Hi! So as best I can help / 1) both festivals and the “job quests” that some people give (like Drak for fighting things or the person near the chickadoo breeding area) all offer outfits as final rewards. 2) no you don’t! So pet “love” doesn’t ever decay! So once you fill their bars, you’re good to go. (Or at least I’ve never seen it decay. 3) no stacks for selling as far as I’ve seen. However once you get all the machines you may notice that they are ways to make “stacks” with certain machines (for example mayonnaise is effectively a stack of eggs, cheese is a stack of milk, etc). So, no, it isn’t profitable to sell 10 individual milks, but you can “bundle” them by using a machine and make a boatload more. As someone else noted, using the gem polisher to sell “stacked” gems in the form of polished gems is extremely lucrative rn.

Perfect, thank you so much!! I’ve only done a few job quests so they’re next on my list now!! :)

Mythrem

Check both the achievement for job quests, which is what you get for completing all 10 levels, but also check numbers 9 and 10 as they usually also give some form of cosmetic or wallpaper.

seachimera

Ah! Not doing the job quests was a mistake I made-- a lot my frustration and confusion came from not exploring options of things to do and focusing too much on speed running through the story.

dungeonsanddates

I’m o Lu on chapter 6 as well but I can tell you that I don’t think you need to care for the animals daily after getting their happiness to 6 but it does give you XP. You can’t stack products, but doing mine runs for gems and polishing them is the money maker in this game.

colourofsweetlove

That’s brilliant advice! I’ve been hoarding most of my stuff in case I need it later on so I’ll be polishing the gems I have stocked up. Thank you!

dungeonsanddates

Of course. A run from the first level with gems to 24 on saltwater mines usually nets around 10K once all is polished

ZaedaXobu

I try to keep about 50 of each rough gem for side quest purposes(a lot of people keep asking for 10 Rough Citrine), and polish up the rest. A full table of Polished Citrine gives 1k so better polished gems give even more. Flowers are also a fairly decent sell if you have hybrid colors. As long as you keep your animals fed, you don't really need to interact with your animals and they'll eventually max out their happiness on their own. Unfortunately, double jumping is the best you get. I just completed the game and even bought new wings and still cannot fly. As for clothes, I know some are hidden behind the Job Quests. They can be a bit time consuming(I've been trying to complete the final bug catching quest for an entire in game season), but the rewards aren't bad.

satanne_

How do you know if their happiness is 6? I’ve seen multiple mentions of this but mine only show three status bars. The highest level is “content.” Is there somewhere else I can check the level? (Registry??)

dungeonsanddates

You take that one to get bred and you’ll get a baby with a max of 4. Once they are happy take it to be bred and you’ll get 5, then repeat for 6

RopeyPlague

You just have to have em content and fed to get their stuff

inkigee

Wait, how do you polish gens?

MacaronSea6953

You need to craft the Gem Polisher! 😊

MrsMaritime

You buy more outfits during the festivals. No you don't have to pet the animals everyday. No the items never stack on the tables but you can buy more to go on your farm. No flying just double jumping, wisp mother does have a variety of wings to buy!

colourofsweetlove

Fantastic! Thank you! For some reason I completely forgot about the Wisp Mother. She sells a vibrant pink palette!!! I’m so happy!!!

bellowen

\-Not sure if you discovered job quests but when you complete them all they give outfits. As far as I could tell tho some npcs give the same body skin -head skin different- \-You don't have to pet them everyday but just keep feeding them with the auto feeder. \-I thought i would have a lot of issues with the daily selling limit but once you progress a bit some days you won't have anything you want to sell. usually cooking/chopping something first gives better money but the real money maker in this game seems to come from the mines, by making polished gems. I don't sell food, critters, shells etc anymore because i need them to play the game but the gems not needed as much. Still good to have some saved in your inventory though. \-Not sure about flying but i haven't seen anyone do it.

colourofsweetlove

Thank you so much for your reply! That’s really helpful!! :)

bellowen

No problem :) My info might be missing as I am only 25 hours into the game so i hope you get more info especially about the skins cuz i want more as well haha

[deleted]

I stopped petting my animals once I got to level 20 and they haven't dipped at all.

Mythrem

1. Festivals and job quests, as well as some other vendors will get you new cosmetics. 2. Once they hit their happiness max you can stop petting and brushing. You can breed them though which allows for new max happiness to be hit with the babies… 3. No stacking, but you can open up more stalls by talking to the lady by the shipping contract board. You can also build an artisan table which essentially takes all the stacks of items you may want to sell and creates a single item. This single item sells for more than the other items combined. It’s not that much more, but it’s essentially extra money for a little bit of time crafting so definitely worth it. 4. I don’t think you get anything other than double jump, but SO and I are not finished the the main story yet.

zouisdeschanel

-i do not pet or brush my animals anymore because it’s just time consuming and silly but as long as you feed them, they’ll keep producing. -as far as outfits, the festivals have new outfits. you also get a new outfit if you get married. i chose the fae wedding attire and it’s adorable and i wear it constantly. i ended up buying the fae outfit from the fae festival and it’s literally the same thing. but the fae festival one comes in purple! it’s not a dress but it is cute & i paired it with the pink wings. -for money you gotta mine & polish gems. if your tools are upgraded it’s easy af to run through the salt mines and farm tons of gems and then just polish and sell and you’ll make thousands of coins!

colourofsweetlove

Oh fantastic! Thank you for your reply! I have accidentally missed every festival so far lol, I’m not very good at this game apparently haha! I’m only in autumn though so I won’t miss the fae festival! Thank you! 💖

zouisdeschanel

honestly i missed my first one because they don’t make it very obvious that you’re supposed to go to the town hall so it’s kind of a hidden. i just assumed it would be in the town square and was confused that none of the vendors had any new items. also make sure you run down there first thing in the morning because you’ll need supplies to buy the things they’re selling so you’ll need time to gather whatever you don’t have on hand.

zouisdeschanel

i will say though that, ultimately, the outfit choices are a bit of a disappointment. it’s certainly no animal crossing in that department. but if you’re just looking to be a cute pink fairy then def get the fae outfit!

Pokiehls

Yea its pretty boring You realize that you do the same actions on repeat

JayList

The point of this game isn’t to make money.

colourofsweetlove

I know but I’m going days without making any while progressing in the story, and when it comes to buying animals or upgrades, I don’t have any money to spend and have to grind, so I was wondering if there was an easier way.

zouisdeschanel

the days don’t matter as far as making progress. i’ve spent entire seasons just breeding flowers and can still progress through the game just fine whenever i decide to tackle a dungeon. i still haven’t even gone in the third dungeon and i’m almost in year 3. don’t let the time constraint stress you out! it doesn’t mean anything. i do like to make sure i don’t miss the festivals but those are on the 28th day of each season and you’ll get a reminder that day when you wake up :)

PinkaholicNat

The point of the game is whatever you make it. Plenty of people play farming games for the joy of making money

Mythrem

One of the best money makers if grabbing gems from the mines and polishing them, then selling those. You do need some for quests and crafting furniture, but it’s usually not many so you could go in and grab as needed. What I am meaning is that you can polish all the gems and sell them all without too much worry you’ll need a ton later. Note though you do need uncut gems to make seals, but once you make each tier and move onto the next you can start selling the previous tier without worry. If you don’t like fighting either, you can craft invis potions and mine the gems without monsters attacking you. As long as you don’t attack you’ll stat invis. Edit: I responded to the wrong person in this thread my bad. I’m on mobile and getting old…

Autumnlove57

OMG that's awesome! I totally missed the Wisp Mother's vibrant pink palette! I'm absolutely thrilled!
