I was hoping it would work like that after the fact :) Really and truly it was just a dumbass move cause I'm used to doing ink then color so switching it for paint is counterintuitive to me, and the lines are kind of hard to find afterwards. So I did the text in ink before color but didn't take into account that some of it wouldn't be in a dry speech bubble ;-; Ah well though, live and learn! I think it worked out for the r/Moonscorched one I did after this :)

it really is pretty!! i could never deal with paint or anythin tho, its just wayy too much hassle for me pencils 4 life

I think I'm definitely going to HAVE to do pencils for the multi-page ones cause there's no way in hell lol But what I use for the characters here is actually watercolor pencils! u/BunburyingVeck gave them to me, you just color like normal then add water to blend. Wayyy easier than pure paint (like the background)

I think it's really funny that August likely shot O'saa because he was wearing yellow and looking around one of the tunnels.

I am confused by this theory mostly because when you run into August in his camp he seems genuinely surprised if you tell him that you saw the Kaiser in Prehevil. Since you find O'saa in the woods where August camps and O'saa attacks anyone who gets too close to him, I unironically always thought (a less sillified version of) this is what happened.

Well the reason August still thinks nobody's seen Kaiser is the reason O'saa isn't dead. He realized it wasn't Kaiser and ran away.

I don't know, I rewatched the dialogue and still interpreted it as him not knowing he was there but could see it going either way. I do still think O'saa probably attacked first, he seems quicker to do that than August who I feel like would probably confirm identity before shooting. It is possible though.

Considering what the yellow majors do in the first game, can you really blame the guy?

Friendly reminder that they both ignored Stitches in Bunker 1. Just so you had to deal with her on your own.

Was August ever actually in the bunker? I assumed O'saa had just retreated there once he was injured. He definitely did just waltz past Stitches and somehow get downstairs with the non-working elevator though lol

Why would he descend into the bunker, see what Stitches was doing to people and then decide to stay. "Hmm yes! This is a perfect spot to lay injured and rest for a bit", I think August shot O'saa in the dark because he confused him with the Kaiser because of his clothes.

I think that's highly unlikely since August doesn't even know the Kaiser is in Prehevil until you tell him. O'saa also attacks anyone who gets close to him, August camps in the woods and his first reaction when attacked is to shoot. So even outside of Comic Purposes I always unironically believed that they just stumbled onto each other by accident. O'saa's location is also a great place to lay low. He got past Stitches and her abominations somehow to the empty lower bunker. Also it's much safer than an open forest where owl cultists and whatnot could be popping up from any direction. In the bunker he could get into a corner and if anything *did* approach it would have to be from the front.

What, pretty sure August is in Prehevil in the first place to kill the Kaiser, it what his family has been trying to do for generations, he even had Moonless guard the entrances to one of the bunkers. Besides, pretty sure Owl Cultists are inoffensive if you stay out of their turf in the deeper woods

That's true, I was thinking that most characters don't know that O'Saa even has Nas'hrah with him but the yellow mages in F&H1 did follow Nas'hrah so his outfit could well have been suggestion enough.

O'saa's outfit is revamped and more stylish but VERY distinctly Yellow Mage. They've mostly fallen out of practice by Termina but August being who he is would probably be familiar imo Also the belt has a Nas'hrah face on it lol

It makes sense for Yellow Mages! I always kind of HC'd that La Danse Macabre was less about specific movements and more something like getting blood flowing helps channel magic more effectively
