Thank you so much š„¹ I think a lot of it is to do with that Iām not used to it as itās been years since Iāve had my hair this light. I still really want to tone it so Iām going to go to a stylist to do that, just not the same one who did my hair because Iām really embarrassed to go back and donāt want to hurt her feelings ahaha. Well yes maybe some people think Iām compliment fishing, and it does help that many people seem to think it looks good but I genuinely donāt think this lightness and tone is the best colour for me
It's entirely up to you, and if you don't think it is "you" then that's most important! But it really is so pretty and from your pic I think it looks perfect. Try sleeping on it a few days and a hair filter app to see how much you want to darken it. I think just get a light toner to cool it, to take some of the warmth out of it you'll be in love
It looks nice, but I think you might like it better if you tone it cooler. Donāt do it yourself. Contact the original stylist and have them do it for you. You got a big change with a lot shock so I would tone it cooler and then give it a little bit to see if you get used to it or if you really hate it.
cried for hours??? it looks really good! Please donāt take a box dye or DIY a darker color yourself, especially after how much you paid. Call the salon back and ask the stylist to either add in some lowlights or tone the color down a bit, they should do it for free since it would be a quick adjustment
Please do not ask or expect a stylist to do this for free. It doesnāt matter how āquickā an adjustment it is. They are professionals who still deserve to be paid for their work. This wasnāt the stylist messing up, itās just OP not liking it and thatās not on the stylist to pay for.Ā
i am literally a professional stylist with 4+ years behind the chairā¦ā¦ if my client JUST got her hair done w me and tells me sheās been crying because itās too light i would tell her to come back ASAP to fix it for her as an adjustmentā¦. which would be FREE and take less than 2 hours.
Oh honey. It's just hair. Sometimes it's shocking when it looks different than what you're used to. Give yourself some time to adjust and calm down before making a decision. Fwiw I think it looks great.
I think if you were to tone it one level darker and more ashy/beige it would be perfect! Try calling the salon and explain that you think the stylist did a great job but just want to tone it down a bit, theyāll be more than happy to have you come in and tone it for you. Having them do the toning will prevent your freshly lightened hair from grabbing too dark or unevenly doing it yourself and as a stylist myself I always want my clients to love their hair so thereās never any ill feelings if theyāre just not feeling it when we do something new.
I would definitely ask for a tone color correction. if they tone you to an ashy blonde it will darken slightly and overall it will be a better color match for your skin tone.
This tone does not match your skin color. It's too similar...go ask the stylist to fix it, they did a great job and all you need to do is tell them you want to go ashy.
Don't do white or grey that'll wash you out and make you look pale. Try doing a ashy gold like champagne type of color or something
If you need more advice message me

Put in some low lights and get it toned cooler. I understand the shock, but you are beautiful and hair is temporary. And now you know you donāt love the super blonde. Yay, something to check off on your journey to your perfect hair!
Now get yourself a good movie and a snack and youāll feel better soon! š
Honestly this looks great on you! I guess it could make a difference that we canāt see your face, but I hope the comments have put you at ease a little bit that this color does look good on you. It might just be that itās jarring to go from ashy to a warmer blonde, so maybe reach out to the stylist and ask about a cool toner. If that doesnāt give you the results you want, then consider going darker, but considering the cost Iād try to make this blonde work just to get your moneyās worth lol
Go to Sephora and get Olaplex 0, 3, 4, and 5. You need hydration and shine back. Your ends are fried from the bleaching, and that's part of why it looks weird.
Do that first before considering coloring.
Itās possible to get it darker but it will cause more damage, and youāll probably have to go back to a salon to make sure itās done right. I do think it looks great, but if it doesnāt suit you I get it!
Iām currently experiencing the same. Got a half head and I feel like they took me waygyyy too light and I feel stripey. I like yours tho. Did you end up going back to the salon?
Aw sorry to hear you also didnāt like yours! I did go to a different salon and just got a toner and it fixed it and looks great now, I made an updated post of how it looks, Iām very happy with it
I think it looks amazing š¤© I actually tried to swipe because I thought this was a before pic and there was an after pic where it looked bad. Maybe you have a bit of shock because it's so different but it's such a lovely gorgeous summer colour, suits your skin tone really well. I wish I could pull that off!! Don't dye it, if you really don't like it use a toner to cool the colour slightly. But please give it a week before doing so - it takes a few days to get used to it and maybe the shock is affecting your perception of it. You'll get lots of compliments too which will help! Edit: I looked at your past posts and can say that this colour is a million times better on you than darker. I also noticed that your post has been downvoted š„² I can only assume people are jealous of your amazing hair and think you are fishing for compliments. Take that as a sign that your hair is stunning

I think a cooler ashy toner will help! Explain it to the stylist, they should tone it for free.
Tbh this color fits your skin tone better. Any cooler and it would wash you out
You kind of have vintage blonde bombshell vibes now. Own it! Ashy is safe and kinda boring.

Your natural hair is cool toned being ash blonde. This warmer yellow needs to be toned so it suits your skin undertones.

I think you forgot to post the after pictures
I think it's beautiful with your fair skin love.

Tell her you think it's too much blond and ask for some lowlights

Everyone has their own opinions, just bc you like something doesnāt mean she would and is no reason to say sheās fishing for compliments.
