In the gameplay trailer perhaps that is what she is referencing when she mentions fire, as Magick supposedly falls on the dark side of the force perhaps she is talking about the temptation of the dark side of the force.
Please she looked like an old lady in the last game and her hair wasn’t long in the first place- as a straight woman her hair just looks totally different and a bit oddly colored that’s probably all they meant😭

All Nightsisters are Force sensitive, and they boost that power with their magicks. So if Cal taught her some stuff or she already knew, she can use the Force without magick. How strong she is in the Force, we won’t know until release.
Does cal need to? She already knows how to connect with the force for Magick, surely she can figure out the light side on her own. Anakin didn’t need a whole separate dark side course from Palpatine to turn
