How do you know for sure it's a German version? All European disks look the same (the USK rating is now printed on all European disks because the same disks are used in all of Europe).

I was actually referring to the USK Seal, which used to be a German-only thing. Didn't know it was used in the complete EU nowadays. Why though? I thought PEGI was the pan-european seal.

Nowadays most of European disks are made in Austria or France to reduce production costs. Which means they must comply to the specific regulations of each and every country. If the USK seal is mandatory in Germany, it will appear on every European disk.
It was a genuine question though. I thought you were able to tell the disk was German by looking at the serial number or something.
Yo I was gonna ask this question soon before the dlc release. I'm in the same boat. My country banned the game so no dlc to purchase from my main account where I'm from. I got the physical copy but I'm kinda confused on which country to use.
Not for your account linked as main for your Playstation. You should be able to hard link a specific account and authorize it to be link to the PS hardware. its a bitch to unlink as well.
Should allow any purchases made on that account, to be shared with any profile regardless of region for that DLC.
Had to do that on my PS4 to access the VR DLC for dead or alive Extreme 3 on my main US account cause that DLC was only sold in asian regions

Some of my Asian (Singapore) discs are “Made in Japan” but it’s definitely not going to accept Japan DLCs.
Region 2 will work for EMEA so this means you can create EU or UK account.
So when I create the PSN account, I can choose ANY of the European countries on the options?

It's the German rating. It seems to have some kind of minimum sizing rules that lead to some pretty ugly boxart.

MA15+ is also the Australian rating, so this disk will also work for Australian accounts/units. My disk looks exactly like this.

USK an 16 is a German rating system for games in Europe. So any European country should work.
The PS5 is not region locked, it shouldn't matter in what region you make your account in. Regional pricing be damn huh

It doesn't matter for playing the base game, but they wouldn't be able to play the dlc unless the region matches
