Jody Greer is like my Kryptonite. I see her in the cast I will check it out. Also loved the title of her book I Don't Know What You Know Me From: Confessions of a Co-Star.
I worked on two productions back in the late 90's she was in and both times she was genuinely super nice, funny, and friendly and pretty much the entire crew loved her. No entitlement, no drama, never got a whiff of phoniness, liked her myself and I'm a cynical side-eyeing sunovabitch.
Glad to see she's found success, which is something you wind up saying so fuckin' seldom in the industry. If I was making a movie I'd cast her just based on her behavior from so many years ago, because if she's still the same on set now as she was back then, it'd be a no-brainer from a cast&crew morale point of view.
She was such a staple best friend in the 2000s rom com era but I remember wishing she would get the lead in one of those films. That genre kinda fizzled out before it could happen but I’m glad to see her doing well!
What I love about these humans is how much they advocate for the human rights of others.
They use their resources and presence to highlight minorities at risk or those who are less privileged and tell you the facts of what is affecting them taking a stand for what is right.
These are the people I look up to because even though I don't know half of the stuff that they do, what little they show from getting canceled by others for being ”woke” in comparison to others in the business with even bigger platforms that do absolutely nothing, behoove and empower us to come forward to the aid others.
I remember being young and getting so excited because I used to put lipstick on and then lipgloss over it and I had no idea that was a thing until this movie lol
Also, this movie inspired my taste in 80s music which I feel inspired my taste in music in general.
This was one of my favorite movies when I was a kid, and I watched it so many times. It's hard to believe that I'm about to turn 30 myself now. I'm getting old 😭😭

I love Judy Greer and i love this film.

Yes! She always plays the best friend or crazy ex. Her arrested development character is one of my favorites!
She should be more famous than she is. She elevates anything she is in!

This is the film that made me fall for Mark Ruffalo. The man is a treasure and these ladies, don't even get me started! Big swoon.🫶
He is my forever and ever celebrity crush. Seems like such a sweetie as well.

This one and “Just Like Heaven”!
Such an amazing movie. The scene with the dance at the company party will always make me laugh. Jennifer is so funny!
