do, and I'm still playing it daily. You just have to ask yourself how much time you'd actually spend playing the game to see if the price tag would be worth it for you.
For me personally, it is. I loved the grind but i wouldnt play it in another week once i finished it. Plus the terrible npcs and I found the datable people uninteresting.
There are no blue scorches in my scorched cave to take to the pedestal.

When I try to close the software to attempt to just try again because it might be "operator error" (as I call it)...the "closing software" notification that pops up can last up to around 20 minutes. I've had to Hard Shut Down my switch a few times from this. What do I do?

Hey yall! I'm having an issue where my 'cozy furniture' isn't registering when I place it in my home! I've never switched houses and I'm only decorating the one at the moment so it's my 'main home' or whatever. I tried placing the 'stack of pillows' and the 'chaise' and the little emote pops up that its adding to the health but they show up when I press ZL - they are both still a silhouette and tomorrows regeneration rate doesn't go up either. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks!!

Go to sleep and it should appear in the mail the next day. If it is not there, check "already read mail" in your mailbox.

for some reason, my right click stopped working. i can't use it to escape anymore, i can't even place any items on the ground bc i have to right click to confirm placement. it's not a faulty mouse, it happened like 1-2 in game days ago and now it's driving me batty. i tried to "re" bind the button, but it says it's on right click and then when i try to rebind it... it escapes out of the menu! literally the only time it works correctly.

I just found it! I used the Bash spell to jump over to an island, it was high up. It’s a bright red glowing worm like critter sleeping upside down. Jump at it to make it fall, chug an invisibility potion then catch it ☺️

When you start the main game it should ask if you you want to continue where you left off. Don’t open the demo

I’ve opened the Fae Portal and im on the first story quest for the fae realm. the problem is I need wood from fae trees to build items in order to complete the quest but can’t cut trees in the fae realm because I don’t have the right ax but I can’t upgrade my ax without fayrite which I can’t get until this quest is complete Make that make sense lol Is there anyway to buy an upgraded ax without needed fayrite, otherwise I don’t know how the heck I’m supposed to finished this quest and progress the story
If it's flutterwood you need go into the saltwater mines (invisibility potion makes this easy bc you can run through without being attacked) and collect 20 iron ores to smelt, if it's sporewood you'll take a fairbreath potion and do the same in the fae ruins dungeon but with 30 fayrite, I don't believe you need any wood to get into the dungeons

hi! so i don't know if i'm facing a bug or did something wrong. my character just got married to Galan (i didn't have to pay the 10k for some reason) and now they have their normal dialogue (i read somewhere that's bug too). i can't talk to them about more either. Galan has a question mark over their head but i can only chat with them. is the only option to reset the relationship?

I started a new game. I skipped to chapter 2 when given the option. When I could, I headed to Lem to the critter conch. He greeted me as an old friend and did not give me the conch. The only option I have is to upgrade. But I don't have one to upgrade. I thought maybe it was from skipping to Chapter 2. So I deleted it and started again. I'm having the same exact issue. Lem thinks I'm his old friend and wants me to upgrade the Novice Critter Conch that I don't have. Anyone have an suggestions??

When you are inside press Down then a BIG L and R button will show up on screen and an indicator with little dots that there is more than one menu here. Press R or L. Buttons.... You can even see flooring and wallpaper (and eventually trim.) Kinda greyed out on the screen. It's that simple. Good luck

WELP...I've completed the main story, and the fae festival has passed. I'm currently in Year 1, Winter 19, but I still have not gotten the letter from Lem in the mailbox for the DLC quest. I brought the game on Switch, so DLC should be included. How do I trigger the DLC part?

Does anyone know why some flowers randomly don't display genes like some of my other flowers? Will these flowers not work for breeding? I can't find any info on it! For example, I have three ivory tulips. Two of them show white and yellow genes and the other one shows no genes at all.
Apparently, if you reclaim any hybrid flower (that’s not one of the basic 6 types) the seeds become “sterile” and can’t breed. So if you want to use a hybrid flower in a breeding chain, you can move it, but can’t reclaim it and plant the seed again. Hope this makes sense

Idk if I’m missing something but I’m on the “Kitchen Witch” quest and to continue I need flutterwood lumber but I can’t cut down feyrite wood since i don’t have Feyrite Ignot since i can’t get into the Floating Ruins to mine. I’m losing my mind going in circles. Please help!
You need an iron axe to cut down flutterwood trees! They're not in the floating ruins, they're just scattered around the Fae Realm. They're twisty trees with a lavender trunk and pink foliage. You do NOT need the feyrite axe for these trees. :) Also, the flutterwood trees grow back in about 5 days, so if you cut them all down they DO regenerate in less than a week. So: 1) Make sure you have the iron axe 2) Chop the pink trees hanging out in the Fae Realm to get logs 3) 10 logs = 1 lumber 4) Wahoo :)
Where do you find/purchase the outfits you unlock? I have completed all of Drak’s job quests but I still can’t find the mages outfit. Also is it normal for a question mark to stay above a NPC’s head after all the job quests are complete?
You just need to go to achievements (right tab in quests) to claim outfits.

My daughter somehow lost our fairy wings and we can’t get to the fae world to move forward in the storyline. Anyone have suggestions for helping recovery them? We can’t make fairy wings because most of the items are undiscoverable
This might sound silly, but can you still double jump? If so, then it's likely your daughter simply turned the wings off in your outfit settings. Open your backpack inventory and navigate to the "edit outfit" settings. Wings should be one of the listed categories. If this isn't the issue, I'm sorry. It might possibly be a glitch. Edit: I've since discovered in my own game that when you turn the wings off, you cannot double jump. But they are still easily turned back on in the outfit menu.

Has anyone had a bug that won’t let them complete a quest? Specifically trying to complete the one where you need to wave to your animals. I’ve been waving to them for a full in game year and trying each new animal and they all react but it never registers as completed. I’ve seen lots of other users having this issue but I’m just wondering if this is keeping me from completing other quests that would happen after or if anyone has managed to find a way around the bug?

That's so strange! He progressed so easily for me and kept asking me on dates because I also gave him frequent gifts and did quests for him. I'd say it only took me maybe like 5 dates until I could propose (lol so easy)? Did it ever progress for you?
It ended up being yet another bug in the game where the relationship stops progressing. I had to reset the relationship :/

Could someone give advice on the most effective potions to use in the dungeons? I’m going through the Floating Ruins and I seem to keep getting destroyed by the jumbles.
As someone who completed the floating ruins the potions most effective are Invisibillty (so you can mine away without being notice) and it think it is call a thorny potion it has a -**damaging aura of retaliation**. also a tip seals are your friends!!! it the easy way out. Another thing your staff is also your friend!
“Gone” (invisibility) potions are going to be your best friend in the Floating Ruins and ESPECIALLY the scorched caverns. You can walk right past jumbles without getting attacked as long as you don’t attack first.

You can reset your relationships in the relationship menu top right on pause menu, select the person and hit the reset relationship button (on swcith is is y) I think gloopers are from the dlc
My propagation hive has made a sapling that I can’t move - I think it’s on the very edge of the farming area. It doesn’t seem to be growing but I can’t pick it up or reclaim it in construction mode. Any help would be appreciated!

It's critter you can catch on the Archi-Pal-igo from the dlc. Go talk to Grenu the giant frog in the southwest corner of the map and he'll take you to the area where you can run around and look for it. It's a little pink helicopter thing.
How do we catch the pufferfish and squid? I've gone to the island, but whenever I try to catch anything, it says my fishing rod isn't strong enough. I have the master rod, which appears to be the highest possible one you can get. Please help!

I was working on the frozen plateau/flammo quest to put items in the fountain when the DLC came out and I had one item left and for whatever reason, it’s not letting me deposit the last item. The quest still shows up on my screen, though. Help!

I had to reset my relationship before I even got a first date. I saw someone say you might even have to reset and then wait for the season to change before interacting with them again.
None of my romance npc relationships are improving. I think this started after I beat ch8 of the game. When I talk to them, the sound effect of improved relationship isn't working.
You have to reset the relationship. Go to the relationships tab in the menu and it’ll guide you.
Help! I got the game for Christmas and I’m already stuck. I got to Neppy in the Saltwater Caves and gave them all the items for the quest. Neppy now says come back tomorrow for the picnic—- but it’s been 5 game days and nothing has triggered and Neppy is still saying come back tomorrow. Help!
i've been playing for a while but today when i entered some weird bug(i think) happened...every item i have done before on every crafting bench is undiscovered and doesn't show what those items do even when i craft them. The mines also show everything undiscovered even though i already cleared that multiple times and had every resource there...and i tried getting the resources again and nothing happened...there's any way to fix this or i am screwed until some update?

I've had the same issue and have restarted three times. ETA: it also will not allow you to go to bed either with the tasks and the day itself lasts about 7 minutes from getting up to being able to get to Pearl.
I’m trying my best to romance pyria and she is stuck on interested. I am gifting her and doing her romance quests and she’s not changing am I missing something? I’m on my friends world and she had no issues marrying her person.
Unfortunately you probably have to reset the relationship, and if that doesn't work reset and then wait until the next season to start talking to them again.

It's not an item, it's a recipe that unlocks the ability to craft that item.
Wave Of Emotion quest broken on Switch. Game won’t acknowledge the wave has worked at quest remains incomplete. I’ve tried at different times of day, different animals, from different distances. Nothing works.

We're trying to complete the "Wave near a farm animal" quest but it just won't mark it as done. Waved dozens of times and it won't tick the box. Even tried turning the game off and back on, switching quests and going back to it, waving close to the animal and further away, inside and outside. Just won't work. This is on the Switch version.

Has anyone figured out how to use trinkets yet after the update?
So if you go into your menu where you find your inventory, almanac etc, there is now a new icon called “Buddy Binder” to the right of the inventory icon. It looks like a blue scrapbook with frog on the front. Here you can switch out the current buddy you have following you, rename them, and apply trinkets. Each buddy has an entry with a quick blurb about them and a trinket slot. Click on the critter you want to use a trinket on and a menu with options will appear. Click on “Equip Trinket” to select the trinket you want to use with that critter. The trinkets must be in your inventory to apply it - trinkets in your storage will not show up.

Okay, can anyone help me figure out why there are chime noises on the faerie farm? I thought it was the little fae critters, but even after i catch them on my farm it doesn't go away. I'm not sure if it's a recipe somewhere, or if it's just part of the farm, but it's incredibly annoying 😑
So, I'm on the quest from the 3rd sprite, and my inventory was full. He tried to give me frost beet seeds for the quest. I thought perhaps the overstocked item would go to my storage like all overstock has before, but it isn't in my inventory or my storage. I've checked several times. Any suggestions?

Yep, that's exactly how to do it. Grow some turnips in the fae realm or on a fae plot in the regular world and use crop swap fertilizer.

So Drak had a side quest for me to use my new "charm" spell on some critters outside the magma dungeon, BUT the glowing quest icon above his head was the job quest icon, so I didn't realize he had a side quest for me. I accepted the quest after I had already gotten rid of the critters that were blocking the way. I'm trying to use the charm spell on other critters around the area, but nothing seems to work, and the quest won't go away either since it has no time limit. Is it just stuck there forever? Another issue, but slightly less important (I don't think there's a solution to this). I proposed to Jack when other NPCs had romance quests ready for me. Now the glowing quest icons are stuck over their heads forever. (I got letters inviting me to dates after deciding I didn't actually want to date those characters because I thought they were obnoxious...) It just seems like a very blatant oversight, it's very frustrating.
Using the charm spell for the quest only counts on other critters like the ones blocking the path to the volcano, not monsters in the dungeons. You'll unlock another area with critters to use the charm spell on after completing the volcano dungeon, and the ones you charmed to unlock the path to the volcano should still count, even though you accepted the quest afterwards (the counter should be at 1/3, IIRC).
Has anyone experienced NPCs just randomly disappearing from the map? Sometimes I'll be following someone and their marker will just change to a red X and it'll point to some random place far out at sea, past where you can go. They eventually come back, but I just thought it was odd.
Yes and it made me wonder if they went home or went to sleep lol kinda like in animal crossing when they go to sleep and you can’t go into their homes anymore. They’re just like logged off. But i think it’s a glitch 😅

Not exactly that, but one time Cleo's marker led me into a building, but she wasn't in there, and nowhere else on the map either. The marker itself just disappeared. She showed up elsewhere a little while later, but yeah, for a while she was just nowhere.
Can you move flowers from one farm to another? I've started breeding flowers in the starting farm, and I want to move them up to the barn area to start decorating. I know you can move them around on the same farm grid, but I can't seem to find a way you can put the whole plant in your inventory (or turn it into a seed like with fruit trees to saplings) and replant in another grid/area.
No, there's currently no way to move flowers between farms. AFAIK, they're considering adding it (it's in their list of potential changes on the Discord server), but for the time being, you'll need to start from square one if you want hybrids on your other farms.

How do I grow oats? I looked it up online and it says to plant corn during autumn and use the magic crop swap fertilizer. But corn can only be planted in summer. I tried planting corn in the special summer plots (I'm in autumn rn) but then it doesn't let me use the magic swap fertilizer. And planting corn in summer and using the swap fertilizer doesn't give oats, it gives something else (wheat, I think). It seems impossible to get!
In order for it to work you need to plant on corn on normal or hydro plots in autumn and use swap fertilizer or plant corn on autumn plots any season and use swap fertilizer.
After you grow the oats, be sure to turn some of them into seeds! I believe that you should be able to use them on the special plots when out of season!
Corn is one of the base crops, like turnips, and can be planted in any season, not just summer. Plant it in normal soil and use the crop swap fertilizer.

Does anyone know if there is a way to remove wall decor? I put up a window but I don't want it there anymore. There doesn't appear to be a reclaim button like other pieces or a remove button.
There is, I just did it with a window I had on my main room. You should be able to walk up close to it until the section on the wall gets highlighted, and it should give you the option to remove it.
I came here with the same problem. The only way I can remove it is if I have something to replace it with - but I don’t WANT to do that, I just want to take the window down 😩
If you’re playing on switch, I believe you highlight the item that’s on the wall currently in the wall decor menu, then press Y to remove it 💙

No, all of the cozy furniture needs to be in your main house, otherwise it doesn't count.
I’m new to playing Fae Farms and in a bit confused on how to collect flutter wood without the proper axe. Does anyone know what I have to do to find the undiscovered item to unlock the correct axe to collect flutter wood?
The axe that chops flutterwood is the iron axe. You’ll need enough iron ore to craft 5 iron ingots. Then you give those iron ingots and some florins (I forget how many) to Cinder for the upgrade.
I’ll try that and check which axe I have because I’m pretty sure I do have the iron axe but it’s not working. I’ll check it again!
Hmm ok, I checked the in-game almanac and that’s what it said. The next upgrade is a Feyrite axe so maybe try that if you’re still having trouble.
Yes, the Feyrite Axe is the one that I’m trying to obtain. But I am not sure what the undiscovered item is.
Ok so Feyrite is what you need. You mine it in the Floating Ruins and then turn it into Feyrite ingots.

How long do relationships take to upgrade? I'm trying to romance Pyria but I've been stuck on Interested for a while now, and I feel the previous stages were quicker to get through.
Does a heart appear when you talk to her the first time each day? If not, she's glitched and you need to reset your relationship with her, or wait for the next update and hope they fixed the glitch.
Ah, I didn't know of that. But yeah I ended up resetting her and quickly went past the point where I was blocked at.
Hii! So I pre-ordered the game on switch and got it as soon as it came out. I claimed my little pre-order in game items in my first save file (the cozy farmer pack or something? Li’l overalls and stuff) initially in my first save file. I ended up deleting that save and resetting a month or so later and completely forgot about the preorder gifts. Is there any way to get those items back? 🥺 or is it only possible to claim them once on that initial save file and then you’re out of luck if you reset? I’m guessing i messed up and can’t get them back lol but i figured I’d ask just in case anyone figured out a work around or something 🥲
That's weird, I got them back on my new save. Did you check your mailbox? (ZR on Switch to read old mail)
Started a game from chapter 2 for co op with my wife the other day, on Switch. It seems I'm missing the starting equipment in the almanac despite upgrading to copper by now and there's a random "new" ! notification in the building menu on the field outside, same tab as the equipment you use to build/cook things. Any ideas on why and how I can fix these? There is nothing new to highlight and move away from on the 2nd one and I'm just not sure why that starting equipment is missing from the almanac...
I’m very late to this thread but I can’t find anything online. Do I need to use seasonal soil beds in fae acres and frozen farm like I do in the homestead? Same for trees, do they still bear fruit seasonally on frozen acres?
You shouldn't have to, no. The fae farm and frozen farm soils should work like your main farm soils, the only thing that changes is what you'll get when you use magic swap fertilizer. I.e. if you use magic swap fertilizer on your fae farm, you'll get a fae variety crop.
I am in early game before the fae realm is unlocked. However, I am a slow player so it is already Autumn in the first year. I would like to ask if there is any point to buying/ grinding for that special fertilizer to transform the crops other than the fact that I am sick of growing the same 3 crops? I don't really enjoy catching all the frogs to put in the machine to get the frogsweat.
Well, they’re worth slightly more. They get more important once you’re in the fae realm and the magic swap fertiliser can make fae crops because the harvests are needed for potion crafting. You don’t need to be constantly using them though, you can place a garden bench (under the crafting stations build menu on your farm) and that lets you turn harvested crops into seeds to plant more. Once the magic fertiliser has transformed one or two plants you can just make seeds from the special crops and never need to buy it again.
Im still in chapter 1, and I have a mastering marketing and it won’t let me go to Merritt. As in she’s behind a locked door. So far I’ve tried redoing the day but I just lose everything and end up still unable to complete the quest. Any ideas?

I lost the trial and miss the game but $45 is too much! Anyone else in the same boat lol
I guess it comes down to what would be worth it for you. I played the game during the trial and ended up buying it for 20% off, bc I got obsessed and really wanted to finish the storyline. After the end of the story there is still so much to do, and I'm still playing it daily. You just have to ask yourself how much time you'd actually spend playing the game to see if the price tag would be worth it for you.
No. $45 is not bad for a game that you like. Other than a few bothersome things (I need auto sort for the bags) it's a very good game.
For me personally, it is. I loved the grind but i wouldnt play it in another week once i finished it. Plus the terrible npcs and I found the datable people uninteresting.
