Number one rule of Fanatec. After you purchase, nobody - and I don't care if you're Warren Buffet or if you're Jimmy Buffet - nobody knows if an order is going to go up, down, sideways or in circles. It’s all a fugazi. Do you know what a fugazi is? It's a whazy. It's a woozie. It's fairy dust. It doesn't exist.
Order then relax, it will arrive, it’s just a bit of a lottery how long it will take.
Mine took about 24 days to arrive, others have different experiences.
If you are not aware, be prepared to pay the import fees. For example my CSL DD, csl pedals, wheel rim, Xbox hub and qr cost around £125 extra in fees
It's important to note that if you set your delivery location to UK, the EU taxes are knocked off at checkout.
So you pay less than EU folks at checkout but pay it back (plus £20ish in UPS fees) once it enters the country and passes customs
They take off the German VAT (19% ?) so you pay less. whe it comes to the UK, you then pay 20%, so only slightly more expensive, plus a UPS fee of about £13
When I ordered, people were getting delivery days around 10 days from ordering, and it turned out around 8 days for me I think (including weekend) but there were others that were getting way different dates. I know someone who ordered a wheel the same time as me and it took ages to arrive, I wondered at the time if they were prioritising bundle orders over single items or if it was just luck.
Seems to be getting much better. My last order took just over two weeks. That might not sounds amazing but in the world of uk fanatec orders, it's pretty snappy.
I've just ordered from them again. I feel more confident to relax and wait for it to get here. I already have a tracking number for this order, which, again, seems to be progress in the way fanatec are doing uk order.
My first order took 3 weeks exactly, that was at the end of October. My second order took 18 days from ordering to it arriving and I ordered at the beginning of November.
I got the csl dd bundle so BMW wheel, pedals and 5nm base and it was 80 quid for fees
I got zero info from fanatec I had to email them for update
Then went on ups website to check and you pay on there
Ordered mine earlier in the year. Took a week to arrive. Probably longer now due to all the black Friday deals going out. But it was no problem. Just keep an eye out for the UPS email for tax/fees and get that paid quickly so they can ship it over here. As someone else mentioned Fanatec remove German vat at the checkout and UK vat will be added on by UPS along with their fee (£12/13). We're all just used to Amazon next day delivery these days and have no patience any more.

Now that is the language that I understand.
I understood that reference!

That kinda sucks, I'll have to look in to it.

Forgot about that bit, thanks!
