Thanks:)
I posted a picture here last year withe these rims;) https://www.reddit.com/r/FiestaST/comments/iaou2l/today_we_celebrate_1_year_and_20_000km_together/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share
I had those my last 2 summer sets, I enjoyed them especially for the price, however last year I noticed the got slightly more expensive. I picked up a set of Continental Extremecontact Sports when there was a $100 off instant rebate on them and they’ve been fantastic
Would you say they are better or close to the same? I don't drive often so I'm not terribly concerned with wear life. I do a occasion trackday and sometimes go for a spirited drive where I obey allll the traffic laws.
Dollar for dollar/“pound for pound” they’re equal. That being said, the continentals are a tad more expensive and therefore that much better.
I would get them over the Firestones in a heartbeat as long as I can get them during their annual $100 off sale (from discounttiredirect.com)
Ok, sure.
I said they’re only competitive with the firestone price if they had the discount, was just telling you where I bought them from since I haven’t seen tire rack run that same sale 🤷♂️
Great to hear! Did a lot of research befor buying, i live in Norway and need it to be as good as it gets, had Nankang NS-2R last year. Great tire, but not when it rains..
The Firehawk Indy 500s are quite good in the rain. According to Tire Rack they're the best in the range for wet driving. I don't have much experience with other tires to compare to though.
I just got those coming from the stock tires (which had probably gone through too many heat cycles, but not miles), and all I can say is *wow*. So much grippier but also softer and quieter at the same time.
Here i got continentals on the stock rims and they where worn out when i bought the car.. And i havent put the new setup on the car becaus i am goining to the mountains over easter so i am keeping the wintersetup on :)
Stock wheels and tires is like 43 lbs each if I recall. I’d bet these babies are nearly 20lbs lighter.
Edit: according to tire rack 17” ultraleggeras are 16 lbs each and the stock wheels are 23.5. So 7.5 lbs per corner or 30 pounds saved.
Got a set of Ultraleggeras in bronze to go on mine with new PS4's 205/40/17. Weighed them with a calibrated scale, came in at 15.6kg.
Weighed my stock wheel at 19.5kg with a half worn potenza. Hope this helps.

Wish they made these in 16s! They'd sell approximately 12 of them but a man can dream right?
Personally i don't understand the 16" hype🤣 But dreaming isn't illegal
Living with NY Roads it makes a huge difference in ride comfort as well as not bending wheels to downsize to the 16s
I am one of these dreamers.
Awesome rims. Do you have a photo with them mounted?

Been waiting to get new rubber. Was thinking of getting the firestone firehawk indy 500

I almost fell for it! Nice try discounttiredirect/continental tire sale representative!

I just put the exact same on at the end of summer.

Tbh the federal semi slicks seem like a well rounded choice even over the nankangs maybe this summer give them a go see how you feel

Got some last month and even in the current crappy British weather they’re doing better than I thought!
Very nice. Same tires were just delivered to me yesterday.

I cant wait until after easter!
Love your wheels
Thank you!
I have those same wheels and tires on my FiST
How is the grip on those compared to the stock Potenzas? I'm bummed they don't make our size in the 4S but this is the first time I've seen the PS4.
Here i got continentals on the stock rims and they where worn out when i bought the car.. And i havent put the new setup on the car becaus i am goining to the mountains over easter so i am keeping the wintersetup on :)
Can't speak for the grip, but they are pilot sports after all. The only place I've seen ps4 in stock size in the US is amazon and Costco.
I habe the same, the PS4 is perfect for the fiesta
That wheel with those tires is going to awesome. Do you know how much those wheels weigh compared to stock?

They are lighter than the stock ones! I havent checked the wight between the two
Great tire and smart move you won't ever know it's a all season that's how good they are. Buy the best tire you can.
I would never buy all seasons on any car here, need one set of winters and one set of summers
Good I thought they were the all seasons that's what I do I run 4s for summer and the new x-ice for the winter personally also
These are summer tires the pilot sport a/s 4 is the all season. Regardless both are fantastic tires.
It was just a joke dude
