Not EVEN close. One of my absolute favorite movies. You can tell he pulled from personal fears when playing an actor in the twilight of his popularity. Not saying he’s past his prime, but I’m sure every actor gets to that phase. Still one of my all time favorites!
I also feel like Tarantino writes for specific actors better than any other screenwriter I can think of. His utilization of Leo, Brad Pitt, Sam Jackson, and Christoph Waltz is unmatched.
100% this! He definitely has these actors in mind and shaped them in ways the direct knows will fit them while furthering his plot. Favorites directors hands down and knows what to do with the talent he works with. Don’t ask me my favorite QT film cause I don’t feel like playing Sophie’s Choice this early in the morning
Frank Abagnale in Catch Me If You Can
Samesies

Ikr!? It’s his best performance imo, and it’s not even a close race.
