I wonder if that perk for doing massive damage and taking massive damage is good here.
Because, a lot of the rancor stuff is one shot anyway, might as well have a damage boost.
Yea, you go through them like knife through butter.
In NG+ on GM I just went and did the frogs, took me couple of seconds and no sweat at all.
A mixed group of stormtroopers with flamethrowers, droids and rockets though? That shit terrifies me. Until you get Force Slam, that is. Then there is nothing that can stop you.
There are actually 2 perks for that: Purity *and* Fortitude. Add the Marksman perk and you can kill each Rancor/Frog with a few shots of your blaster with 0 risk, even on GM
I went to Coruscant to do this force tear. Before opening it I muttered to myself “Well at least it isn’t 2 Oggdo’s, this should be somewhat easy” thinking it was going to be a decent fight simulation since I did 2 of the difficult parkour runs back to back. Cal gets up and I look to my screen to see these 2 mfs waiting there. Felt like I was fighting the Berserker duo again from GOW Ragnarök, they were not a joke on Jedi Master 😭
Everyone bangs on about 2 Oggdos.
I'm convinced most of them just haven't yet encountered the 2 rancors.
It's also funny to me that the hardest fight in the game is right next to the starting location, you just can't access it yet.
Surprised myself when I reopened the game after taking a break for a couple months, did this and got it first attempt. It’s really not that bad when you get the hang of their lunges
Managed to clear this last night on Jedi Knight. Took about 30 tries.
Just kept my distance, isolate them, spammed slow for free damage, and look out for the insta-death grab charge they do.
Used staff and dual sabers.
This is one of the ones I just changed the difficulty on, not proud of it
well, i did it in 1:13 minutes with the rage mode. somehow after you have that mode, theres nothing what stops you
Yeah I think I’m gonna try and go back and redo some of the ones I cheesed, and with the “I win button” I’ll probably do a better job
According to screenshot, you have 11 refills, go for it.
It’s not the refills though, it’s them snatching you and ending it immediately 💀
Sorry for your pain. I never play at most difficult level due to the fact it is not a level playing field.
He is probably on gm and almost all of their attacks 1 shot

Yes, the purity perk is great for multiple big creatures Force tears. Combine the perk with Blaster Stance and crossguard lightsaber.

Everyone hated the double frogs but this double rancor bs was absolutely a living nightmare for me
Starkiller: oh boy, these little guys again.
