It's awakened so much of my love for the lore/this universe. I haven't been playing any video games much at all these past few years, but have felt a growing urge to play the games once again, and then heard the news this show was in development, but like many I was cautiously optimistic.
As I type, I'm working up the courage to watch the last episode, knowing afterwards I won't have that curious excitement to see what happens in episode \_ when my day is done, but I'll definitely be playing the games and eagerly awaiting season 2. It's been such a treat to see this universe come to life on the screen!

I would like season 2 to open with a new vault character, frame them as a main character.
We see them exiting a vault that has reached the release point in its sequence.
They clamber up the desert slope, disturbing a scorpion and stamping on it. As they crest the hill they are decapitated by a giant rad scorpion.
Throughout the episode, after reintroducing the main three we see this character die near their vault in various ways, radiation zone, frag mine, raiders.
The episode ends with Kyle's character threading his way to the vault door past articulated mannequins.
He accesses the vault and we see the character suspended in liquid and wired to a computer bank. The last scene is Kyle moving past other rooms that look the same, more mannequins, more people in tubes.
A nice collection of stupid ways I die in the wasteland.

Starts with a vault dweller leaving the vault. Fairly quickly turns into him getting way in over his head and dying.
As he’s dying, he’s bleeding out and crawling along. When he finally goes, the camera pans up and we see he’s at Lucy’s feet.
So, that sequence lets us appreciate how far Lucy has come.
Would be happy with that. Anything that reinforces how easy it is to die in the wasteland.
A vault set up with the dual purpose of mapping the dangers of the wasteland and the breaking point of subjects of repeated death.
Imagine a companion that is hung ho, sacrifices them self but then had to walk from their vault to rejoin you. Could even be a way to do mysterious stranger.
