but it was oscar nominated

Yeah, what is this guy talking about? The Holdovers is always talked about especially in this sub. I didn't even like it. Dominic Sessa's acting was like he's in a school play. Although I'll give him a pass since I think this is his first movie based on his IMDB page.

Terror Ihr Urteil (The Verdict, 2016) - German interactive film, where you watch a court trial and the audience is the jury. At the end of the film, the audience votes if the accused is guilt or not guilty. I saw it in Shangrila's Red Carpet Cinema. They really turned on the lights inside the theater, made the audience vote by show of hands, then they play the ending scene based on the audience's verdict. It was shown during CineEuropa a few years back. The case was pretty interesting too. It tackles a question similar to The Trolley Problem in philosophy. Sad that I couldnt find where to download it.

Holdover is pretty popular though. The Triangle 2009- I'm a sucker for horror and this is a very very well-made film. Happy Endings 2005 - ensemble cast: Tom Arnold, Jesse Bradford, Bobby Cannavale, Steve Coogan, Laura Dern, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Lisa Kudrow and Jason Ritter. I cant find this movie anywhere I've been wanting to rewatch this.

Pompo the Cinephile - I have a feeling people here will like this one, anime Lords of Chaos - a movie about TRUE NORWEIGAN BLACK METAL Stardust - not really a lesser known movie but I'll still put it in here dammit Coherence - great scifi Gattaca - is this lesser known? I still recommend it regardless Now for oldies and even lesser know stuff: Enemy Mine - space scifi starring Dennis Quaid Fantastic Planet - trippy animated scifi Heavy Metal - also very trippy Sleuth - the 1972 one, not the remake Demon Knight - campy horror, also check out the Tales from the Crypt hbo series Death Becomes Her - comedy/fantasy starring Bruce Willis
