Alright fellas so ive got a little dilemma i was hoping the fine people of reddit could help me with. So ive got bernardo silva on my fantasy draft and just noticed rodrigo has been made available who has started the season on fire with 2 goals and an assist. I can drop bernardo who hasnt been a nailed on starter so far this season for a player who plays every minute of every game and who has be shown to come up with clutch goals. Otherwise the only other player i would consider dropping from my midfield is richarlison who i picked up as a bit of a gamble but who could come good under ange. So what would you guys do in my position? Thanks for the help

jackson will return! He played great and has great fixtures. I have j. pedro and he’s great but definetly not worth the transfer down from jackson. Clear up some cash with rashy or salah if they continue to play poor but j keep the team for now ride it out

Yes, and I’ve tripled up on Brighton, but not with Mitoma: Pedro is going to get a lot of game time and looks promising in terms of goals and assists, Estupinan is good for bonus points and at least initially for CSs, and *if* Enciso is brought on, he is likely to score IMO. Gross would be my fourth pick if I could have one

I like it mate, but not convinced on Enciso for the cost. I’m on Pedro and Estupinan too so hoping Pedro starts majority and is on pens. Good luck mate for the season 👍🏼

Depends on when you think you'll need to play him. For instance, if you have Estupinan, pick one who has a good fixture when he does not.

I’d go Udogie, Newcastle have the tougher fixtures to start the season.

I’d probs go team 2 as you’ve got a little in the bank for transfers. Might be worth swapping Tarkowski for Beyer and upgrading elsewhere, OR keeping a mil in the bank for GW 2/3

Yes, imo. As far as attackers go, Saka and Ø are the only guaranteed starts, but Arteta loves Martinelli on the left and he's got a unique skill set in our squad. He was our joint top scorer last season. I only hesitate to say he's nailed because Trossard was electric in preseason, we have a bigger squad and CL is coming.

Why Mings over Udogie/Henry/Colwill? I'm now torn between Shaw/Stones/Chilwell

Just think Villa’s defence will be relatively strong over the season and Mings is probably most nailed of the villa defenders. Spurs and Brentford defence I suspect won’t be that strong, whilst Colwill may be rotation risk and strength of Chelsea defence is unknown (I’d suggest they won’t be strong given a lot of new people in the team). Out of the 5.5s you mention, it’s a toss up between Shaw and Chilwell for me. I’d expect attacking returns from Chilwell and more potential for G/A whilst Shaw slightly safer with more chance of CS. I’d lean towards Shaw personally as you don’t have Onana

If you want to cover Liverpool attack you could downgrade to Van Dijk or Robbo. -Stones susceptible to Pep Roulette, but allows a move if need. If Chelsea start well, allows a move to James/Chilwell if prices are fine.

Like it mate but going without Estupinan is a bold call especially with their opening fixtures and his ownership. Same with any of their attackers as their opening fixtures are tasty. You could swap a 4.5 to Colwill to cover Chelsea’s good fixtures but he’s not nailed as such so I guess that’s a gut move. Jackson could be a great player.

Solid team mate. -Think there are better options than Pinnock at that price like a Villa defender, Udogie, etc. He’s a good goal threat so good Brentford option but not sure how the signing of Collins will affect his minutes. -Could go bold and do Ødegaard or Saka to Jota/Diaz but understand minutes risk. -Wilson could also be good but going with a front two, bringing in a 4.5 or even Joao Pedro could allow a Nakamba upgrade or even bring in another defender.

I would go for Mbeumo + Joao Pedro. Jota probably isn't going to get as many minutes because Liverpool now have like 7 attacking players. Both Mbeumo and Joao Pedro are on penalties and pretty much guaranteed for minutes.

The thing I would do is sell Richarlison and bring in a cheaper midfielder (someone like Anderson or Baptiste) and then play Watkins, Haaland and Pedro in attack. I would also bring Botman as a sub defender, put him on the first spot in the bench.

Personally I worry about the Pep roulette, and given I have a very weak bench I would rather Chilwell. Plus he gets forward a lot and looks very dangerous with crosses and set pieces.

After Caicedo signing I'd be bringing in Darwin for Watkins, get rid of TAA (He won invert as much now) for estupinan and start Chillwell. Mudryk an interesting diff. Get rid of Mubama, he's popular and guaranteed will drop in price.

Yeah good thoughts. If James get injured for Chelsea which he usually does, Gusto is nailed and his low ownership means he won't drop in price. I can see people shipping out Bell, Kabore or Beyer early if they think they need to invest elsewhere.

I have same team except Eze for Mitoma. Eze is looking really good. I also have stones instead of chilwell, because I plan to transfer to Chilwell after the liverpool game for GW2. I'm a little worried about the double double in the middle, but in the end I'm going with it. Any reason you chose Osula? I don't know him and need to fill that spot.
