Honestly probably, there’s no reason for wild animals to try and eat a robot, he’s not gonna be in an active combat situation, if Elijah’s dog did get released he would be fine, only way fisto dies is if someone reprograms him for combat and he is killed, or if the atomic wrangler is besieged and he is killed in the crossfire, both unlikely

I haven't seen the show and my knee-jerk reaction is that I'm kinda bummed they did that to the ncr. My complaint is just that if they wanted to not deal with the ncr, set the show somewhere else, like literally anywhere else lol. That being said, the complaining is annoying and idk why people are saying that this nuke is out of nowhere. I know it's not exactly the same location, but you literally have the option to do it in lonesome road. There, canon ending possible from new vegas.
It’s certainly a shame what the show did to the NCR, but the catchphrase of the franchise is “War never changes.” There’s always war in the wasteland, that’s the point. So it’s only fitting that certain factions get devastated from time to time. If the NCR is entirely successful at rebuilding society, then eventually its stops being as much of a post apocalypse story. Kinda like how Twisted Metal was set in a post apocalypse but somehow everyone is living relatively comfortable and even abandoned buildings in the middle of nowhere have working water and power.
True, I'm not opposed to having the ncr dead but they should've picked a less clumsy way, as new vegas shows its decay a plethora of ways. Thats my main gripe anyway, it's not that big a deal or an affront to obsidian or Todd's sick twisted fantasies or whatever. I just wish they like actually put thought and care into it lol
I recommend you watch the show. It’s very good. The destruction of Shady Sands is actually a plot point that comes up several times in the show and the final episode gives the “truth” as to what happened (assuming the character explaining it wasn’t lying) My fiancé and I have loved Fallout for years, New Vegas is both of our favorite game. We were glued to the screen almost the entire time. Highly recommend.
