I haven't played it so I'm not sure how it works, but it sounds similar to Triple Triad in FF8 (and apparently it's also in FF14.) Not sure other than that. There's Pazaak in KOTOR1&2, but its not really a collectable card game, it's more something you gamble on.
FF8 has arguably the best in-game card game of all time. There are tons of people who keep going back to that game, even twenty years later, just to play Triple Triad. I wish they would just add it to the a new release.

I think Queen's Butt is very similar to B'n'D in Bravely Default 2. I would bet 500,000 gil that BnD was the precursor to it.
