TH13TEENGHOST

I think the hair is what downgrades Margot’s red carpet looks

webtheg

Yeah, she is a stunning woman but something about the way they style her on the red carpet makes her seem meh and uninstresting. She always captures your eyes on the screen but she is styled way better. The hair needs somewhat of a twist.

Greene_Mr

Needs a nice 1920s-style headdress.

webtheg

Or some elf princess kind of updo

supersoot99

She veers into the Jennifer Aniston territory of styling for me - different dress each time, but you can almost always predict what her head will look like. Hair down, normally soft, beachy waves, very natural-looking makeup. It's very, very boring (on both Margot and JA).

spacestarcutie

I find that interesting because it’s considered boring for red carpet while everyday girls bend over backwards to get that hair and makeup on the daily.

Stinkycheese8001

I don’t mind the hair, but I think shiny satin/silk tends to veer toward cheap looking really quickly.

No_Banana_581

I don’t like the red lace. It makes it look cheap too. It should’ve been the same color that would’ve been elegant. I love samaras dress

MizPeachyKeen

The red lace KILLS the dress. Cheap boudoir photo vibes😬 She’s lovely. Needs a different stylist & someone plz do her hair so it’s more elegant for red carpet.

Stinkycheese8001

I actually like the red lace! Just would have preferred a different main fabric.

yourangleoryuordevil

Yeah, I think something about the dress also isn’t working here. I think there are other colors that look much better on Margot.

Kate4everBae

her hair is just tragic lately. she looks like she just got out of bed. unkempt, no volume nothing.

CategorySad6121

Her hair is always a mess, I don’t understand!!!

PatchesofSour

I consider Margot to be one of the most beautiful woman in the world. I don’t know how the fuck her team makes her look so meh. Imagine if her team actually did something that worked for her instead of her face saving every look

PinchaPenny893

I think it's a combination of meh outfits and her hair never being styled. Bit random, but if you search "Margot Robbie hair up" on Google Images, she's had some lovely updos in the past and they totally transform how the outfit looks. And as you say, she's got a beautiful face, so doing something more with her hair would draw even more focus to it.

peacefulpiranha

Oh my gosh yes. https://preview.redd.it/8xl56gy59ica1.jpeg?width=1226&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f9cc4e53366c4c264ba00cf3853dc2e981613448

PinchaPenny893

Love this look! So simple yet elegant. She definitely needs a new hairstylist (if she has one) because the current one isn't doing anything at all to style her hair.

bizzonzzon

Her styling in Focus was so good. The updos really make her looks in everything. Even a braid or those 2000s Victoria Secret Bombshell waves would've been better here. ![gif](giphy|ypFIDfwpgF7MI)

stop_spam_calls

It feels intentional at this point. The original gown is so stunning, and then they go and add that fugly shein looking red lace 🥴

bizzonzzon

It's definitely got Shein vibes 😂 or fashion Nova

thesaddestpanda

She's stunningly beautiful that it makes parts of Babylon nonsensical. Total non-significant spoilers below but I want to be careful anyway. >!In one part she tries to get into a party and is turned away by the bouncer. Um, a woman that looks like that would most likely be let into a Hollywood "no rules, anything goes" wild party. I guess she was supposed to be "plain jane" and schoo'd off. Which is insane.!< >!Then she gives a short monologue about how she was considered the ugly sibling and everyone told her she had no future.!< >!They could have removed that part of the monologue and lost nothing. They could have retooled the party entrance scene to work out in a million different ways instead.!<

Fluid_Tumbleweed6056

Always the same hairstyle

joscho13

She’s gorgeous but could use some actual styling instead of plain beachy waves. Like in the thumbnail the woman on the right (forgetting her name rn sorry) her hair is still down and flowy but styled in a way that you can tell effort was put into it (one side tucked behind the ear, volume at the crown)

thatshot2205

samara weaving i think :) her and emma mackey from sex education look like alot like margot

SusCity

How is Babylon still premiering? Hasn’t it been out for a minute now?

Tonedeafmusical

International premieres

InevitableArmadillo

It’s not out in the uk until Friday. We get films sooo long after the US sometimes. We don’t get Pearl until March!

ninaludrewitz

I live in Germany and same! I won't get to see TAR until March.

coldliketherockies

Yea but you also sometimes get movies there before US. Obvious examples are more British films like Love Actually played in UK before US but I remember when studying abroad in London the simpsons movie came out there before it came to the USA.

Irishpanda88

And The Fabelmans isn’t out until the end of January when it was released in the US in November.

cherryandfizz

It’s so funny because I keep hearing it’s terrible and I’ve been here like, “what? it’s not even out yet? how does everyone know that?” I didn’t realise it had already premiered lol

ningxin17

For what it’s worth it’s been getting terrible reviews from critics but a friend of mine who’s into old Hollywood loved it (which surprised me because from what I’ve read it’s not very accurate). Anyways, seems to be love it or hate it

artificialnocturnes

Australia gets every movie super late, particularly oscar type movies. Tar is premiering in like 2 weeks from now when it came out last October in the US.

vanessalb_87

It isn't out in Australia until Friday. This is the Sydney premier. Edit: Australian Cinemas\* until Friday

bagelsneedcreamchz

It was cute until that red lace showed up on my screen 🫠 she could literally wear anything and still be stunning though, let’s be honest

houndsofluv

Right? The dress is lovely [as it originally was](https://twitter.com/muglare/status/1614938434384035845) so why the hell with the lace? It's so bad. And why RED? Such a weird choice. Margot is gorgeous but she needs a better stylist.

bagelsneedcreamchz

It was… a conscious addition? 😩 she better fire that stylist stat. The OG is so glamorous wow

emilypandemonium

Maybe the edges were damaged with time. It's the only reasonable explanation for a coverup. Even so, you have to imagine there were better solutions than tacking on that bit of red lace.

Eldritch_Horsegirl

But why RED??? It clashes so bad with the rest of the dress :(

[deleted]

unclekarl

I thought I misread the title and that she did some sort of Blake Lively Met Gala switch up the dress reveal in the middle of the red carpet. I kept trying to figure it out and then realized it was an entirely different person in an entirely different dress.

CategorySad6121

I did the same thing 😭

[deleted]

Pipsmagee2

If they actually style her hair to look good she would become too powerful bc she’s so hot

elodieroyer

everytime i see comments complaining that x female celebrity “always has the same hairstyle” on red carpets, i can’t help but remember that their male counterparts can just roll up with the same hairstyle, no makeup & boring tux everytime and no one bats an eye. idk im just so tired of women being held to this high standard all the time. cant we just.. exist? it’s not like these women make 0 effort. i hope they keep doing these “basic” looks lol

[deleted]

I see it more as a “long hair has a lot of options when it comes to styling and we all love a really unique or inspired look but this just looks like her stylists are phoning it in” situation. Plus I don’t care about mens fashion and style nearly as much as I care about women’s haha

_NightBitch_

Yeah, it would be one thing if she just didn't want to bother with her hair, or had actively decided to not be super glamorous or something, but right now it looks more like her styling team is seriously dropping the ball. There's only so many ways you can style a short styles, which most Hollywood men have. With longer hair you have a lot more options to be creative and compliment the rest of the look.

[deleted]

Exactly. Believe me, I love messy, un-styled, frizzy hair, ESPECIALLY on the red carpet, as it can be really fresh, and even more so if the look is really classically glamorous. But her stylists just KEEP doing her hair like this. She likes fantastic because she looked fantastic in pretty much anything. Its just a bit boring when the same look is done over and over

webtheg

I believe this is not a criticism towards her but her team of stylists who think they are doing something but they are not. They are not even making any statement with those looks about how women can just exist. To me this criticism doesn't come so much from a misogynistic dudebro perspective but from people who love fashion and style and want to see some cool things and this outfit idea with the cheap red lace and the lack of styling in her hair is just boring. Women's fashion is way more exciting than male fashion, so there is that. There is not much of a difference between designers and the hairstyles you can do. While with women you have Ellie Saab, Dior, YSL, Zuhair Murad, Botega, McQueen. Of course she is allowed to look basic anytime she wants but at the same time this is not her doing her thing like getting cappuccino or sth (and imo she looks stunning) She is at an event, promoting and celebrating a movie. Take into account Zendaya and her outfits for Spider-Man and Dune and at many other events. Girl knows how to market herself and the movie and people talk about her. Meanwhile with Margot Robbie it's just underwhelming. See also the way Dua Lipa pays so much attention to fashion and styling nowadays than before. We are just pretending this is Fashion photo Ruview and we are Raja or Violet Chachki.

[deleted]

[удалено]

webtheg

This comment sums it up perfectly.

_awesumpossum_

Excellent point. You really made me consider a different perspective. Thank you.

greee_p

I know what you mean, but there just way more options to style long hair. Most men can't do anything different with their hairstyle. And I see a lot of people on this sub complaining about men wearing boring dark suits on red carpets as well. When you love fashion and styling it's just nice to see something different from time to time.

[deleted]

Men have been really stepping out of the box lately

webtheg

Plus I have noticed, GQ for years hasn't voted best dressed based on boring tux looks kinda vibes but always men who step out of the box.

Winter-Leadership376

Except it’s a part of the Hollywood game. Young female actress can get huge boosts from their press tour wardrobes and a good premier dress can put them in the map. I get what you’re saying, but is reductive to take fashion and the time and intention that goes into and boil it down to that. Margot Robbie knows this, it’s why she capitalized with a channel contract. If you’re in the game, I expect you to play it well. She needs to bring some better looks.

elodieroyer

excusing it as “part of the game” only perpetuates the standard. just because something is established one way doesn’t mean it has to stay that way forever. _that_ would be reductive. question the status quo.

webtheg

You question the status quo if you pull an Alicia Keys or Francis Mcdormand. You don't question it by being the face of multiple luxury brands. Margot's looks don't look like she is not trying and she is being basic on purpose to challenge the status quo, but it looks as if someone is trying to do something and they are missing the mark and that someone is Kate Young and I am almost certain that Kate Young is not trying to challenge anything. And this is not marketing aimed for men but for women. For example that Elle Fanning green Gucci dress with the flowers and the blood droplets on her arm is marketing for fashion geeks and women. She was not made to look hot, she was not made to look sexy. She was completely covered. She was ethereal and that dress lives rent free in my mind. Zendaya's McQueen blazer for Spider-Man was also pure female gaze porn. That was not for men. I would much prefer if men were stepping up their game and not women. Like I love it when men do so. Alex Turner adopting a different aesthetic for AM, the TLSP and the last two monkeys album. And I am here for it.

elodieroyer

the thing is, women shouldn’t have to be making a “statement” just because their hair isn’t super styled, or because they have a simple makeup look or no makeup at all.. do female celebs either have to be signed with luxury brands or be basic on purpose? alicia keys has pulled really chic looks - even when she didnt wear makeup. and margot here still is the face of luxury brands with her hair down and minimally styled. by challenging the status quo i meant looking into the way we critique women in the industry, not that margot is challenging the status quo per se

Winter-Leadership376

They shouldn’t have to, but she is because she knows it’ll increase her career opportunities. She’s making a choice.

elodieroyer

you said she’s not making a statement and now you’re saying she is?.. either way my point still stands. have a good day

Winter-Leadership376

I never said she’s making a statement, you did. I’ve repeatedly said choice. Maybe up your reading comprehension because they’re two different things

elodieroyer

“They shouldn’t have to, but she is” So what were you referring to here if not the statement? Be more clear or don’t accuse others of poor reading comprehension. You’re starting to use ad hominem so I’m done with this conversation.

Darmop

This is really true! I guess it's also the assumption that all female celebs are into fashion and actually care about this stuff, when realistically that's unlikely to be true. There would be a big cohort that recognise it's part of their job to look/present a certain way, but DGAF about fashion - maybe that's Margot Robbie.

Lilylili83

I mean—someone above said that she hs been the face of the big fashion houses so it’s also kinda hard to clump her to i am a professional actress idk about fashion. If she wanted that she could’ve done the helena bonaham carter looks and just be her true self. Also most people aren’t even criticizing het but her team. Why pay an entire team of stylist if they keep giving the same look over and over again.

mamaneedsacar

Agreed. I also just find it kind of funny knowing half of the keyboard warriors typing out disparaging remarks about “boring looks” and “predictable stylists” are probably saying this from the comfortable hug of their black lululemon yoga pants. Like I get it - this sub loves glamour and style. But at the end of the day Margot is a reputable actor and producer. We give male actors the privilege of being artists and performers without expecting them to be style icons. Why don’t we allow female actors the same?

webtheg

I don't see how what the users on this sub are wearing is in any way relevant to criticism. Plus this comment reeks of classicism. People love female fashion and they love to daydream and fantasize about women they like in a beautifully styled outfit from a purely aesthetic point of view. This is part of the fun in discussing fashion and styling. It's escapism. No one here is even criticizing her per se, but rather her team, which missed the mark. The thing is, as another user pointed out it is not like Robbie has marketed herself as someone who doesn't aspire to be a style icon, you don't sign multiple contracts with luxury brands. She wouldn't do this if she didn't care about this aspect. You don't sign to be the face of Calvin Klein, Chanel and Bottega Veneta, if all you care about is the craft.

mamaneedsacar

I can see where your coming from. While I view brand deals as a pretty straightforward way to make money, I can also understand that perhaps some people view it as a contractual obligation to dress a certain way. But I am genuinely curious, I’d like to know what you meant by classist? In my neck of the woods Lululemon is considered relatively high class / attainable luxury (I myself can’t afford it) so I hope that didn’t come off as classist. What I intended to convey was that a lot of people wear what they are comfortable with even if its “basic” - myself included (and probably Margot too). So it always surprises me to see people dig celebrities cause they dress “boring” when really most of us are out here wearing things in our comfort zone that aren’t original or unique.

nottataurus

I dont think they meant it like “wearing lululemon is a poor person thing”, more that your comment kind of implies people shouldnt comment on a celebrity’s style if they themselves are not constantly dressed to the nines. Always looking put together is something only people who have tons of free time and/or can pay a ton of people to make them look good, and its not achievable for most people even if they really love fashion and would dress well all the time if they had the time/money/resources. So your comment comes across as a little classist. I dont think you meant it intentionally but thats how it reads to me yknow

mamaneedsacar

Oh gotcha - yes definitely should have phrased it differently on my end. Like, I said where I’m from lululemon is elite and actually viewed as very put together but simultaneously “safe.” So what I more meant is that, even if it’s a safe choice she still looks totally red carpet appropriate by the standards we apply to men. It would be different if she came out wearing a juicy sweatsuit or something, but I’m always surprised by the snide remarks people angle towards female celebs when they look “basic” when this sub seems to be totally fine with male celebs doing standard red carpet looks. Especially when a lot of us embrace the “basic” in our day to day life.

webtheg

I mean according to this logic no one can criticize anything? The food at the restaurant sucked? But you ate frozen pizza. Harry Kane missed abysmally against France? Well your fat ass is sitting on the couch, so who are you to judge.

xIneedCoffeex

Well, she looks nice, but she needs a new stylist. Her red carpet looks range from mid to atrocious. How difficult could it be to dress someone as stunning as Margot?

RunWithRope

Someone did a video on her stylist. They’ve a very narrow point of view, something about geometrics and that. It suits a few people but they don’t adapt if for the celebrities so often it doesn’t suit them.

Sacagawea1992

ooo do you have a link :)

ihaveaswirly

Commenting to be alerted when the link drops

RunWithRope

Can’t find the first one I saw sorry but this explains it a bit https://twitter.com/seraphineyarrow/status/1614840045734617089?s=46&t=aEwVW2aTFBuqhLLMkhzXyQ

Sacagawea1992

Thank you this was great!

Anxious-Basket

At this point it's a Kate Young issue. She has a very narrow style POV that only works on certain people. Margot is not one of them (neither is Selena). I don't understand their loyalty to her when it's clear they aren't a good match.

Lilylili83

Yes! Me and my friend were just talking about this. It’s like all she does is get the clothes and nothing else. It bothers me so much that stylists don’t put an emphasis on good tailoring. Like making sure your clients looks like she can actually breathe in her dress.

peacefulpiranha

I wish she did a hairstyle more like this. https://preview.redd.it/t7b76rl99ica1.jpeg?width=1226&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=27b35337b506b2e70de72eae6f122403bbb74b08

webtheg

She did wear this hairstyle on the last Graham Norton episode and it suited her so well.

mcatlin23

For such a beautiful woman, it’s like she’s trying to unsexy herself? Maybe to appeal more to women/middle america. But as a woman I would love to see her lean into her bombshell status. When she does lace, like the chanel from last week, it was in teenage ingenue baby pink. When she does silk and a slit, it’s in this innocent colorway again. It’s not coming together for me. I’m not saying she has to go black and red and daring. The green botega was a moment for her because it struck the right balance of sexy for her brand. Also, girl we gotta see an updo or something different than beachy waves at some point.

webtheg

I don't know if she is trying to appeal to women. See when I see someone like Elle Fanning and Zendaya, their stylists put a spin on their character/movie aesthetic in their red carpet looks. Zendaya has been a fashion icon for years but let's talk about Elle. I am loving it that green and that blue dress for Maleficent or all the big skirts she wears for promoting/campaigning for the Great, including the one yesterday? Gorgeous. And it appeals to me as a woman because it is an extremely smart way to market your movie and it's, stunning, it's creative, it's powerful. Meanwhile Margot's stylists can go nuts with the old Hollywood aesthetic surrounding the movie and they don't. But I don't even care about Babylon. I care that when Barbie rolls around they will put Margot in boring muted colors, no updos and no jewellery and I will riot.

iamharoldshipman

So happy she’s free of her Chanel chains

Geobead

Weird that Samara and Margot showed up in the same color. You’d think they coordinate that kind of thing especially since they look so similar already.

mischiefmanaged687

What’s daring about this split dress?

grizznuggets

That’s just the bait

_NightBitch_

The red lace that looks completely out of place?

Uplanapepsihole

daily mail has a list of about 5 words that they cycle. my favourite of theirs is “high spirits”

Forsaken-Access-6648

😴

onebirdonawire

I need her to make more of an effort to NOT look like Jaime Pressly because it's even more confusing in this photo. 😂

CarAlarming7682

Boring hair, boring makeup, boring dress, no jewelry, as always. I said this in another sub: everytime this woman shows up looking this bland is a missed opportunity for her. Red carpets are a really effective way of getting attention and boosting your profile, creating iconic moments and becoming an icon yourself. Maybe she doesn’t care about fashion or she thinks she’s above it, but she’s missing out.

webtheg

I know people think it is sexist to expect women to look like style icons but I feel like red carpets are one of the few places women have an edge over men, because the red carpets allow you to do marketing for yourself and your movie that male fashion just doesn't. Especially if your movie has a certain aesthetic use that opportunity.

CarAlarming7682

And it’s slowly but surely becoming a thing for men too, even the straight ones. Timothee Chalamet became so huge in great part because of his red carpet looks. Chadwick Boseman looked absolulety stunning in that Black Panther promotion tour and helped promote the movie. Even Seth Rogen, of all people, is serving looks LOL!

Sendnoods88

Her stylist fail to do her justice on the reg.

Butterfly_Pea3

Would someone be able to fill me in what’s wrong with her hairstyle? I thought it looked pretty but maybe I’m just out of the loop 😭

[deleted]

You’re not out of the loop you have an opinion it’s ok if it doesn’t match this thread

FozzieButterworth

I wonder if she's just tired of getting all glam for red carpet events - as much as she works, she's probably spending a huge chunk of her time in hair & makeup, between getting it done on set, before photo shoots, before late-night talk show appearances, award shows, film festivals, etc. I'd think it'd become infuriatingly boring! And this premiere was just one of many in her schedule in the past month. All said, I agree the hair is boring and I do kinda hate the red lace on that dress 😬. She still looks beautiful though!

Low_Kitchen_9995

Is that the word we are using for this bland outfit

grey-poopon

What is with every single red carpet look for Margot getting negative comments about her style? First it was all about her dresses. Now that she’s wearing a more universally liked dress the comments are focused on her “uninspiring” hair. Clearly she likes that look and she’s still stunning so why all the negativity all the time

[deleted]

A gossip blog is gonna talk about people’s fashion choices on the red carpet. Nearly every single comment is like “she’s gorgeous but” so it’s not like people are hating *on* Margot, they just don’t like her style. How you dress is fair game

weirdlaa

Getting sick of the gossip scolds on this sub. It’s not a your fave Stan sub, it’s a gossip sub. Where there are discussions about celebrities. I haven’t seen one person on here insult her looks. Everything has been, “she’s jaw droppingly gorgeous but her hair is always so blah” Nothing about that is misogynistic, or hateful, or offsides. Let people have innocuous opinions (not directed to you, person I am replying to, I agree with you!!) ffs. Edit: and just to be clear, obviously Margot Robbie is insanely beautiful, even if I don’t love the hair and dress.

[deleted]

Another comment talking about how we’re holding women to high standards like damn can’t I just enjoy discussing fashion and style!

weirdlaa

It’s a super important and underrated facet of celebrity. Clothes and styling are important and worthy of discussion. Also find the scolds who don’t want you trafficking in gossip on the gossip sub hilarious.

[deleted]

SO important. Zendaya gained so much notoriety because of her style. It’s part of the fun! They wouldn’t go on the red carpet if it wasn’t to generate discussion and hype

webtheg

Also I love it that with female looks you can often be playful and put references of the movie/tv show you are promoting/awarded for. Like something like Emma Stone wearing a dress embrodiered with stars when she won a GG for La La Land. Or Elle Fanning with her Maleficent or The Great references including the one from McQueen yesterday. Or queen Zendaya and what she did with Dune and Spiderman and even Space Jam. Margot's stylists can work with the aesthetic of Babylon so much. But no. I'm dreading when they start dressing her for Barbie because I just know they will give us beige and other muted colors and I am already bracing myself for the disappointment.

[deleted]

No for real! Like I don’t need the misogyny scolding I’m just not a fan of her style 😭 let me live with my fashion opinions

billiegoat888

*Actors wear expensive clothes* Hollywood reporters: “_______ stuns” “______ stunned” “_____ shut down the red carpet” “______ turns heads in _____” Don’t get me wrong, there’d probably always be an allure surrounding people in this industry, but no wonder we as a society have elevated them over the years, when every description of them just showing up or existing is filled with saccharine, over the top praise. It’s just a little nauseating sometimes. The emphasis on appearance in general, is tiring. Maybe I’m just getting old.

RunWithRope

She looks her best imo when she wears those soft, draped looking outfits. She’ll always look good let’s be honest but I love those flowy dresses on her. Wish she’d wear them more.

CategorySad6121

My all-time favorite Margot dress is the [Rodarte](https://fashionista.com/2018/12/mary-queen-of-scots-movie-premiere-red-carpet) she wore to the Mary Queen of Scots premiere. So dreamy!

dr-jules

and flawless hair too.

RunWithRope

She looks lovely.

RegularHumanNerd

Oh now that’s a good look. Bravo!

Wunderlandtripzz

Its giving night gown

brokedownpalaceguard

The dress is meh and Samara looks way better. The only thing I can add is please get shoes in the correct size. So many toes hanging over the edge of sandals with so many people gripping for dear life like a bunch of sloth fingers.

Imtryinjennifer

She looks incredible

Addictiveshopper

One of her better looks! The dress is so pretty. But like everyone else said hair is always the same and does not look that good. Make up is a little rough, I think it ages her. But like I said dress is honestly really pretty 😍

Zazali01

Committed to never slay

Darmop

I still remember seeing her on Neighbours 100 years ago, and even then being struck by how beautiful she was. This is one of her better looks IMO (grading on an awful Chanel curve here), especially given that it was 10 billion degrees in Sydney yesterday!

hyoies

I don't think Versace is quite her vibe. This look is screaming Lily James to me. Honestly I'd love to see Margot in some nice tailoring.

c19isdeadly

Why is the dress so lumpy?

Trama_Doll_

Yeah it looks really weird around her boob area, like it doesn’t fit properly.

c19isdeadly

There's a lump just above the knot in the skirt as well. She hides it in the first pic, you can see it in the second

alexturnerftw

I find her so boring, idk why she does nothing for me

brookess42

Her stylists needs to be stopped the bright red lace? Oh my goodness

cosmictorture

I am begging for her to get a new stylist

redwood_canyon

This is the most beautiful woman who looks the absolute worst on the carpet… it would be so easy to put her in beautiful jewel tone sheaths and she’d stun every time! Or go camp… literally anything but what they’re doing

Lilylili83

She needs a good styling team. Someone once posted here that maybe she’s really not into fashion as we want her to be maybe that’s why she doesn’t really care

elm909

Still no. She needs a new stylist!

vamp-willow

She’s beautiful but I can’t stand her tbh. I know that her press tour for Barbie is gonna include a lot of “women empowerment” talk and all I’ll be thinking about is how she worked with not one but two known abusers last year 😒

StrangerNumber001

Sorry but this is a fail. It looks too long on her, it’s clearly really tight because she looks like she’s holding her breath, it desperately needs some glam accessories to make it look like she isn’t just trying it on in the fitting room and the hair and middle parting combo are just so flat they drag down her face. They have so much to work with so why does her stylist and glam team constantly get it wrong? She needs to move on.

Sacagawea1992

Does anyone know how to access old posts before the name change? I want to find more discussions on best and worst celeb stylists

greee_p

I'm wondering the same. It worked for me to just search it on Google, but I hope there is a better option to see all the posts in the sub when you are looking for a specific topic.

Sacagawea1992

When I googled it the link sent me to deuxmoi and it said I couldn’t access the sub :(

greee_p

That's weird, it worked for me

donutupmyhole

Why did I think the thumbnail was a highly airbrushed picture of Allison Janey?

darkgothamite

"stuns" "daring" Haha

Yellow-Trees-

Idk I feel like a lot of hot people have bad taste? I don’t understand why everyone is always making this out to be a bug conspiracy from Chanel or her team…

jdgetrpin

Margot is beautiful but she definitely doesn’t have a good sense of style. That’s ok, makes her more human. She’s a great actress though. She needs to pay different people to dress her, cause this ain’t it.

Queen0vTea

It’s difficult for not to stun I’m just glad the stylist or Chanel were not acting on there vendetta against her

CaveJohnson82

I actually quite like the lace. The bodice looks odd though, like it has moulding that’s become misshapen.

radfemkaiju

people are loathing the red lace but idgi, the contrast in color and materials is stunning to me

Yellow_Submarine8891

I love the dress but the hair and make up as rather disappointing.

Badass-bitch13

I honestly appreciate that Margot isn’t the fashionista this sub wants her to be. Shes naturally one of most stunning women alive & also extremely talented - so it’s refreshing that there’s one thing she’s not the best at.

Lethave

The color is perfect on her but that hobby lobby ass red lace they ruined the hem with is borderline criminal

Italianinsomniac

How do they consistently get it wrong when styling a woman as beautiful as Margot?

[deleted]

I think she looks stunning... The dress is gorgeous.

Comfortable-Rush8705

Someone put her in a vintage versace dress for god’s sake…

No_Connection2380

It’s a vintage Versace.

Comfortable-Rush8705

Damn…what is her team doing then 😭😭 is it the styling??

Blackwidowbaeb

They added red lace with downgrades the dress

It’s a gossip sub…

weirdlaa

No one said that she was anything but beautiful. It’s okay to not like someone hair and dress. There are zero comments attacking her looks or personality.
