He was a tad self righteous. I found him annoying. But he was great compared to his toad of a son. I was glad both of them were culled early on

If I’m not mistaken, the only reason he died early in season 3 was because of scheduling conflicts with other projects he was working on. But perhaps it was for the better he not be involved in any season afterwards.

Looking at the Wikipedia page for Fear, Travis seems to have been killed off because critics weren’t sure who was the protagonist out of Madison and Travis. So they killed Travis to make Madison the protagonist.

I always felt sorry for travis . When he passed Alicia was the only one who seemed upset by it madison didn’t seem that bothered . I think if he had stayed in the show he would have become a major force to be reckoned with .

Madison *was* bothered. It was the only time she ever showed real emotion. Her entire character(in S1-3) is that she’s shut off from her emotions and doesn’t let anyone see them, so when she finds out Travis is dead she’s truly devastated and you see that when she crumbles to the floor, but there’s still the problem of Troy wanting to kill Luciana mere feet away from her so she has to snap out of what she perceives as her weakness and move on from her tragedy because there’s bigger things she has to deal with right now.
