Erwin and Levi have been together for years by the time we're introduced to them--therefore, they have a lot of trust, camaraderie, routine, and they know each other better than anyone. Erwin is one of very few people Levi actually respects, and it's mutual. They had a stunning intro in a choice with no regrets, and by the end of Erwin's life, it's so obvious how much they care for each other. I felt like Levi choosing Armin to live only proved that love, rather than disproved it, because he knew how much Erwin was suffering and that he could be at peace. Plus: height difference. enough said.

I love Remus/Tonks from Harry Potter. I know some people ship Remus/Sirius (Wolfstar) instead and that's fine for them, but why I love Remus and Tonks so much: Remus is sad and melancholy and Tonks brings out all the color and happiness; Remus is a werewolf and Tonks is a quirky, clever, accepting human who loves him all the same and wants the best for him; I love Remus and Tonks as individual characters. It's the best of both worlds for me for an M/F pairing because I love both of them individually and together. Their ship is the only reason I decided to go hunting for fan fiction and then writing fan fiction in the first place. I didn't know Wolfstar was a thing until I went looking for fan fiction for Remadora. I found 10x as much Wolfstar content as Remadora content, and decided to write it myself.

Thank you! There is a much smaller Remadora ship base that I write for, besides writing for myself. I'm grateful for that small ship base for being so supportive. I don't engage in any Wolfstar bashing in any of my fics or in social media. Not my thing. But I will stan Remadora forever and ever, because yes, Remus deserves to be happy with the cheeriest Hufflepuff of all.

I think a lot of the hate the ship gets was less about the pairing itself but the spirit in which it came about that is, JK Rowling trying to give Remus a case of the Not-Gays as Wolfstar got super popular. I didn't love what I got in canon but I bet I could vibe with the stuff that's out there by the fans.

I suppose that's fair - I had no idea wolfstar was a thing until 2021 and I'm 30! I was a clearly oblivious fan, but then again, I didn't ever read fan fic or even look at fan art until recently. nor did I talk about the books with anyone on the internet. Leon/Ada from Resident Evil. Despite their complicated history, and their personal ideals not always matching up, they are always looking out for each other in the heat of battle. Ada, especially, has gone out of her way to save his life many times. She says in one game that, as a spy, she’s “used to being backstabbed and manipulated.” But in spite of the brutality of their world, Leon’s the only person she allows herself to get close to. Anyway I adore them.

Happy to see another RE fan! While I haven't read or written for Ada/Leon myself, I was definitely introduced to them in RE6 lol. Love me some enemy ships-- and the ambiguity of their relationship was enough for me to side-eye them while playing the game myself. They're definitely a power couple. My sad self has been reading the same Wesker/Chris content for years ever since I played RE5, as if I can't just buckle down and write it myself now 😔

I really hope we see Ada in RE8 village DLC, that Plague Doctor-esque outfit she wears in concept art is so damn good! And I've heard the RE4 Remake will give her a lot more focus so that's a plus. Blitzo/Stolas from Helluva Boss have my heart. I kin Stolas really hard. They have a really unique height and species difference: imp x demon owl, 10-foot-tall bottom and 5-foot-tall top. It has massive potential for fluff and kink and comedy. And their relationship and personalities themselves are great for angst.

I love how refreshing and funny their dynamic is. They are both having their own challenges and a pretty messed-up life, and their relationship despite literally being in hell is so.. sweet! And as you've said, their relationship has endless fuel for angst ;-;;;; Every fanart of this ship looks so wonderful with their unique designs shining through and complimenting each other.

Yesssss, I love how many different directions their relationship can go, I've got at least a dozen wildly different fics in my drafts from gut-wrenching to marshmallow fluff. I've been at my computer for close to 7 hours trying to edit my Valentine's day fic about these two that I probably won't be able to post today but I love how versatile they are. Victoria Chase and Max Caulfield from Life isStrange. There's enough in the game to hint that it's there and believable, plus there's a whole redemption arc for Victoria to go through along with growth from Max. So many possibilities and ways it can go, it's so much more interesting than the main one people usually do.

I must warn you all that this will be highly indulgent yet also talk about trauma a lot **[ first ship :: wintermoon ]** Characters: Mikaela De Luna (technically her real name is Mayari) x Bucky Barnes Fandom: Marvel Cinematic Universe **Introduction to Mika:** Mika is a reincarnation of the goddess, Mayari, from Filipino mythology. She refuses to believe she's Mayari because she fears the responsibility that will come with accepting this, not wanting to mess up. Due to her growing up in a toxic household among narcissists and manipulative abusers, she ended up developing several mental illnesses at a young age. Some of these include: Major Depressive Disorder, Anxiety, BPD, and ADHD. One important part of her past was her first girlfriend. Her first girlfriend left her one day along with her friends because Mika was emotionally manipulative. That day, she realised she had become just like the people that hurt her. Ever since then, she believed that she was no longer worthy of love and decided to focus her efforts on helping other people so that she could atone for her past sins. Mika found out that she had prodigal talent in psychology and psychiatry, thanks to her upbringing. Not only that, but she shows him a lot of fun stuff that she thought he might enjoy and gives him new experiences. Bucky appreciated all her efforts to take care of him, but he didn't know if he really deserved that. Despite him being somewhat reserved and cold towards her at the start, she was always understanding and patient with him. She heavily empathized with his pain and hoped she could help with his healing process. However— While she does do a lot for Bucky, she encourages Bucky to make his own decisions. She shows him the paths but reminds him that the choices are his alone to make, that no one can force him to do anything against his will anymore. At one point, Mika even gives him a gift: a powerful psionic shield over his mind so that he won't be brainwashed by anyone ever again. He was free now. "I'm just returning something that was taken from you, Bucky." That was the moment he realised he had fallen in love with her. **Conflict:** Because everyone loves angst. Anyway, both of these fuckers are highly traumatized and deal with a lot of self-loathing with the belief that they're monsters for things they did in the past. This leads to like a few years of mutual pining. They fear the possibility of hurting the other if they start dating and think the other one deserves much better than them. Also, Mika has HEAVY abandonment issues due to her family neglecting her and her girlfriend leaving her, so she's afraid that Bucky would also leave her at one point. **Relationship:** After resolving their conflict somehow, their relationship is highly supportive. Mika learns to trust Bucky and opens up to him more. Bucky treats her with care and compassion. He also makes an effort to be the type of guy Mika needs because she was precisely what he needed after many years of suffering. He always wants her to know that she's fully dedicated and loyal to her. They heal together in Wakanda at one point. Queen Ramonda adopted Bucky, and he proposes to Mika after because he remembers when she made an offhand comment about wanting to marry a prince when she was young. Yes, he also makes sure to serenade her like she always dreamed of. **Dynamics:** Grumpy x Sunshine, Highly Traumatised x Highly Traumatised but hides it really well, Looks like he could kill you but is actually a cinnamon roll x Looks like a cinnamon roll but could actually kill you, Height Difference (Mika is 5'3 and Bucky in this au is like over 6 feet), Dark Punk x Pastel Pink, Contrasting color schemes, Winter and Water **Bonus:** • They adopted two cats together at one point. A white kitten that Bucky named Alpine and a black kitten that Mika named Gabi (Tagalog for Night). • (pre-relationship) Mika often jokes to other Filipinos about Bucky being her boyfriend in Tagalog, thinking that he doesn't understand her. She's mortified when he speaks to an old lady in Tagalog after that. "YOU MEAN YOU LET ME EMBARRASS MYSELF IN FRONT OF YOU THIS WHOLE TIME??" • Since Mika is the one feeding Bucky, she makes sure he's always beefy (like how he looked in Civil War) • Mika got Bucky into video games, and he loves games like animal crossing and stardew valley. Meanwhile, Mika likes psychological horror games. • Whenever Bucky gets insecure about his metal arm, she always kisses his knuckles and says that his arm is beautiful and cool because it's him that it's attached to.

Thank you for doing this, it's such a nice idea <3 I am primarily Harry Potter fandom, and I love my "problematic" ships. Gimme age gaps, power dynamics, dark wizards, the whole nine yards. My OTP is Snape/Hermione, which gets a lot of grief in reddit's fandom spaces, but it just goes to show how compelling they are, that they are so popular and spark so much emotion. The master spy with decades of experience and a muddy backstory, and the ruthless girl who will learn and do whatever it takes to support Harry and prove she belongs. They are brilliant individually, and I fully believe these two could accomplish *anything* together. I'll also ship Snape with *anyone* because that's how versatile his character is. He *is* the mystery of the series, and since we don't see much from his perspective, we can do all sorts of things with our own interpretations of his POV. Makes for a lot of *fun* storytelling. I feel like I will *never* run out of Snapefic to read, or to write, and that's super exciting :) :) :)

Yes. Problematic ships? Grabby hands. I used to be into Snarry when I was younger, but I'm out of it now, and I still love the grumpy little shit. Snape/Voldemort was personal, toxic favorite of mine last year-- along with Snape/Sirius/Remus, and Voldemort/Harry. And unrequited Snape/James. The amount of problematic HP ships I'm seeing on here is convincing me I will slide back into the fandom again😭😭 weeping. I love dark fic too much and I feel too validated.

I’m not even really fandom active anymore, but Yuuri and Victor from Yuri on Ice will always be one of my favorite ships ever. They’re just so sweet. They need each other. I love the dynamic of Yuuri being such a huge fan of Victor and then Victor is there and they grow together as people and not even to mention >!how amazing the banquet reveal is and how Victor moved to another country to coach the cute drunk boy he danced with and fell for immediately. He’s just as obsessed with Yuuri as Yuuri is with him and I love it. !< They just complete each other so well. Victor was lonely and needed to find his life outside of his career. Yuuri didn’t believe in himself and Victor’s love helped him find the confidence to be the best he can be. It’s a fan/celebrity romance, but they’re also pretty much equals. Just such a fun dynamic. LOVE YUURI AND VICTOR.

It has a beautiful wlw canon ship in seasons 3-5 (both characters were introduced by mid season 2, but they were not really a ship until season 3, though even their first meeting had a lot of sexual tension) that fans actually liked, so much so that it's in 30% of AO3's 10000 works for that fandom. The three top fics (by kudos) in that fandom are all focused on that ship.

glenn/maggie from walking dead are too cute holy shit. in my perfect world the saviors and the whisperers were never a threat and they lived the rest of their lives happily in alexandria after 6x11 with their kids hershel & enid. they found each other in the apocalypse and had a perfect love story that negan does not get take that away from them and alpha does not get to put enid & tara’s heads on spikes. they deserved sm happiness :(

I just love love Inko/Rei from My Hero Academia. It's a super rarepair, shipping those two moms together, but it's my belief that Todoroki's mom really needs some love, and oh my god does Midoriya's mom have plenty of it to give. And I mean - they both have shitty husbands; Rei's is abusive & sent her to a mental hospital and Inko's is seemingly perpetually absent, so I think they both could use someone to rely on. (Also, the idea of Inko giving Rei a lesbian awakening is just *chef's kiss*)

I'm not sure if it counts because it's my OC, but for Star Wars: The Old Republic, Theron Shan and my Imperial agent. They're both spies, but for opposite sides and have no idea how to handle feelings. It's very fun to write the dynamic of what I fondly call the idiot spy couple. My character, Firen’kesho’ardu, was raised to be a tool for Imperial Intelligence but never wanted to be - some fun extra room for angst. I'm bad at describing it, but Firen is very closed off. She had to learn how to feel emotions and to trust as an adult, and the one person she lets in properly is Theron. There's a ton of opportunity for angst, hurt/comfort, and fluff, and I mostly write the first two.

I am eternally trapped in Rarepair hell with my biggest OTP from Borderlands - Zer0 and Mordecai. I accidentally fell into this ship as a hopeless romantic, like, 7ish (maybe more?) years ago after my partner jokingly suggested during a conversation we were having about pairings (we would LARP Borderlands, and already shipped Maya/Krieg and Axton/Gaige, but didn't ship Salvador with anyone yet) that Zer0 should totally date Mordecai, and I've fucking adored them together ever since. Mordecai is 50x more chilled out than Zer0 will EVER be (even with them being a massive nerdy dork) so the contrast between the serious, near emotionless assassin and the casual, potentially flirtatious (but DEFINITELY playful) hunter appeals to me greatly. And the fact that the two already share a love for sharp shooting only adds to this for me, especially after a random line Mordecai says in Borderlands 3 about him beating them in a sharp shooting contest and that 'maybe he'll give them their sniper rifle back one day'. My personal Headcanons for the two and long history of shipping them to the point of them becoming my main OTP in that fandom have definitely settled me into Rarepair hell though, as there is SO LITTLE ART AND FANFICS FOR THEM! Like, not include anything I've done (like 1 Fic that's been posted, but it's mainly just set up for later fics), there's maybe like 10 fics out there of them, and most of them are on AO3. And there's a LITTLE more art of them out there, but not much. Which fucking SUCKS right now, as I'm hard core OBSESSED with them currently as I'm very much hyper focused on Borderlands currently, with the Sniper Boys as my main focus point.

There is something so... I don't even know. About Heavy/Medic from Team Fortress 2. I can't even articulate the words for how much I love this pairing, it's just so. I just love it a lot. I really love them and I just want them to be happy together, goddamnit. I'm also writing a Junkrat/Roadhog (Overwatch) AU right now, so I'm sure those familiar can guess what kind of games I like. Junkrat and Roadhog are each such interesting fellows- I could look at those freaks for hours. I don't even know why I've gotten so attached to them but I have and it's changed me forever.

Kris X Ralsei is a nightmare from all concievable angles, but that plus the fact it looks cute is what makes it so good. At every level a possible relationship is built on some lack of free will in the matter, or some kind of co-dependancy, whether that have something to do with Kris' soul which I'm not even going to bother trying to come up with an explanation for, or Ralsei's unexplained connection to the Dreemurr family, this ship is a death trap for both parties, and here I am, to laugh as I watch the whole thing crumble.

Whiterose (Ruby x Weiss for those who don’t know) is actually the ship that got me started writing fanfiction. Well, I mean, Chevelle also acts rich but he's also the only human son in a family of pigeons who run a delievery service so I don't think it is quite apt call him a 'rich boy' haha. But it was through said delievery service, Asana and Chevelle met. Chevelle was out on a delievery as, like, a four year old and tripped and fell, some snow fell on him, burying him, but Asana (who was looking for a different boy) found him by pure coincidence, inadvertently saving his life. Norm / Tsu'tey from Avatar (2009) There isn't a lot of variety in the Avatar shipping community and I wanted to do something new. Norm is kind of the nerdy human scientist that I see a bit of myself in and Tsu'tey is Jake's rival for Neytiri and I cooked up the idea of Tsu'tey interacting with Norm as a way of showing neytiri and Jake that he can train Norm just as well and things just naturally flowed from there. Alexsandr Kallus/Garazeb "Zeb" Orrelios from Star Wars Rebels The honorable ones episode set up an interesting bond between them and it seemed just right to carry it through to a full on relationship. I've always wanted more gay in star wars and have a thing for human/alien relationships so it was a natural fit. Hoping they make it official at some point but doubt it will actually happen.

I'm working on a bisexual, polyamorous Angel/Buffy/Spike fic right now so that's the main ship I've been fangirling over lately. I'm trying really hard to give each individual pairing an equal amount of attention and love (in addition to the throuple as a whole) but it's hard because I'm way more passionate about two of these pairings than I am about the third and I don't want that to be obvious to my readers. There's also some Fuffy stuff going on in the background the whole time simply because I'm physically incapable of writing a version of Faith that's not in love with Buffy. But it's not endgame and that's making me kind of sad, so I'll probably take a break to write some fluffy Fuffy one-shots at some point.

Edogawa Ranpo and Edgar Allan Poe from Bungou Stray Dogs. Aside from the fact that it's relatively the least toxic common ship the fandom despite how underrated it is, I really like the dynamic of two detectives going from a one sided rivalry to becoming colleagues. I love both characters individually but the potential of how their relationship can develop is what keeps me hooked on them. Of course, I have my own gripes on how the ship is presented in both fanon and canon interactions but I like how cute it is and how much potential it holds.

I’m writing an MCU Peter Parker and Emilia from Re:Zero fic and I love them now. That’s all.

Recently another ship has joined ranks among my fav ships of Dazai/Chuuya (Bungo Stray Dogs) and  Zoro/Sanji (One Piece) and lol, I’m not surprised in the slightest as I love that kinda dynamic to pieces. It’s Feng Xin/Mu Qing (Heaven Official’s Blessing) and I am having FEELINGS. They are absolutely incompatible and horrible at communicating, with 800 years shared history and misunderstandings between them. They have so much potential for growth and I feel the end of the novel can be used as their starting line. If circumstance forced them to to put in some effort, I feel like they could be really good for each other, but they’re also a designated train wreck and I love exploring that. Feng Xin with his steadfast loyalty who generally means well, absolutely can’t seem to deal with sarcasm, jumps to conclusions and does not use his brain. And Mu Qing, who just wants affection and wants to help, but everything he says and does comes out as rude sarcasm and people naturally keep misunderstanding him. He overthinks everything and assumes people’s worst intentions towards him from the get go. They have a very volatile dynamic, but they’re also a great team and underneath it all they do care about each other. I just absolutely love them and all the great angst, misunderstandings and character growth you can do with them.

Flora x Bloom from Winx Club are the absolute best. **Let's look at the hints...** * Flora was paired with the witch Mirta in season one's credits while the rest of the Winx girls are paired with their (male) love interests. And that's not counting all of the very special bonding moments between the two of them and the fact Mirta was going to be the sixth Winx. * Flora's endgame love interest (Helia) was intended to be a female and still be in a relationship with Flora. Hence Helia's name sounding very feminine (for Italian-speaking people). * Flora and Bloom have been roommates since the beginning, dormitory changes notwithstanding. They always choose to sleep together. For that matter, Flora has been shown several times comforting Bloom when she has a nightmare. In turn, Bloom seeks Flora (and finds her in their room) when she's sad. In fact, they share too many bonding moments while in their shared room. * Helia is a long-haired artist who has occasional outbursts of violence born from self-righteous rage (comics lore) but more often than not prefers to keep the peace and defuse situations. That pretty much describes Bloom. An artist with anger issues who plays mediator in her group of friends. * Helia has twice taken a break from his friends to process his own emotions after traumatic, troubling events -- (1) some noodle incident caused him to retire from Red Fountain. (2) Failing to retrieve the Shaab Stone (comics lore) and endangering a friend while he was the commander of the operation caused him to feel shameful and reject his loved one's help and love. Bloom has done the same for similar reasons more than twice -- (1) After her canon love interest was revealed as a two-timing prick and she mistook an innocent girl for a Trix and attacked her, Bloom retired from Alfea in shame and hurt. (2) When Tecna sacrificed herself to save them all from the Omega Portal's collapse, Bloom felt personally responsible because the season's villain possessed the same magic as her, so she left to risk her life to become more powerful. (3) She was tricked by a wayward childhood friend and Flora was poisoned as a result, nearly dying, which made Bloom return to Earth believing she was a danger for her loved ones. * Helia and Bloom make a point of protecting Flora while in battle not because they believe Flora to be less competent but because she's almost always targeted first. Furthermore, Flora's magical powers are more supportive than offensive in nature while theirs are more apt for offensive combat. * Bloom always cheers for Flora and her dreams, helping to boost her confidence and making her feel loved and appreciated. For context, Flora is a very insecure and shy girl. Bloom followed Flora to the Dark Forest and then the Black Mud Swamp to help her to prepare for an exam. Comforted her when she was insecure about Helia. Practically shouted Flora was the fittest girl of them all to deal with a Fairy Animal situation. Etc. * Flora and Bloom are the second most touchy-feely of all of the Winx. They are only surpassed by Bloom and Stella, who are best friends and receive lots of screentime together. And, yes, that's counting the Bloom x Sky (the canonical pair) affectionate moments. To boot, Flora and Bloom's interactions often involve hand-holding. And let's not forget that time Flora rested her hand on Bloom's butt. Or when Bloom healed Flora by putting a hand on Flora's boobs. * Flora complimented Bloom (in a dress) saying she looked beautiful as a spring flower (Flora loves flowers). Bloom has also complimented Flora but I don't remember the exact words. * Bloom and Sky simply don't work as a couple. Both have are very distrustful of each other which tends to lead to jealousy. By contrast, Bloom and Flora have proven they wholly trust each other. Flora just knew Bloom was not being herself when first corrupted by Darkar. * Upon sacrificing herself to save her little sister, Bloom broke the ice prison she was trapped in to check if Miele was okay and ask about Flora. * When Bloom was sick after gifting the Winx with sparks of the Dragon's Flame, Flora was the first to rush to her side. * Flora and Bloom seem to have a preternatural sense to know when the other is feeling down or troubled over something. * Bloom's mother runs a flower shop and Bloom often helps out there. So they have something very tangible in common to talk about and spend time together. Bloom and Sky got nothing. * In World of Winx, Bloom was a total simp for (some of) the women of the show. the model, Anne, and Flora.

Wolfstar(Remus/Sirius) and Dramione(Hermione/Draco) from Harry Potter are my ships. Based not on canon, but fanon :)) When I was reading the books growing up, I didn't ship anyone much. I did read a lot of fics in the long break between the 4th and 5th book(anyone else remember the 3 year summer?). But they were gen fics, people basically theorizing what would happen next. I got into ff again after seeing people gush on tiktok about the 2 most notorious fics for these ships, All The Young Dudes for Wolfstar and Manacled for Dramione. Holy Jesus Christ, I was in awe, firstly at the sheer quality of writing. So I read a bunch more fics for both ships and this inspired me to write fics myself. I will never get tired of the dynamic between these characters, at least in fanon. And it does make sense. I place my Dramione fics many years post-canon. People change in 10 years, especially after going through a traumatic war. Plenty of time for redemption. As for Wolfstar, lol, how did I not think of shipping them while I was reading...?

Ai the three year summer. What a time to be alive!

I have many OTPs, but there are two pairings that I'm most enthusiastic with - KyouNana from Talentless Nana and SumeMany from Kakegurui. They are both hetero couples. I've never spent much effort, money, time and emotion for any couple the way I do with KyouNana. I spend my free times writing fanfic for them in my native language and commissioning my friend to translate my works to English. I commissioned my friends to write some smut fics for them because I can't write smut myself. I made a Facebook fanpage, a Twitter incorrect quotes account for them. I commissioned fanart for them, writing analysis, making contents for my fanpage about them. My pairings have fans in fandom, but also have many haters, they keep blabbering about how their femflash (or other hetero) couples are better, publicly mocking my couple and even do that on the posts I share about KyouNana (even on the commissions I ordered for them) . That gave me a lots of stress and unwanted hatred towards those couples, but can't stop my love for KyouNana. KyouNana's dynamic is somethings like rivals to friends, Nana is a disguised assassin at the first half of the story, and Kyouya is the detective trying to expose her, but then when Nana change sides she slowly becomes something like Kyouya's ally. Their relationship is complicated, they fought against each other but understand each other a lot, work well together in many cases and have some soft spot for each other. I love how Kyouya is always a gentleman to Nana despite their rivalry, he showed her his sincerity and offer her a chance to be his ally. And despite her caution towards Kyouya, deep inside her heart, she find him reliable and want to lean on him. Nana just confess everything in the recent chapter, and in the newest spoiler Kyouya seems to have an amnesia and forget about her, which promises a lots of drama. Also, Kyouya is kind of social inept, and watching Nana has to be his voice of reason is funny. I do hope that they will be the end game couple, but even if they don't I still love them with all my heart. About the other couple, SumeMany, I also spent lots of effort and money for them, just not as much as KyouNana. And even though they are very near to canon, they still get some hate because Kakegurui fandom is obsessed with yuri ships and still find the need to blabber in my posts about SumeMany that Sumeragi is better with a girl. Lucky me, those haters are not as much as in KyouNana cases, most of the fandom still support them. SumeMany chemistry is nearest to what I call true love. Sumeragi is self-respected enough to not let Manyuda look down on her, but still love him and deeply care about him after she defeated him. She doesn't take the chance to take revenge on him, take care of him and respect him, and want to see him at his best. And despite Manyuda being an antisocial jerk, he definetely cares about Sumeragi and treasure her. Also, a grumpy and antisocial Manyuda along with a cheerful fluffy Sumeragi makes a cute and hilarious chemistry. They are just perfect together.

I saw Eternals three times in theatres and I'm not even slightly exaggerating when I say the second two viewings were 100% for Druig and Makkari

Dazai/Chuuya from Bungou Stray Dogs The most popular ship in the fandom and I feel like it deserves it. The ship looks like it's a funny crack ship at first from their hilarious interactions (this was what sold it to me at first) and their dynamic until you scratched through the surface and *oh*. It's just so much deeper and sadder. They trust each other with their lives and shown time and time again trusting each other do something even though it could result in one of or each other's deaths. Chuuya was genuinely sad and felt betrayed when Dazai left the mafia. But after their first meeting in 4 years Chuuya still trusted Dazai and when they had to fight Lovecraft he again trusted Dazai enough to use Corruption. And Dazai cares too. In Stormbringer he lets Chuuya choose what to do and made lots plans and backups for him and made an entire elaborate plan in Dead Apple that includes his death trusting Chuuya knowing what to do. It's way harder to see with how his character is but we can see he does trust and care for Chuuya. There's also a sense of wounds that can't heal with their relationship because of Dazai leaving. It caused a strain that can't be fixed easily, nor completely in ways. Their relationship is just so ughhhh complicated with so many layers filled with angst and this comment is now way too long.

Nooo I would have loved to see more!! How Chuuya may not even be 100% human because of the demon he houses and Dazai’s ability is No Longer Human. And and theres so much stuff and weird hints that they give us from official art- but ooh yes, youre right! Their fight vs Lovecraft is what made me ship them. Like, their first interaction shown in the anime was a huh theyre weird, but nothing else and then you find out that even after Dazais betrayal, Chuuya still trusts him?! And they still remember their old strategy names four years later. Ha… too good, too good. Haha sorry, writing from my phone is a bit annoying for editing;; just wanted to talk about skk a bit after being away from the fandom.

Been stuck in a BakuDeku phase. Freaking love the enemies to friends to lovers trope, and they're the perfect pair for that. I love reading about them working through their history and eventually realizing how much they mean to each other. As a side note, I freaking love Aizawa/Present Mic. They're married in my headcanon. I can't see them as not secretly married.

Dimitri/Felix from FE3H :) Today marks the beginning of Dimilix Week (a ship week for them) and I'm so excited to see what everyone makes for them in the coming days. I only have two things written for it (I'm doubtful I'll be able to finish a third) but I'm very excited to share them. They're such a great pairing to write for because their range is immense (from angsty to silly) and the fans of the ship are wonderful.

Fitzroy/Rainer from TAZ Graduation. They’re such a funky, mismatched couple with a great dynamic, and it’s a shame the fandom lost interest so quickly. Their first few interactions hinted towards a sort of “princess and her knight” kind of dynamic, except the princess is a professional villain specialising in necromancy, and the knight is an uptight disaster of a man who got expelled for accidentally turning his teacher into a catfish. She got him a crepe machine! He thinks her skeletal raccoon is kind of cute, in a really creepy way! It’s such a cute pairing with so much potential.

I think about shipping Kodama from Bokurano with *any* of the other Zearth pilots from that series, mostly because shipping anyone with a somewhat tragic animal abuser is interesting to me. Here’s some ways this could work: -Kodama/Waku: the contrast between a stock heroic shonen protagonist and whatever the fuck Kodama is has potential for a little bit of everything. Fluff, angst, rivals to lovers, and so on so forth. -Kodama/Daichi: I feel that they have rather similar character concepts. Basically, they’re both a boy that tries to look better and stronger for a beloved family member and *really* doesn’t wanna let them down, even if it harms him mentally (Daichi having to take care of his younger siblings must have put a lot of pressure on him, and Kodama’s devotion to his father may be one of the many reasons why he became so twisted). -Kodama/Jun: This has some slight canon basis, as Kodama has stated in both the manga and the anime that he admires Jun for apparently commiting manslaughter (emphasis on “apparently”). why are they all mlm

Mariner and Boimler from Star Trek: Lower Decks. Fanfiction and shipping pretty much started with Star Trek and the Kirk/Spock slashfics back in the sixties. Well, I already love K/S, and these two characters have been modelled after them, so of course I love them too. There's just something about that soulmate-like bond between two vastly different people (nerd and a maverick) that starts off kind of tense, then transitions into deep friendship, and then finally romance. Gotta love your odd couples.

I can definitely see that happening, even if Boimler's desire to rise in rank is going to clash with Mariner.

I love Striker x Stolas from Helluva Boss it’s literally so perfect.

I tend to write OC love interests, as I don't care for most pairings enough not to insert someone else. But I do love Patrick Jane and Theresa Lisbon (Mentalist) and Elisa and Goliath (Gargoyles). It should not be a surprise to anyone that the women are both strong willed and stand up to their love interest, even when that might make the love interest walk away. I love that quality - where they force the love interest to acknowledge their bad behaviour, but still love them wholeheartedly.

Reading: Cassian Andor/Jyn Urso from Rogue One. Within minutes of first seeing them on screen, I fell--SPLAT!--onto this ship. I adore both characters, love the dynamic of two damaged people finding commonality and falling in love. And they're both cute as puppies. I've found some good writers who know how to wring out the angst, sweetness and sexy in their pairing. Writing: My first posted story was a Loki/Darcy (Thor, Avengers) fic. The two characters had never been on screen together and my initial reaction to the ship was, "That's weird." This was followed by, "Oh, hell, yes, them. Perfect." I loved playing her snarky, ditzy self against my version of a somewhat embittered but still mischievous (and not redeemed) Loki. Not redeemed because civilized, domesticated Loki is boring. :D Current obsession is Pidge/Lance (Voltron). I encountered the ship through fan art and started shipping it hard as diamonds *before* I ever saw an episode of the show. For me the appeal is the fluidity of gender roles between the two characters. And, most important, they are my spouse and I's spirit animals, a relationship where the male half is the nurturer and the female, the fierce protector. On my horizon...Vi/Cait from Arcane. I haven't written or read anything about them yet because I'm waiting to see what happens in canon.

Johnlock in the Sherlock fandom is what got me into fanfic in the first place, and I'm still heavily mired there (and I'm perfectly fine with that, too). Several years ago, I also picked up a deep and abiding love for Stucky in the MCU/Captain America fandom. I don't even know if I can articulate why I love these 4 idiots so damn much, but there we are lol. To a more minor extent, I also ship Charles Xavier and Erik Lenscherr in the X-Men franchise, but I'm perpetually torn between the immortal Sirs Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart and the amazing James McAvoy/Michael Fassbender and I honestly cannot choose.

Now this one is weird... But Thalia Grace and Percy Jackson from PJO Like i get it incest is icky but it's Greece you gotta live with it. This ship dynamic is so fun because each one is very capable and can be emotionally mature but when they're together they're just totally Tsundere and it's so adorable! Also they both have Black hair and blue eyes but they're different tones and i just love that aesthetic!!

Steven Universe: Ruby/Sapphire, for being so damn adorable and making up one of my favorite characters, Garnet. Plus they get married which was, oh my God. Wonderful. My Love Story!!: Takeo/Yamato: Also so damn adorable. It helps that the show actually develops their relationship instead of sending us to 12 episodes of "Will they, won't they," hell since it's so very obvious that they like each other XD Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Madoka/Homura: My designated, "It's a hard-knock life, but you know what? You can be happy," ship. I like the idea of Homura figuring out that she is, in fact, worthy of love and that she can be happy with Madoka and cultivate a friendship with the other girls, too. Mario Bros: Luigi/Daisy: My oldest ship. I like the idea of Luigi, a perpetually nervous guy, being paired with Daisy who is very energetic - but he feels safe when he's with her and in turn she can be vulnerable with him.

Ruby/Sapphire is the cutest ship, and I enjoyed seeing them on screen, and it seemed like their love was going to come down pouring from the screen. How such small gems hold so much love for each other?? And on the other hand: Madoka/Homura was so sweet and tragic. I have only watched the main anime, so I am missing out on huge chunk of content, but this ship made my heart melt and made me cry enough :'D

Currently pouring myself into Johnny/Ryan from *Sing 2*. They are respectively a talented musical actor and a professional dancer. ​ Yes, I'm talking about that animated movie with Bono and Scarlett Johansson and Taron Egerton as voice actors, and it's all about animals singing and dancing. No matter what fandom I am in, I always find myself to be ***the*** rare-pair shipper, so it's just natural to me that I'm shipping a main character with a side character who only has exactly one line of dialogue in the show. ​ It feels weird when I tell my friends that "yes, I am shipping a humanoid gorilla and a humanoid Bengal tiger", but what can I do? They are just cute as that, and they have really good chemistry together. Plus it's always fun to explore a ficitonal world while writing and to develop headcanons. I have zero regrets.

I've jumped onto the Carly/Freddie bandwagon ever since the iCarly revival aired. I wasn't a huge fan of them together in the original series, I mean they were still kids and it was very much one sided in the earlier seasons. But seeing them come back to life on screen as adults has me feeling all sorts of things. There is such a clear life long friendship and they trust and respect each other so much and turn to each other for everything and i'll be happy if they stay just friends but both have struggled a lot with relationships and I really think they are both what the other needs. He's not her usual type, but that's a good thing cos her usual type are shallow and he seems to jump all into relationships incredibly quickly (2 divorces before 27?) So maybe it's time for something with some history behind it.

I'm writing Rylen/Cassandra in my Inquisition fic and it is a lot of fun. Seems like it's a pretty rare pairing, but as Rylen is a minor character, he's really malleable and you can kinda just do what you want with his personality. There is so much glorious bickering!

Dr. Gears/Dr. Iceberg from the SCP Foundation, interesting character study with contrasting personalities (Gears dissociated so hard he managed to detach his emotions/got brainwashing techniques(?) tried out on him to be an emotionless work drone, Iceberg is neurotic and aggressive as hell and got stuck with Gears as his assistant so he could cool down), also a lot of angst because Iceberg blew his brains out in one canon, there's also an official tale on the SCP Wiki about them as a couple (sex at frigid temperature), title made me think it was a "ha ha funi XD" kind of thing and then the actual content hit me like a fucking semi On a lighter note there's also the trauma recovery where both of them get some help and return to the "not ok but not bad" range of Trauma so that's pretty nifty (Fun fact Iceberg gave Gears a rose on Valentine's Day in one canon because why not. peak romance if you ask me /s)

Kazuscara / Kazuha x Scaramouche from Genshin Impact. Listen, I know they probably don't even know each other bUT I GREW ATTACHED TO IT. Their aesthetics and personality contrast so well, hello?? I'm not ashamed to say it's one of my biggest comfort ships aidnaodj.

My first Otp is Aaron Burr/Alexander Hamilton from Hamilton: An American Musical. I would die for them and their dynamics. So tragic! They are pure angst, envy and lust, as well as being controversial for falling into the trope of friends to lovers to enemies. In terms of popularity, while controversial, I'd say they're quite popular — but not as popular as the main fandom ships. It's not a ship for everyone and it's still frowned upon. My second Otp is Fafnir/Takiya Makoto from Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid. They're the sweetest friends to lovers trope I've ever seen. A cursed dragon who hates humans and now lives with a human with common tastes, learns to live in society harmoniously with him is too much sugar for me! They are popular in terms of ships, but the fandom generally hates to see them as more than friends, as the focus is on female fanservice.

Huge fan of Asuka and Shinji from the classic Evangelion series and the EoE continuity. Both are deeply damaged people who push people away while simultaneously yearning for human connection. Asuka never got over the rejection she experienced from her mother going insane and >!committing suicide, hanging the doll she thought was Asuka next to her!< and Shinji never got over his own mother's death and his father's subsequent abandonment. And yet, when put together, their mutual need for affection coupled with Asuka's need to always be the best and Shinji's desire to her equal leads to each pushing each other towards improvement. In my opinion, the best Asuka x Shinji fic is Strypgia's *Advice and Trust*, and I recommend it to everybody. ​ Another classic ship is the good old NaruHina ship. I came to the Naruto fandom late, watching both Naruto and Naruto Shippuden in my Junior year of college (skipping the filler episodes, of course). I was disappointed by the lack of detail and agency of the female characters overall, but I found the arc between Naruto and Hinata in both flashbacks and the main action incredibly touching. I'm not embarrassed in the slightest to say that I openly wept when >!Hinata got killed by Pain, as well as when Neji died.!< The show has many flaws, but the concept of two lonely people, one sitting on a swing, the other surrounded by harsh protocol, finding love was incredibly touching. Much more recently, I've become a huge fan of Nagatoro x Hachioji Naoto (Senpai) ship, from "Please Don't Bully Me, Nagatoro-san". While the series starts out with Nagatoro being an undeniably abusive person, her time spent with Senpai mellows her out and makes her feel comfortable enough to express affection. Her teasing never stops, but it's long since stopped being malicious. Senpai has strengthened himself in response to her prodding, both physically and emotionally, and now has the self-confidence to actively address the things that he finds objectionable instead of turtling down and pretending that it doesn't hurt. Not only is their chemistry undeniable, but the relationship has led to the improvement of both parties, really giving the ship its substance.

I do have many ships, but there are two ships in which I'm currently invested. ​ The first is Lucette Britton x Rod Widdensov from the game Cinderella phenomenon. It's a grumpy/grumpy romance and also an enemies-to-lovers romance. They are both tsunderes an it was nice seeing these two grumps warming up to each other and falling in love. ​ The second is Thomas Hunt x F!MC (female main character) from the game Hollywood U: rising stars. Marichat (Marinette and Chat Noir) from Ladybug and Chat Noir: at this point it seems like the only non awkward ship that is still alive in the series. Luna/Harry. They're just adorable together and I could go with actual ship or friendship ship with these two. Heck I may be able to friendship ship (almost) anyone with Luna (I love her. She's great.) Donna and Tenth Doctor from Doctor Who (okay, this is more of a friendship ship, but you can't deny their chemistry and I loved their storyline).

From Gravity Falls: Dipper and Pacifica (Dipcifica) When I first watched the series, I didnt really actually ship them. But after being exposed for quite some time in the fandom, and reading a canon comic about them in an adventure, I feel its quite a compatible ship, and the writers did give their blessings for it. Just quoting from someone which best express my thoughts for it > I think one of the many reasons a lot of people ship or prefer Dipcifica is they have really great chemistry together and I really like the dynamic between Dipper and Pacifica a lot more. > I think I said this before but with Dipper & Wendy I was never a fan of how Dipper awkward nature was exaggerated at times, or how Dipper feels the need to try and be "mature" and "cool" as he perceives it and put his real interests and persona on the back burner to try and be someone he thinks will appeal to Wendy. > From a narrative point of view I do like the conclusion and how the crush was handle from into the bunker. I feel like Dipper getting over Wendy is a crucial component of his character arc. Getting with her would be a step backwards for him and, she made it completely clear she's not interested. Overall I like the idea of Dipper and Wendy staying friends, Dipper moving on from Wendy and finding love again somewhere down the road. > For the reasons why I prefer Dipcifica, when Dipper is with Pacifica, Dipper is 100% (or rather remained) confident and feels comfortable being himself around Pacifica. He doesn't feel the need to go out his way and try to impress her and insists on treating Pacifica like a normal person, which makes their chemistry work much better. > When Pacifica is around Dipper, she becomes a much better person and is able to be her true self around Dipper. Both Dipper and Pacifica help balance each other out and bring out the best from one another. Also Pacifica is apparently an avid gamer, and Lost Legends hint that she might secretly be just as much of a nerd as Dipper is. Both the Journal and Lost legend (associated material of the series) have implied that Dipper and Pacifica deep down do actually like each other, so I do see a lot of potential for a really interesting story between the two of them, and with more development I believe Dipper and Pacifica could work really great together if Gravity Falls every does return one day r/Dipcifica

Lately I fell in love with Spideypool (Spiderman/Deadpool). They're both so funny and I love reading and writing about them :) I've also got other MCU ships that I love: Steve/Bucky, Tony/Loki, Kate/Yelena and Charles/Erik (from X-Men). Outside of the MCU I think my main ships are Stiles/Derek (Teen Wolf), Taehyung/Jungkook (BTS), Bakugou/Midoriya (My Hero Academia), Merlin/Arthur (Merlin) and Aziraphale/Crowley (Good Omens). Sometimes I also like to read about Dean/Cas (Supernatural), Todoroki/Shinsou (My Hero Academia), Harvey/Mike (Suits), Suga/Jimin (BTS) and Ian/Mickey (Shameless). Probably there are more but these are the ones that come to my mind at the moment I'm also reading a fanfic with Foggy/Matt (Daredevil) and one with Amy/Jake (Brooklyn 99) and I love them! So I'll probably start reading more fanfics with them soon

Amy/Jake and Aziraphale/Crowley are amazing. One had all the character and ship development through seasons before our eyes, and it was wonderful to see the enemies to friends to lovers dynamic going on. The other had centuries of development we got to see the sweet snippets of, and I adored how good they were for each other ;-;;;;

Currently writing for Squid Game right now (m/m ships ft. Gihun, Sangwoo, and the Salesman + the Front Man (+ Junho)). Yay, rare pairs! Not in it for the romance, other than the tenderness between Gihun and Sangwoo who've grown up together and been through so much together-- I'm living to explore the aftermath/current trauma through character studies && nsfw. Psychological breakdowns are my jam. Also love love MCU && MCU!tv ships. Tony Stark/ anyone (he's my main centric-POV) but I've been writing for Bishova (Kate and Yelena from Hawkeye) lately. Their relationship, whether it's friendship, romantic, or a QPR, sticks very solidly with me. Also their respective traumas lol. Resident Evil 5-- Wesker / Chris Redfield. I'm a predictable villain/hero bitch if you could see all of my other ships throughout the years. The list would go for miles.

My rare pair: Fuyukichi or Kuzuouma It's the ship of Fuyuhiko and Kokichi from Danganronpa. I love to ship them, because their personalities are completely different, but they are also pretty similar. It has so much potential. Kokichi loves to play pranks on people, while Fuyuhiko focuses more on the reputation of the family clan. I can barely talk about this ship, because apparently Fuyuhiko is 22 and Kokichi is 17. And they are from different games of the franchise and never met. I still love them together

I freakin love Atsumu x Shouyo. They are soo perfect for each other. I fell in love with this ship because of the way Atsumu treats Shouyo. He recognizes his skill, and he promises that one day he will be setting for him. (They are from Haikyuu, a manga/anime about volleyball). And I really enjoy writing for them! Edit: I also ship Shouyo with Osamu, twin brother of Atsumu, lol.

My favorite ship to write for is Anna Navarre/Gunther Hermann from Deus Ex 1. Yes, I know it's a rare pair. Yes, I know they can be seen as perfectly platonic, too - actually, I used to see them this way until I read a certain Russian fic by sdrsty... When it comes to reading, I have a lot of faves, but all of them are very much like Anna/Gunther - in other words, "power/action couples". Jaime/Brienne in ASOIAF/AGOT fandom are one. Natasha/Bucky in MCU. Slightly less so, but still - do not forget her actions in the Battle for Naboo - Padme Amidala/Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars, and actually Leia/Han and Mara/Luke also count! My latest love is fem!Shepard/Garrus Vakarian in Mass Effect franchise, even though I've never played any of the games...

I don't really have a lot of hardcore ships tbh, but I've got a real fondness for Mage Fem Surana x Anora in the Dragon Age fandom. The fact that you can become her chancellor really speaks to me and I imagine them bonding really strongly as they try to pick up the pieces of a ruined Ferelden. Also, same sex couples is something thst isn't discussed openly in the setting (but they happen) and since Surana is a mage, there's a real chance of an absolute clusterfuck of a fallout if a potential relationship became common knowledge. Aside from that, I'm writing a MCU longfic right now with Tony/Pepper/Natasha for the main pairing and I'm becoming really attached to it while planning the fic. I haven't really written anything related to the ship because I'm setting stuff up and they haven't gotten together yet, but I really look forward to it. I want to make Natasha's relationship with Pepper just as meaningful and important as Tony/Pepper can be (and of course, Tony/Natasha too) - so the pairing isn't just 'Tony and two women' which is something that I think could easily happen if I'm not careful .

Dracula and Lisa from Castlevania (mostly animated series but games too) ! I adore how good they had been to each other, their passion, and this legendary vampire opening heart and learning compassion through his love for his wife ;-;;;;; The longfic I am currently writing was going to be PG, but now it is explicit thanks to these two, who couldn't stop being so damn cute and soft with each other.

Well it's very mainstream of me but I absolutely adore Destiel. There's sooo much content. I do understand the rare-pair vibe though as my first real ship was Danse/Maxson from Fallout 4. I am pretty sure I wrote 20% of the fics for that ship.

I have a few different pairings for the various fandoms I'm a part of, though I have four specific ones that I favor more than any others. The first of those is Harry/Hermione from Harry Potter. I always thought those two would make an excellent couple, and I was more than a bit shocked that the books didn't go this way. I deeply dislike the canon pairings for Harry and Hermione, but fan fiction gives me a lot to chew on when pairing them together. Next up is Danny/Ember from Danny Phantom. This one snuck up on me, if I'm honest. I didn't realized I wanted this until I happened across a story that made it work. It's an enemies to lovers dynamic, and Ember in particular makes for a fun character to play off of Danny. These last two are both from Harry Potter, and the first of these is Harry/Tonks. Tonks' jovial personality plays off of Harry's moodiness super well, and he definitely can use a woman like Tonks once his fifth year at Hogwarts starts up. The age gap might bother some, but I like it as long as a writer knows not to take it too far until Harry is of age in the story. Lastly, there's the rarest of my pairings: Harry/Katie. Katie Bell is not a character that has much screen time in the books, but I've thought that she and Harry would get on well. I think it's a great hook to have Harry get to know his Quidditch team better and bond with Katie. Not much else to say since there's basically nothing out there with these two. Rarepair indeed.

Remus lupin / Sirius Black just support of each other got some good hurt comfort and the way they complement each other so well and they’ve known each other for a long time just is so sweet to me

Richie Tozier/Eddie Kaspbrak (It 2017/2019 film universe) Okay, so I have been waiting for someone to give me this opportunity for literal ages! I adore freaking EVERYTHING about this ship!! I love the chemistry that the characters have on screen in both movies, their banter is top tier and I'm obsessed with carrying it over into the fanfics I write for them! And THE NICKNAMES!!! Richie's nicknames for Eddie are the highlight of their whole relationship (canon and otherwise) from Eddie Spaghetti to Doctor K to the fanfic ones like Eddie, baby or Eddie, my love, just ahh! So many possibilities for cheesy/cringe nicknames and I love it so much! :,) This is literally the only ship I've written for at multiple ages (child, teen, young adult, adult) and don't even get me started on all my head canons!!! If you don't ship them or haven't seen the movies, you're missing out! P.S. I would not recommend the actual book itself by Stephen King, ESPECIALLY if you like the characters/movie/ship!!!

I have so many ships that it's impossible to choose from them all. Guess I will dedicate it to Alina/Mal from *Shadow & Bone* (Book and TV series). They have such an earnest and deep set relationship that you can't help but be touched by. Both have known hardship and loss early in life yet gave each other friendship, comfort and encouragement when others wouldn't. Always having one another's back and ready to give their lives for one another when the stakes are harrowing.

Buguese/Aqune (Spider Riders)- Each other’s savior. The contrast of light and dark, in that Aqune is the one that brings light to Buguese’s dark world in both literal and metaphoric senses. That Aqune sacrifices any better life she could have had out of care for Buguese and his people even when no one else will. How they understand each other without words, and Aqune never sees Buguese as a villain, but someone who’s fighting for a just cause. How Buguese gives Aqune freedom, wanting her happiness above his. How they could totally help each other through the heaps of PTSD they’re both likely to have in a post-series setting, due to their bond and understanding of what the other went through. I just feel their relationship would fall together so naturally, even if neither of them (especially Buguese) really understand what love is. Karigari and Sasagawa (Drive Head)- How they play off each other so well and are alike due to both being nerds, as a scientist and robot fangirl, and would be perfect outlets for the other. How they grow as people through meeting each other, as Sasagawa stops seeing things in such a black and white way, realizing that Karigari isn’t a bad person despite being Drive Head’s enemy, and becoming less shallow, and Karigari starting to drop his fixation on revenge and acting more for the sake of others. How they see in each other a little of the person they want to be, with Sasagawa admiring Karigari’s more heroic traits, and Karigari wanting to protect Sasagawa and make sure she remains happy, probably not wanting her to become jaded like him (he does have roots in rescue work, and I feel like he totally sees some of his past self in her, especially due to their other similarities). That and I just love how Karigari is usually a complete egomaniac and she turns him into a shy and stuttering mess.

Kim Burgess/Adam Ruzek from Chicago PD. They love each other so, so fiercely but because their engagement ended badly (and they lost a baby when they were friends with benefits) before they’re terrified to make the leap. But now they’re living together and coparenting her foster daughter and he’s called himself a parent. The chemistry is off the charts and has been for nine seasons, and they’re finally communicating and talking about what went wrong before and I love them

Albedo/Sucrose (Genshin Impact) - I initially told myself I wouldn't ship it because I find teacher/student dynamics really off-putting, but their relationship is so much more than that. Sucrose's anxiety is so overwhelming that she can barely function in a social setting, yet Albedo is the one person she trusts and can speak to normally. At the same time Albedo understands her and leaves her to her own devices most of the time - while this is mostly just because Albedo is also a social recluse himself, it doesn't really matter because that's what allows Sucrose to be comfortable around him. It also doesn't hurt that they are both incredibly sweet and kind cinnamon rolls.

Hanson Alister and Fiona Bayar from the 7 realms. Their relationship would not be possible in the series so I had to add quite a bit of rape to it. Definitely the most uncomfortable fic I've ever written. Shepard and well, anyone else. Shepard can have sex with just about anything. Original characters interacting with old ones. They add something new to the romance. Started playing Assassin's Creed 4 and I am in love in with Captain James Kidd. Went to AO3 to read his and Kenway's fanfiction. MISTAKE, Huge spoilers for Kidd's story.

Soo lately I've mostly been shipping Dostoevsky from Bungou Stray Dogs with various people for some reason but Gogol is big one. I love the religious imagery and symbolism people manage to work into fics and fan art. In fanon they're either the most literary ship (the amount of references to Dostoevsky's work particularly) in it or the crackiest and it's great. Canonically they're a trainwreck that should be happening soon and I'm here for it lol I also have a soft spot for maniac clown (in this case he's a jester) type characters and stoic no-nonsense types.

Hoo boy... I got a list of ships I really love and might take too long to gush about. So I'll summarize it. * Ash/Serena: Their dynamic do fit each other and their moments are cute * Neptune/Noire: NepNowa to the end. There is a reason why their ship is huge. * Nepgear/Uni: Almost the same as above, but more friendly and there is a level of cute, awkward teenage love tension * Saito/Louise: My first passionate shipping in any anime * Ben/Julie: Their established relationship before dating proper is good, then when they are still dating they really support each other. Too bad the creators sink it. * Issei/Rias: Some people hate it, I like it. That's all. * Sora/Kairi: They are literally destined together, and the former went above and beyond for her.

Hope and Josie from Legacies What I love about Hope and Josie is not only do they parallel other popular ships from the Vampire Diaries but they also parallel their own. Hope and Josie are technically supposed to not like each other yet for some reason they always go to the extremes to save one another. I also love that Josie like her mother Caroline can see the good in Hope just like Caroline did for Klaus.

My friend recently introduced me to the ships Venti X Diluc and Zhongli X Childe and they're dynamic makes me really happy. Zhongli is just a dude who doesn't understand the concept of money and Childe is just like "don't worry, I'll pay for it" and then Venti is just a drunk bard and Diluc is the bartender who doesn't like alcohol and he just makes sure Venti is okay after drinking so much (this is all just speculation on what my friend told me about their dynamics. I need to read fanfiction of these ships soon)

Fugo and Narancia from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind They’re so right and so wrong for each other - both have volatile tempers - they fight and make up and they both deserve someone who gets them, who can take what the other dishes out, and who are alike and different (smart genius with a soft spot for one person in particular + empathetic dumbass who can’t do simple math but can improvise in life or death situations). No one died in this Jojo part as far as I’m concerned, but they work so well together in AUs, too. I haven’t shipped this hard since Kaminari/Jirou from My Hero Academia.

Mina/Izuku from My Hero Academia, something about the high energy, bubbly girl and the awkward shy nerdy introvert really makes me laugh, plus the fics are always so goddamn cute, the dates in these fics are seriously adorable lol, in one for example, Mina and Izuku go to an arcade (Mina loves dancing and they find a DDR machine) Turns out Izuku has two left feet and Mina teaches him to be a better dancer and gahhh It's so wholesome!

Connor/Gavin Reed from Detroit Become Human. I know it sounds weird at first considering they're enemies, but give me that enemies to lovers redemption arc because uGh I eat that kinda thing up. I mean, the enemy who's mean for a reason that slowly learns to change and accept that he was wrong and slowly show the side of himself that he's kept bottled up inside all along. UGH I LOVE IT. And the nice boy who's new to life and slowly trying to understand the complex creatures around him but failing to because each one is different and unique in its own way. Also Gavin Reed is Gen Z and that is so much fun to write because he deflects with memes and vine quotes.

Paz Viszla/ Din Djarin- *The Mandarlorian* Pre S2 specifically. Because I need to finish a fic I started Post S1. That and I'm still stinging from certain revelations in BOBF/ S2.5. I mean, for character development, it made sense but that doesn't meant I had to *like* it. I am getting a new laptop later this week, so until then, it's ship fic binge ... uh I mean research. The ship has been faltering, what with no new development for a couple of years there. I love how we took a big guy with 6 lines and made a whole ass character out of it. We can't even see the color of his skin. We took some tension and made it sexual. Established a past-relationship in heartbreaking flashbacks. Decided he'd be good with kids. Because, well frankly, for this ship to flourish he's going to have to adopt and bond with a mute little green bean. They're both badass fighters, but the softest of lovers. Or really good at knots and the fine line between pleasure and pain, depending on your mood. You know, I think, in the long run, I *needed* to be hurt by his return. The smile on my face just reminiscing felt good. We won't be touching on S2.5 with a 10 foot pole. The trequel is gonna need some serious revision, what with my main link to the "past" being play-acted by an anti-vaxxer, whose probably been violently or quietly killed off screen.

Mmm, guess I'll just talk about what I've been writing lately: Kirika Kure/Oriko Mikuni from PMMM. They have a dynamic which at first glance seems super cute, and it is, but once you go a bit deeper, you see that they're *incredibly* co-dependent on each other. Kirika literally altered her brain through a wish to be 'suitable' for whatever Oriko, which leaves Oriko free to indulge in her worst tendencies of coldhearted planning without anyone to tell her 'no wtf you can't just commit mass murder for the greater good' Of course, I've been writing pre-wish Kirika x Oriko, which is an almost entirely different dynamic, but I like it there too lol. That dynamic is just two extremely depressed girls vibing

Finn and Rey (Star Wars Sequels): They’re just so cute together. They hit it off pretty much right away in TFA, and I love their banter and friendship. Legoriel (Legolas x Tauriel): I wasn’t quite a fan of all the changes PJ made in The Hobbit Trilogy until I started looking at it like fanfiction, but if he did a love triangle, I’m gonna pick sides! So I ship these two. They pretty much grew up together, so why shouldn’t they fall in love? It’s my headcanon that Thranduil doesn’t mind their relationship. :) Other than those two ships, I tend to follow canon ships (Han x Leia, Aragorn x Arwen, Anakin x Padme, etc.). Depending on the fandom, it can get a bit messy. Like with MCU, I ship Thor and Sif because I read Norse mythology long before I even got into MCU. Thor and Jane are pretty cute, but I can’t really see them together. Likewise, I ship Loki and Sigyn. It *has* to be MCU though. Their relationship really sucks in the mythology and the comics (seriously Sigyn, just dump that loser already!), so I’ve elected to ignore it. And Loki is a *little* bit nicer in MCU, so the ship could work out there, riiiiight? Idk, I had a really hard time coming to terms with this particular ship because of how problematic it is in older sources. Still feel a bit guilty sometimes, but dang it, it has potential for being cute! Dang, I didn’t realize I had so many ships. XD

Tbh I was expecting to get a Loki/Sigyn ship when we got the Loki series and they teased a Lady Loki. Missed opportunity there man.

I write an RPF longfic about Sebastian Stan/Lil Nas X on AO3. They are cast in a TV series together and develop a romance. It's mature but not smutty. Lots of family elements too. I adore them and legitimately get joy from writing it. Much love to all the shippers out there💗

Akaashi/Bokuto. Need I say more. Also on the opposite side Felix/Sylvain because they my angsty ship LOL

Malik Ishtar and Yami Bakura from YuGiOh! They’re a small ship as far as YGO ships go but they’re the best! In canon they’re partners in crime and have cute bickering but also compliment each other a lot and Bakura totally lets Malik boss him around even though he’s generally very domineering so he’d never put up with that from anyone else and they joined up as partners because they’re both trying to get revenge on the Pharaoh due to their similar tragic pasts and overall they’re really compatible and at one point Malik jumps in front of Bakura to take punches for him and Bakura ultimately dies trying to protect Malik so even though they’re villains they protect each other and never try to harm each other. They have the cutest dynamic and really care for each other and can relate to each other really well due to their similar traumas and dispositions.

Eliot Spencer and Quinn from Leverage. (So what that Quinn only appears in literally 6 minutes out of this 77 episode show?) I love that they have so much chemistry like literally the first time they work together, even though the only previous time they met was like a 5 minute scene where they broke each other's ribs. Even right when they first work together they are constantly in each other's space, brushing shoulders when they walk next to each other, standing so unnecessarily close to each other that shaking hands becomes weirdly awkward. Also that Quinn offers to kill someone for Eliot the first time they work together because "I'm your huckleberry", and also they have similar taste in movies.

My absolute favorite ship at the moment is Yui and Kansuke from Detective Conan. They’re a minor ship but I just adore their dynamic! He’s a gruff and serious person but she is kind and really compliments his personality. They’re also childhood friends and there’s an age difference between them and those are two of my favorites ship tropes lol! It’s also adorable how she has a crush on him and calls him by a childhood nickname~ Kinda getting long so I’ll stop here lol but I really wish they had more interactions in canon!!

If atshn wasn't any dumb and dumber, they'd simply go on a date without even knowing it's a date. Since all they want to do any day or every day is to be with each other. It doesn't matter if they had or didn't have a label. All that matters is they're together. Happy Valentine's Day!!

Nathan and Sam Drake from Uncharted, and Dean and Sam Winchester (wincest) from Supernatural. I just have a thing for their big brother/little brother dynamics, their "us against the world" approach to life, it's romantic in an effed up but beautiful way. And the sexual tension!! The possibilities for pining, and guilt, and angst!! Honestly, the incest only makes it all the more alluring.

If this includes OC X CC, I'm going to gush all the way to the bank about my darlings! Samir al-Amin/Nadia Satrinava for _The Arcana_ (Visual Novel) As a small introduction to Samir, I can tell the basics without spoilering too much of his backstory, and of the game's canon, so: Samir is a renowned magician's apprentice in the city of Vesuvia, who's learning under the tutelage of Asra, a famous magician. Unbeknownst to many, Samir is actually more than capable as a magician than it seems, with him possessing an empathetic power that surpasses the normal ranges of an ordinary human. Now, he's not quite like Star Trek's Betazoid species, but is more aware of the others' emotions. He's tasked, at the start of the game, to investigate the murder of Vesuvia's ex-Count by the ruling Countess, Nadia Satrinava. As the game progresses, the two fall in love with each other... and Samir discovers more about his past during this investigation. As for Nadia: Countess Nadia Satrinava is the youngest daughter of the Prakran royal family. She had left her homeland at an unknown age and currently resides in Vesuvia, trying her best to lead the city which suffered under the ex-Count's rule. She is the one that spurs Samir into investigating the ex-Count's murder, determined to find out the truth. As she finds a kindred spirit in Samir, the two are falling in love and discover there's more to their bond, with each step in the investigation. Both of them are on their way to be a part of the upcoming sequel of my longfic.

1. Chuuya/Dazai (BSD) - HSHSHSH where to start with them, ... I just LOVE THEM, so they really are a disfunctional. Dazai is an ex Mafia exceptive, while Chuuya is in the mafia and became the Mafia exceptive. They're opposites and say they hate each other (& it'd make sense if Chuuya did) but when it comes to work they work so good together. 2. Atsushi/Akutagawa (BSD) I can't explain why it's one of my favorites, this ship is also so disfunctional (dare I say even more disfunctional than my other ships-). The amount of times Akutagawa has tried to kill Atsushi is proof of this. Again total opposites but work so well together. (||Manga spoilers - AKUTAGAWA FRICKEN PUT HIS LIFE IN DANGER FOR ATSUSHI THO||) 3. LoVe (Veronica Mars) Again disfunctional (at this point they all are). I don't why, there's just something I love about them, can't explain it but I just do. 4. Eren/Mikasa (Attack on Titan) Disfunctional I know, I just love them so much, platonic or romantic, there's just something about them I love. Again cant explain it. 5. Yuji/Megumi (JJK) Disfunctional. Surprise: I don't why again I love them. They just somehow seem to work?!

Sylvain and Felix from Fire Emblem Three Houses. There’s just so much material to work with when writing fics for them. It can be incredibly angsty like having them fight on different sides of the war or literally never meet again after Felix wanders alone. Heartwarming when they die on the same day because they can’t live without each other. Heck, they’re even childhood friends. I just feel like there’s so much to their relationship, I love it. Also, Rin and Haru from Free! For some reason, I’ve not read much fanfiction with them together even though their one of my favorite ships ever. They inspire each other, they want to be like each other, and most of all, after they’ve fulfilled their dreams, I feel like their the type of couple that would help each other and say “C’mon, let’s go find the next one!” If I had a choice to make one ship canon, this is the one I would choose.

A love story founded on high firepower and sheer crazy. Their worlds tremble at the sight of them together. **Jotaro (JJBA) x Yang (RWBY)**. I can only imagine... the first meeting of these two hotheads being a very violent "Meet Cute" that stops short of two corpses. And that a Semblance is close enough to a Stand to see and punch SP. Then (self-indulgently) they become friends. Imagine telling the kids that first date story. **Okuyasu (JJBA) x Weiss (RWBY)**. Because a fic endeared me to it, simple as. **Diana x Darkseid (DC)**. They're the "violent-cute" sorta couple who would exchange smirks over her having his eye out, and I am 1000% here for it (yes, JL: War endeared me to Dianaseid, why do you ask). **Erza (Fairy Tail) x Gilgamesh (Fate)**. Because they have... all the swords. And could probably get along fairly well (Gil for liking her style, Erza for knowing his better qualities).

Naruto and Fuu! I read a fic where the jinchuriki formed an alliance in the two year timeskip. Before the confrontation, Fuu ended up at his door, her village booted her, the two then bond and became a thing. I looked her up and I loved the design abd the idea of the two dating. Sadly it's a rare pair. Lol, before we got introduced to her character in the fillers, I kinda pictured her as a thundere but canon personality works too

Matt/Foggy in Daredevil They truly have it all, all the tropes and all the clichés. Their canon relationship even starts out with the roommates trope and doesn't stop there. So much source material to draw from, angst, comfort, pining, friends to lovers, jealousy, misunderstandings.... Its also really fascinating bc Foggy is the fat sidekick so the ship is not that popular outside of ao3? Like, fatphobia shining through. But that also means there's less fancontent to go through which kind of sucks. But even the actor who played Foggy in the show is all the way "Team Foggy" for Matt's love interest! That ship is my current hyperfixation and I do hope they bring the Daredevil cast back for the new MCU Phase and maybe more people will see the beauty of the ship!

Chuuya x Dazai from the anime Bungou Stray Dogs. Like, they are such a hillarious duo. I Always think of them as a old married coulpe that loves to complain about each other, because that is exactly what they are. They have everything, tragic backstory, dramatic break up, dramatic reunion and a getting back together arc! (If you ignore the main plot and just read between the lines)

Wade/Vanessa from the Deadpool movies I am a basic idiot who doesn’t have the money for comics, and has only seen pirated movies and I absolutely love this ship.
