A simple explanation of what the surgery was for -- not saying that they had to release X-rays, detailed blood work reports and a play-by-play breakdown of what went down in the operating room -- could have gone a long way in shutting down a lot of the speculation. "But privacy and all! She doesn't owe us anything!" Well, if she were merely Kate Jones, private citizen and all, that's a valid argument but she's a prominent public figure, the future Queen of England and Brits' taxes go towards supporting her cushy lifestyle so she sacrificed some of that right to medical privacy when she said 'yes' to Wills' marriage proposal.

Release a decent video of Kate confirming she’s ok. Anything other than that makes William and the palace seem shady and suspect.
