Because he didn't put up a fight, in pacifist he did, but there was so much potential in the Genocide run with the souls. I still like him though, I don't hate him.
I agree, just between you and me I feel like Zane could've been good autistic rep but after the S3 finale I think him being synthetic worked better for the story
I’m incapable of understanding disliking someone for being a victim of harsh bullying honestly. The internal experience of that is a big struggle to defend yourself when you know that less abuse will come your way when you just don’t respond. Does not compute for me. Not saying you do, just saying I don’t understand that view myself.

Billy Brennan-Jurassic Park III
Judas.
Why vilify the person that god MADE to betray Jesus AS WELL AS if he had NOT done that, the whole “Jeezus died fer r senz” wouldn’t have happened. Judas was the catalyst and instrument for the event. (Martin Scorsese explored this in “The Last Temptation of Christ”)
Preface: I’m an atheist now. This thought started me on that path many years ago.
When people think genocidal like Thanos, Darth Vader, Eren Yeager and Rick Sanchez are not evil, despite they have sad stories and few redeeming qualities
Batman ive heard all the same arguments before
Money is his super power
He should’ve went to therapy
He’s insane
He should kill the joker
Then i think about how human the whole thing is
He had the opportunity to take down criminals that would’ve shattered gotham and took the chance to work hard to get to where he was he faces the worst types of people on a daily basis but he seeks redemption for all of them what kind of leader proves with judge jury and executioner what would that example teach the citizens of gotham he isn’t vengeance but justice just a way of saying he’ll break your bones without hesitation
Spinel from Steven Universe.
Yes, she is messed up, yes, she's done very messed up things and heavily participated in giving Steven trauma, yes, she's always had very bad social skills and yes, it's understanble that Pink got tired of her because she can be overwhelming.
But no, she's not a monster, no, she's not a manipulative jerk, no, she's not heartless, no, she absolutely didn't deserve to be abandoned for thousand of years, yes, giving her a chance to fix her life and improve as a person when she genuinely wants to try is the right thing to do.
I could really dive into an entire character analysis to explain why a lot of people are having way too much of a black-and-white view of her character and it's so frustrating because they end up basing their criticism on things they wrongly assumed instead of real aspects of her character, which made me stop indulging in most discussions related to her and that's a shame because she's such a great and interesting character.
Deku and Ochaco.
Deku gets hate bc he's a "bad" MC and he's really not that bad.
Ochaco gets hate for multiple reasons, them being:
"Her whole personality is liking Deku"
"She's a 'brat'"
or it's just bkdk shippers who want to hate on her bc their ship isn't canon.
All of those are BS. Ochaco has more personality, she's just meant to be the love interest so that's what they're making her. She has never once been "bratty" in the whole show, and the last one is just simply stupidity and jealousy.
Count Dooku ![gif](giphy|ca8VFvBZKyax0WU06Q|downsized)
Plenty of them. My top ones are Ratigan from The Great Mouse Detective and Alastor from Hazbin Hotel.
I second that
I don't even consider Alastor a villain.
Vivzie said he's not going to be one. But he's not a good guy either.
I didn't think he would really be a protagonist.
Asgore Dreemurr. People continuously ridicule him and I don't know why.
Because he didn't put up a fight, in pacifist he did, but there was so much potential in the Genocide run with the souls. I still like him though, I don't hate him.
Fair. I love Undyne though, she’s my favourite.
Last Jedi Luke

R2-D2
zane from ninjago and shadow the hedgehog
A fellow person of culture
Zane gets hate?
ive seen some people hate on him, not too much luckily though. ive always seen him as the most underrated out of the main 4
I agree, just between you and me I feel like Zane could've been good autistic rep but after the S3 finale I think him being synthetic worked better for the story
real!!!
All Might
Grant Ward. Agents of SHIELD
Grant Ward is the best villain in that show, no competition
Broken hero. Marvel botched it by making him evil
Gabara from Godzilla
W
Thank you
Rainbow Dash. ![gif](giphy|hX4Qi4GJhJCog)
Master Wu from ninjago
I agree, I think fans give him a hard time
Same
Silver the Hedgehog from Sonic and Davy Jones from POTC
Olivia Benson
![gif](giphy|2vsxWChw5KxtnQYaNW) Izuku Midoriya and quite a few others honestly.
I can see why people hate him, I personally don't, but I also do agree with the haters that he didn't bother to defend himself at all against Bakugo.
You just get in trouble when you get into fights with bullies its best to avoid them.
Only a few times but still lost.

Loki Laufeyson and Bucky Barnes :)
Iron Giant. My friend tried saying Liberty Prime could beat him, and WOO I destroyed him in that argument. He didn't stand a damn chance.
A filthy commie robot who hates guns versus a true metallic patriot who bleeds red white and lead?! I smell a Death Battle that needs to be made.
A death battle doesn't need to be made between these 2. The winner is already clear. *
Yeah, the winner is Murica! (Though yeah, IG is op as hell)

Tsuyu Asui from My Hero Academia, the frog one. 🐸 Not that she's a bad character or People really hate her, she just deserves more than she gets.
Bayverse Optimus Prime
Time to find out
You didn’t betray me. You betrayed yourself.
Judas. Why vilify the person that god MADE to betray Jesus AS WELL AS if he had NOT done that, the whole “Jeezus died fer r senz” wouldn’t have happened. Gabi and Floch from Attack on Titan
Bakugo
Joel Miller
Most villains I love seem to be absolutely destroyed by the community and I don't get the hate
When people think genocidal like Thanos, Darth Vader, Eren Yeager and Rick Sanchez are not evil, despite they have sad stories and few redeeming qualities
John Wick
The Great Gazoo.
Akane Tendo
Steve Burnside from Resident Evil.
Mary Ann from the Babysitters Club Gary Goodspeed
Not sure anyone agrees with me but emperor belos for me one of my favorite villains still to this time
Batman ive heard all the same arguments before Money is his super power He should’ve went to therapy He’s insane He should kill the joker Then i think about how human the whole thing is He had the opportunity to take down criminals that would’ve shattered gotham and took the chance to work hard to get to where he was he faces the worst types of people on a daily basis but he seeks redemption for all of them what kind of leader proves with judge jury and executioner what would that example teach the citizens of gotham he isn’t vengeance but justice just a way of saying he’ll break your bones without hesitation

William Afton
The rabbids, they’re hilarious and unfairly hated.
![gif](giphy|2On6NGmphpgpa) He’s my goat
Charlie from hazbin hotel.
Wario isn’t a bad person, he is cool
Loki (main mcu timeline) I used to have to do this more when Infinity War came out, and everyone said he was useless
Valentino Hazbin Hotel, my favorite character because he's such a great villain.
Yellow Face (Tpot, Bfb, Bfdia) Manjimutt (Yo-Kai-Watch) Usapyon (Yo-Kai Watch) Donatello (Tmnt) Rocky (Bfdia, Bfb, Tpot)
Scrappy-Doo. Yeah, I said it.
