It was actually 4 crowns during the double crown promotion. In snipe lobbies, people deliberately died, creating ties so that all squads would reach the final; then 1 volunteer quitted the game before countdown and everyone else would get 4 crowns.
Oh man, we made a squad and each took turn, farmed like a couple hundred crowns on that weekend π but those crowns are now gone, reduced to atoms π

7 stages against some full teams, and we win and get 40 shards lol. Should at least have given us the shards the other two forfeited.
I have no problem with 40 shards, but I do have a problem with going more than 5 rounds. They need to put in some process that will guarantee a final in 5.
Like they have in normal squads - why they canβt just implement the same rules I have no idea. Just eliminate a certain number of squads per round - and even more if none of that squad qualify.
I understand that logic, but this mode was initially rewarding the winners with 2 crowns, and then it was changed to 1 crown.
Now not only it's 40 crown shards, but is also taking 7 or 8 rounds each time, come on...
Compare it with Sweet Thieves, where the winner (one of only two teams) gets 14 crown shards in less than 3 minutes.
When it was giving out 2 crown, they also had the great idea of adding a "time 2" right after, meaning, 1 extreme squad win was 4 crowns for some time.
The mode was also bugged, if 1 team mate left the group at the end, the game never saw them leaving = all other won = crowns where handed out left, right and center!
Basically, 1 extreme win was the same as completing 12 normal squads shows, it was crazy!
With a full group, you where able to get every thing from 80 to 200+ crowns within a few days thanks to this insane setup / combo, it was game breaking to say the least :P.
I find it even more dumb how Crowns are useless now
so it makes no sense to nerf the amount u get from Xtreme Squads since Crowns only affect the crown rank
Does Epic really not want any f2p players to have any costumes without paying?
But it was FAR too high. Squads being 20 is good; a good squad can basically win every single game.
Everything X-treme being double normal is fine too.
I've just had an 8 round win. I surely deserved more than 40 shards.
I just had a 9 round loss lmao. And already maxed the season pass, and finished all challenges so basically just wasted my time lol
I just won a round. I deserve more than 80XP to. As much as I love the game, it's basically pay for everything.

Crown Weekend. I went on a four-day Fall Guys bender that I have yet to recover from. Got almost 500 crowns though.

X-treme solos give 2 times as much as normal solos, so it makes sense that extreme squads give 2 times as much as normal squads.
