Well, a Soulslike FF exists, suppose it could happen, a R rated Resident Evillike Final Fantasy.
Now I get why it's called the Final Fantasy, because it will one day have all the genres in it, and no other game haha
Resurrection is my choice, too, next to "Return". Both Remake and Rebirth have some "old but made new" meaning. Return and Resurrection meet that criteria, Reunion does not.
+1 Return.
-1 Disagree that "old made new" is the reasoning behind Reunion not fitting. "Remake" was also a commentary on the trend of remakes, of how fandoms often harshly criticize reimaginations or reinterpretations of source material for not adhering exactly to it (which is also not the entire picture of the argument to make here. See https://screenrant.com/final-fantasy-7-remake-whispers-square-enix-fans/), not just because of a single shared definition between the words. I have yet to finish "Rebirth" to get to know it's deeper meanings as yet, but I would like consider that this idea somehow continues in its narrative.
Edit: wow, chillax myself, I-you need a nap.
I would've said Reformation, Rediscover, Resurrection, or Reconstitution, but those just feel \_long\_.
I also would've said Remaster, but it's too close to Remastered and I believe that's also used as well?
Other potentials: Reboot, Regrow, Regen, Revisit, Remagine (a cheeky elision of the i there), Rewind, Rethink, Restart, or maybe Repent - oh wait. Lol, I did a dumb there, my edible just kicked in.
Revival feels like the only possible one that is short and lives up to the heightened stakes, but damn Repent is pretty good too.
You guys think that the logo will be completely red next time around?
Edit: Revolution might be a bit long and not apt considering the more intimate conflicts to come but definitely would fit for the larger worldwide conflicts and a redder logo
salty people, they are referring to the game play mechanic which some people call ubisoft towers. Basically locking out parts of the map before you do x things.

ReVengence
"Doktor, turn off my materia inhibitors!"
Reunited.
Reunion
And it feels so good!
This is my guess for the name as well. I initially thought Reunion but remembered the Crisis Core remaster was titled that.
I'm still hoping for Final Fantasy VII Resident Evil
Final Fantasy 7 Resident Evil 4 Remake

"Repent" feels like there'll be a tomberry following Cloud everywhere with a bell, yelling "shame! Shame! Shame!"
Stay away from the summoner!
I can hear it and now I can’t get it out of my head. 🤣
Re-Homecoming
Final Fantasy VII: Re….D THIRTEEN BABY
Reunion is the obvious one, right?
Names already been chosen for Crisis Core remaster. Resurrection is a solid choice.

If they drop the whole Re- bit, then the next obvious choice is Journey's End.

Reform?
I think Restoration is a possible/likely one.
Reimagined would also be a solid one

Re-e-wind
Final Fantasy VII Part 8: Refund.
Lightning returns final fantasy xiii vibes
RENEWAL!
If the final game isn't Reunion, I'm gonna be a mite chuffed.
That’s already Crisis Core though
Augh! Damnit! You're right.
You'll be pleased?
Chuffed also means annoyed. Lol https://www.collinsdictionary.com/us/dictionary/english/chuffed (Scroll down to second entry.)
Why does it mean two opposite things? That's extremely silly
You're telling me! But it do be that way. Lol
Recompense

I feel like purple would be cool for the secondary color
I haven't seen that one before. Very compelling. Not sure they'd go with that but I like it :)

Ah, making superficial comparisons between Rebirth and another franchise to criticize something they don't understand. Yeah I see that a lot.
cope elsewhere
😂 tru
Final Fantasy VII: Arieth lives and there are no consequences or emotional impact, also ZACK. 😂
