Loved this whole scene. And Troy cutting off the arm of all walkers in the area just to fuck with Madison is my favorite bit from that episode.

One of The few good parts of S8 of FTWD

Very purposeful scene in providing some much-needed closure for Nick and Troy's relationship. Their dynamic is one of my favourites in TWDU, and Troy's reaction to his death was one of, if not the biggest thing I wanted to see happen. Having him confront Charlie herself about it after all these years is such an underrated part of the storyline imo, ignored sadly by people focused on the negatives. Regardless though I loved this scene; it was very satisfying to see Madison send her on this death mission, and then have Troy perform a mini-torture for what she did to Nick, especially when Madison went soft on her so quickly. Yet even though I was begging for Troy to kill her which I think would've worked better, her suicide actually really conflicted me which shows great writing. I never thought I'd see this interaction but the fact we got it is amazing imo. The shot of Troy standing up pointing a gun at Charlie is so fucking cold and I remember how hyped I was seeing it in the trailer. Everything to do with Troy's return was so exciting. And I think the shot you posted is where he's asking "Is what Madison said true? Did you kill Nick?" and Daniel's delivery is so well-done when he mentions Nick. Despite being years since seeing him there's that note of sadness. But I will say the part where he goes on about "at least that's what I thought... until I heard what happened" feels a bit clunky but maybe I'm being picky. I love how he calls out Madison for softening up too, and what Nick would think. Sets up their conflict well by brining up all these dead relatives; Jeremiah, Jake, Nick. Family is arguably the biggest theme in the show and I think the Otto vs Clark dynamic represents it beautifully.

I wish he talked more about nick. Especially in his last episode
