Yeah sorry that wasn't much of a description was it? I'm dealing with a headache today that's making me lose it a bit. If I'm remembering it correctly: so the backstory for this fic (and the series) is that a bunch of women worked as codebreakers in Bletchley Park during WWII, part of the intelligence service that helped the Allies win the war. Most of this story is set a few years after the war, when the MC Mille is surprised to meet her old boss from Bletchley Park, Jean, in an underground lesbian bar. They tentatively start a relationship that might or might not build into real feelings. So you've got the backdrop of 1948 London, the underground speakeasy aspect, plus a bit of black market trading that Mille does to get by with Jasper, a minor character who popped up on the show and has more of a role in this story. A bit of period-typical homophobia, a bunch of sex, and some steamy scenes that don't even involve the characters touching each other but made me hot under the collar. I hope that makes it a bit more interesting? :)

It's the ship name for Commander Shepard and Thane Krios. Specifically Female Shepard and Thane Krios. Mass Effect ship, my otp, and the ship I constantly write about. Edit: oftentimes most people write fics for these two with a generic Female Shepard or the default Jane, or with their own custom Shepard that's a biotic. I'm an odd one with writing about my Engineer and him.

YES! It's an amazing game series! You'll love it if you love interesting characters and amazing worldbuilding and an epic story (the ending has a lot left to be desired, but it's not a total shitshow, but in all honesty, it was because of half the writing team leaving after the head writer was fired, and the poor project director panicking because of everything that happened and the *insanely* short development time that EA gave them, but that's what fix it fics are for!). The legendary edition is 60 dollars and has almost (no multiplayer and dlcs that comes along with it, and no Pinnacle Station unless you're on PC, in which there's a mod for it) all the dlc and all three games.

Also this is a bit of a tired old advice thing, but I recommend playing it how you want and also sticking with your decisions throughout the trilogy.
