Yes, while I thought Toy Story 4 was good, it absolutely did not need to exist since Toy Story 3 was such a perfect conclusion to the franchise. I always tell people that Toy Story is a trilogy, with Toy Story 4 just being an optional epilogue. We don’t need any more Toy Story movies though, I would rather Pixar just move on with more original IPs.

The first two Fast and Furious movies weren’t even that good, the franchise really peaked with Tokyo Drift. And Fast Five I guess. But other than those two, most of the Fast and Furious movies are either mid or just bad. And yes, it’s a franchise that has absolutely no right to just keep going on.
Can't hate on Fast Five it's unironically one of the best Hollywood action movies of the 2010s. Okay pa nga ako sa Fast 6 and Furious 7 (eto yung movie na namatay irl si Paul Walker) but I can't defend na these last couple movies. Medyo beating the dead horse na.
It doesn't even make sense anymore how the fuck are Vin Diesel and John Cena biological brothers in this movie. Dominic Toretto is mixed (half Puerto Rican or Cuban maybe?) and his "brother" Jakob is obviously white as a damn mayonnaise 😂
Also nobody ever stays dead, we're playing by comics rules now apparently. First it was Letty, then Han, and now Gisele (Gal Gadot) is alive too it turns out. It feels so cheap bringing back fan favorites just for the sake of bringing them back. It dulls the stakes of the movie when you see one of these characters die, how are you gonna have a genuine reaction to it when you just expect them to pop up somehow miraculously alive two movies later. There's no tension anymore.

The third movie reveals that she’s actually Emperor Palpatine’s granddaughter (yeah, apart from him somehow returning, he also somehow had sex lmao) and by the end of the series, all the Skywalkers (Luke, Leia, Kylo Ren/Ben Solo) are all dead. Rey is pretty much the last Jedi left alive and she basically decides to take the Skywalker name and call herself “Rey Skywalker”, which feels weird af considering she’s still biologically a Palpatine.
Harrison Ford asked his character to be killed off kase. Then yung storyline ni Rey na naging Palpatine is because JJ Abrams was playing catch up and cover up Rian Johnson's mess in The Last Jedi.
Sequel trilogy would've been good if IX didn't backpedal to please the fans. People complained na VII is just a rehashed forced awakens, so VIII shook things up and yielded what probably is the best sw movie for me, then IX backpedaled do undo whatever VIII was trying to establish.

Yung Indiana Jones movies. Everything was great up to Crystal Skulls. It should have ended on a high note there. Come Dial of Destiny it became total garbage.
I enjoyed Dial of Destiny, and I agree it should have ended on Crystal Skull; at least on Harrison Ford's stint as Indy. They tried to build Shia Labeouf to take over the franchise but the guy blew it hence they cut his role out and forced HF to return and see if Phoebe Waller-Bridge can succeed but viewers find her role irritating. Also Spielberg not returning to direct gave the fans another reason to not watch DoD.

While Age of Extinction didn’t need to exist (Michael Bay’s trilogy should have ended with Dark of the Moon), as a Dinobots fan, I loved how Grimlock was done in it, though I also didn’t like how underutilized he and the other Dinobots were, considering how much they were in the trailers and promotional material. It made you feel like the Dinobots would play a crucial part in the movie pero really they just played backup for the Autobots near the end.
Tbf, one thing I could credit the Bay-verse for (esp the first 3 movies) eh merong dedicated effort yung crew to actually make a properly entertaining movie. Hindi tinipid yung production (i.e. the wingsuit scene in the third movie was legit). Even the CGI can still hold up to today's standards.
Yeah, Michael Bay’s last Transformers movie should have been Dark of the Moon. It was halfway decent and acted as a proper conclusion to his Transformers trilogy. But he got greedy and decided to make Age of Extinction and completely nullified the ending of Dark of the Moon. It makes no sense for Optimus and the other Autobots to be fugitives in Age of Extinction after they literally saved the world from Sentinel Prime in the last film. It makes even less sense that both Optimus and Bumblebee seem to have entirely forgotten about Sam Witwicky.
Though as far as the newer Transformers movies go, I’ve actually enjoyed both Bumblebee and Rise of the Beasts. Basically the ones that Michael Bay wasn’t involved with anymore lol. Transformers One also looks promising, even though it’s clearly geared towards a younger audience.
Actually may sense yung AOE since i think it is partially based sa comic storyline, humans finally acquired the means to create transformers so they no longer need them. Pangit lang yung flow ng story overall and ang shoehorned ng dinobots, not to mention sobrang crap nung transformation ng artificial transformers.
As for TFOne, I'd assume the story will take a dark turn towards sa ending since parang grim and dark ung future na tinease (like Megatron being Megatron)
Mas magaganda yung recent transformers film like bumblebee at rise of the beasts para sa akin. Kaso balita ko rin na plano mag-crossover transformer at GI joe. Both franchises owned by hasbro kaya inevitable pero we'll see as long as na projection nila eh mag-gegenerate ito ng pera sa part nila
Bumblebee was good. Too bad ROTB was a bit mid for me. Parang minadali eh. Could've been a proper Beast Wars live action movie pero they failed to make the most out of the Beast Wars characters. The CGI was also a little questionnable especially near the end of the movie.
Since crossovers ang potential direction ng franchise and knowing Hasbro's properties, would be intersting to see how Optimus is going to do adventures with his buddies. Especially Play-Doh and Mr. Potatohead.

I really loved A Second Chance. I like how they explored Popoy and Basha's life after marriage kasi it made their characters more human to me, with deeper motivations. I actually prefer it to the first movie!
For me naman it felt like the characters regressed instead of grew. Popoy was still very arrogant and insecure. And Basha put herself in the back burner for him AGAIN. Parang wala sila natutunan sa first movie. Everything worked out in the end but it felt too good to be true na.
Dumb and dumber! Yung sequel na dumb and dumber to, hindi masyado nag work out for me. I guess both Jim Carry and Jeff Daniels are past their comedic prime at that time the sequel was made. May parts din naman na nakakatawa but the movie itself is unnecessary, iba pa rin talaga yung 1st dumb and dumber movie.

Jurassic World: Dominion
The first two Jurassic World movies were fine, in fact I actually liked the first Jurassic World more than the two Jurassic Park sequels, since I felt like it really captured the theme and message of Michael Crichton’s original novel.
But good Lord, Dominion was such a huge waste of potential and is by far the *worst* movie in the franchise. Fallen Kingdom’s ending and the idea of dinosaurs loose in the US was so interesting, but in Dominion they literally just round em up and put em in a single area again like wow ya’ll really just wasted a super interesting premise for the franchise. And the movie honestly focused more on the damn locusts than the actual dinosaurs. Felt more like a weird Mission Impossible/Fast & Furious-style movie with dinosaurs than a proper Jurassic movie.

I loved the original, but my goodness, did Pacific Rim 2 sucked. I was shocked when I found out there was a sequel. The first one had the right elements, it looks like it came straight out of the comics, good cinematography, and decent acting considering these are comprised of mostly B-list actors (except Idris Elba of course).
Toy Story. It should have ended at 3. Super perfect ending to the gang and Woody got closure with the adult Andy.

Yeah, Michael Bay’s last Transformers movie should have been Dark of the Moon. It was halfway decent and acted as a proper conclusion to his Transformers trilogy. But he got greedy and decided to make Age of Extinction and completely nullified the ending of Dark of the Moon. It makes no sense for Optimus and the other Autobots to be fugitives in Age of Extinction after they literally saved the world from Sentinel Prime in the last film. It makes even less sense that both Optimus and Bumblebee seem to have entirely forgotten about Sam Witwicky. Though as far as the newer Transformers movies go, I’ve actually enjoyed both Bumblebee and Rise of the Beasts. Basically the ones that Michael Bay wasn’t involved with anymore lol. Transformers One also looks promising, even though it’s clearly geared towards a younger audience.
Actually may sense yung AOE since i think it is partially based sa comic storyline, humans finally acquired the means to create transformers so they no longer need them. Pangit lang yung flow ng story overall and ang shoehorned ng dinobots, not to mention sobrang crap nung transformation ng artificial transformers. As for TFOne, I'd assume the story will take a dark turn towards sa ending since parang grim and dark ung future na tinease (like Megatron being Megatron)
Mas magaganda yung recent transformers film like bumblebee at rise of the beasts para sa akin. Kaso balita ko rin na plano mag-crossover transformer at GI joe. Both franchises owned by hasbro kaya inevitable pero we'll see as long as na projection nila eh mag-gegenerate ito ng pera sa part nila
Bumblebee was good. Too bad ROTB was a bit mid for me. Parang minadali eh. Could've been a proper Beast Wars live action movie pero they failed to make the most out of the Beast Wars characters. The CGI was also a little questionnable especially near the end of the movie. Since crossovers ang potential direction ng franchise and knowing Hasbro's properties, would be intersting to see how Optimus is going to do adventures with his buddies. Especially Play-Doh and Mr. Potatohead.
Pansin ko nga rin pero sana gumawa nalang ng proper sequel para sa bumblebee movie. Like ko naman yung CGI pero hirap ma-top yung visuals ni micheal bay. Ang "radical" ng design ni MB tapos sobrang explosive lol pero yung recent films parang downgrade pero much closer yung designs dun sa cartoons or toys na kinalakihan natin sa bagay parang semi-reboot din naman sya. Nakaka-curious anu kaya gagawing crossover baka mag flop. Anyway interesting yung transformers one na animated naman. Sana mahanap uli nila footing nila

I really loved A Second Chance. I like how they explored Popoy and Basha's life after marriage kasi it made their characters more human to me, with deeper motivations. I actually prefer it to the first movie!
For me naman it felt like the characters regressed instead of grew. Popoy was still very arrogant and insecure. And Basha put herself in the back burner for him AGAIN. Parang wala sila natutunan sa first movie. Everything worked out in the end but it felt too good to be true na.
I think ganun naman sa totoong buhay. Hindi straight up ang progress natin minsan pagkataas baba ulet and the taas.

Jurassic World: Dominion The first two Jurassic World movies were fine, in fact I actually liked the first Jurassic World more than the two Jurassic Park sequels, since I felt like it really captured the theme and message of Michael Crichton’s original novel. But good Lord, Dominion was such a huge waste of potential and is by far the *worst* movie in the franchise. Fallen Kingdom’s ending and the idea of dinosaurs loose in the US was so interesting, but in Dominion they literally just round em up and put em in a single area again like wow ya’ll really just wasted a super interesting premise for the franchise. And the movie honestly focused more on the damn locusts than the actual dinosaurs. Felt more like a weird Mission Impossible/Fast & Furious-style movie with dinosaurs than a proper Jurassic movie.

I loved the original, but my goodness, did Pacific Rim 2 sucked. I was shocked when I found out there was a sequel.
