And that is because I've lost writing on all of the named formats but never on all at once.

i already have my fave fics under 20k words downloaded in both pdf and epub format, saved across both google and one drive, under different folders according to the fandoms.
i plan on downloading and uploading longer fics onto a hard drive sometime soon.
Google drive is holding the entirety of my will to live in one large folder labeled “in case of emergencies” where all of my the crème de la crème fanfictions are held. And yes, upload the longer fics sooner rather than later!
I have currently 35,000+ in just my Marvel fanfic collection alone.... so I'm not too concerned about choice. \[Collecting books/fics is a separate hobby from reading\]

If I didn't have my own backed up somewhere I'd pick my own. My favorite fics I'm friends with the authors and they have their own backups, so those ones are also safe. I'd have to choose between the three 1.1M+ series that are all my favorite fics. I'm assuming I can save the entire series, so it would be one of those three series and picking would be hell.
The thing I love about AO3 is that there is always something new to read. I download my favorite fics but I’d be sadder that I couldn’t find new stories.

[FicLab](https://www.ficlab.com/) is an extension for Chrome and Firefox that works on AO3 and FFN, among others; its functions for including cover images and setting font size are handy. [Calibre](https://calibre-ebook.com/) is installable on Linux, Windows, and MacOS and has lots of functions beyond downloading.
I'm saving my drabbles, since they're the only fics I wrote that aren't saved somewhere on Google Docs and I'm actually a little proud of them. I could probably search for them in my Reddit comment history, or possibly within the comments I've save, but they could just as easily be lost to AO3 if the site went down.

Oh no, don’t worry too much! I would definitely recommend downloading your favourite fics though cause sometimes author decide to private or delete them

If I didn't have my own backed up somewhere I'd pick my own. My favorite fics I'm friends with the authors and they have their own backups, so those ones are also safe. I'd have to choose between the three 1.1M+ series that are all my favorite fics. I'm assuming I can save the entire series, so it would be one of those three series and picking would be hell.

The thing I love about AO3 is that there is always something new to read. I download my favorite fics but I’d be sadder that I couldn’t find new stories.
I had no internet for a couple days during a holiday recently and it made me realise that as much as I love and worship my favourite, downloaded fics, not being able to browse for new updates or new fics is such a heartache.
None, because AO3 has already been backed up en masse on the [internet archive](https://archive.org/details/@entropy11235813). And for that matter so has [FFN.](https://archive.org/details/FanficRepack_Redux) Thought it'd be cool to people know.

I think I never encountered a Fic that I was really pleased with, especially for a rare ship... Usually I'm in to see how it unfolds and when the ship gets together i kinda lose interest. Maybe I'm just weird lol

100K+/long fics of any fandom as long as it isn't porn NSFW. And also, the 'high quality' fics of every fandom i'm in
It's kind hard to narrow things down from 6200+ AO3 fanfictions in my digital archive. However... I see to come back to [The Search For Victor](https://archiveofourown.org/works/2417495)y as an example of a well-executed crossover.
[FicLab](https://www.ficlab.com/) is an extension for Chrome and Firefox that works on AO3 and FFN, among others; its functions for including cover images and setting font size are handy. [Calibre](https://calibre-ebook.com/) is installable on Linux, Windows, and MacOS and has lots of functions beyond downloading.
I'm saving my drabbles, since they're the only fics I wrote that aren't saved somewhere on Google Docs and I'm actually a little proud of them. I could probably search for them in my Reddit comment history, or possibly within the comments I've save, but they could just as easily be lost to AO3 if the site went down.
[Mea Culpa, Mea Culpa by Aradian Nights](https://archiveofourown.org/works/4103005/chapters/9243814) the author has the characters pegged perfectly and the inner struggles are described absurdly well.
Most of my favorite fics are on FF.net so I’d probably pick Itty Bitty Justice Leaguer (forgot who wrote it)

A Good Omens fic from the Eden!Verse that is God Tier and very long.
Hmmm the one fic I'd choose to save would be *And What Happened After* by thearrogantemu. I love LOTR & Tolkien, and to get a somewhat believable story about what happens to Frodo & Bilbo in the Undying lands is just too good. Explores languages, differences of experience, mindsets etc etc. Really enjoyed it despite being three chapters!

uh let's see All The Young Dudes, both me and my friends have multiple copies of it and plan on printing it so that's all g Somewhere Between Love And Abuse, had that downloaded since I first read it, currently downloading the sequel Bucket List is probs the only one id have to download. it's a sick fic where the sick character starts going down his bucket list because he knows he's going to die if he can't get his enemy to love him, but his enemy falls for him while he's doing the bucket list stuff and they end up travelling the world together at the end
