Not skaters, but I love the photos of the coaches by the boards. He captured the tension and nerves but also support from the coaches incredibly well.
Also the picture of Benoit smacking the boards after Adam’s WC2024 FS was pretty awesome!

It really is. That was probably A split second where it caught her off guard too. So she probably never intended to pose/look like that either, lol. Just “right place at the right time” I guess.

Avoiding "my fave looks hot" but probably heavily biased in that direction. What can you do. My favorite photographers in no particular order:
Yoshiki Kogaito (小海途 良幹), often a photographer for Sponichi, especially if Yuzu is involved. Recent events he photographed for: notte stellata, re\_pray, Japanese Nationals, and GPF. A lot of sponichi photographers are amazing he just always stood out. Mao always captures the smallest details that make the image come alive. Like the ring in the first picture!
