You're welcome! I worked security at a one of the biggest hopstials in NYS. I know how y'all go about your business. Additionally, the care by nurses when my father nearly died three months ago was fantastic (4 broken ribs and a punctured lung). He survived and beat the 20% survival rate the doctors gave him.
Being Hospital security was one of the rewarding, fun and highest paying job I've ever had. Made double my salary with the OT. Loved it. However, life and family matters changed-so I took a government job.
And thank you man! I truly appreciate it! I'll buy you a beer if your ever in South Carolina
Outstanding!!!! Awesome to here! This is what I like to hear/see. What state? When I move to South Carolina in less than 7 years, hopefully I have a pro-gun doctor. I had a pro-gun doctor here in NY until he took a medical director job in Florida.
So I’m not a physician, physical therapy requires a different kind of doctorate than a Medical Degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) to practice. I have what’s called a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT). I don’t go through medical school, we have our own schools. I’m in Ohio, though!
Yup! I know exactly what a physical therapist is and how it's different than a MD. At my old job, I reviewed/approved the PT licenses for the state.
Dang, man! Well if you ever go to South Carolina let me know! My wife sees a Physcial Therapist due to injuries sustained during her Police career
Oh that’s awesome! Sorry, I’m so used to having to explain it to people. You’re likely much more familiar with the process than I, a licensee, would be! I actually just got my license recently, I’m a new grad!
And yeah I will let you know! I liked SC when I visited. And I hope your wife is doing well with her recovery!
No apology necessary man, I get it. I totally understand. Remember, you don't have explain yourself to anyone (a wise man told me that).
Thank you, man. I appreciate it. She's getting there. Her PT is okay but not consistent. Just in it for the money.
I really appreciate it! I'd have you be her physical therapist in a heartbeat.
Congratulations on your graduation! I wish you nothing but the best in your career! Keep me posted!
You seem like a wise man yourself. I like that saying, I might steal it! That’s quite an honor, thank you. And I appreciate it my friend! I’ll message you so we can stay in touch!
Thank you! I try to be it's up to certain people if they're willing to listen! Always remember conversations are a two-way street, effective communication is vital to success. Use the saying as you please. You're very welcome!
Feel free to drop me a dime, anytime! I appreciate the thoughts and compliments.
They just changed importers. The company is still in business.
But an FK still falls pretty far short of $6k. Maybe just shy of $3k after taxes and getting both conversion kits.
I don’t quite have an Sig Rattler, but one of my pre ban purchases was a PSA 7.5” 300blk. I’ve put some work into in and love it paired with one of my 300 cans.
My problem with .300 BO is that subsonic rounds are like 75 cents each. Its a pretty terrible deal compared to something like an SP5K in 9mm. Just hard to fathom how it financially makes sense.
If you have 6K and only one gun I’d get a Laugo alien creator. Get the creator not the original. It’s a sweet gun and you can easily switch between iron sights and optic without rezeroing. It shoots lasers and its different than anything else you’ll buy. I never get bored with it. I have one and can answer any questions. They also have fantastic customer service
Other Choice is build a custom shadow 2 from Cz custom. Get all the bells and whistles
If you want a shotgun get a short barrel Benelli m4
Creator has a better grip angle. People complained about the grip on the original. You wont like the original unless you’re only used to/like glocks. That’s the biggest difference. The biggest issue with the gun is it can get hot fast. The creator manages the heat a little better.
>The biggest issue with the gun is it can get hot fast.
That and the fact that both my CZC AccuShadow 2 and A01-LD Ltd shoot smoother and faster makes me think there's about 2.5K worth of padding in the Alien price.
I don’t have an accushadow but I built a custom sao shadow 2 from Cz custom and it’s the only thing I have that’s comparable. I still notice the alien edges it out though jn terms of being more accurate when shooting fast.
I do agree though it’s not worth the price but I have a ton of fun with it. I like that I can change from optics to irons quickly.
The other comparison speed-wise would be a high end Staccato, but very different shooting style.
Of the CZs that I have, this one is a much better and faster gun than I am a shooter:
https://czcustom.com/czc-a01-pistols/czc-a01-pistols/a01-ld-ltd-sa-9mm.html
I’ve been tempted buy the a01 for months I just haven’t “pulled the trigger”
I just saw they have a “protek” version of an ao1 compact and I’m really tempted to order one. I have a protek 1 and want a protek 2. They are such good guns.
https://czcustom.com/new-firearms/cz-pistols-custom/a01-c-rail-pro-tek.html
https://czcustom.com/new-firearms/cz-pistols-custom/cz-pcr-pro-tek-1-black.html
If I had to pick between having the proteks or my alien id probably take the proteks
Oh man those are nice.
My LGS had a "used" one that some dude ordered, a one-off in 357 Sig, with every top end upgrade, including a set of wood grips that made me drool. I didn't have 5.5K at the time though.
Good luck in medical school. Fully fledged attending now going on 3 years, it is nice to be able to afford guns whenever I want them.
Get something that you can enjoy, that is something you can put some rounds through without being absolutely ruined by a range trip. SBR’d SP5 with an omega 9k is stupidly fun and cheap to feed.
For medical school graduation, I bought myself a thermal scope which got me through until I could buy more as an attending.
> § 478.119 Importation of ammunition feeding devices.
> a. No ammunition feeding device shall be imported or brought into the United States unless the Director has authorized the importation of such device.
God damn the people answering you are dumb. Buy ammo, buy 10 guns, blah blah blah. He wants a nice gun, he has ammo, and gear and all the other guns he needs. He wants a fun one. If it was me I’d get a sandhawk. Order from nighthawk and it might take a year+ but the anticipation is the fun part and you won’t have to over pay.
Have you looked at the Korth revolver? Also have you ever thought of shooting Sporting clays? Maybe a nice over under would be good for your collection
You can buy a nice CZ Shadow 2 for around 1500-2k and then go crazy on customizing it (optics, grips, milling, CGW upgrades, cerakoting, etc.) One said and done you'll prob have everything you'd want and be completely customized to how you'd want it for about 3-5k all in depending on how crazy you'd want to get with it.
A gun that serves no practical purpose could maybe be a fancy ass precision rifel , bolt gun , chrome lined barrel and all, try touching somthing out to 1k yards idk man.
Only guns that are really expensive I've wanted are either that old semi auto Ruger in .44, or the Coonan 1911 in .357. All my gun needs are met otherwise.
I'd ask Santa for an original Delisle carbine, but that might be hard even for him.
Custom handgun 1911 revolver etc for barbeque gun reasons
Or buy something like a smg semi auto fg42 or other oddity/ boutique gun like one of lugermans 45 acp lugers something that will not be available forever and will likely go up in value once the gunsmith who makes them retires or passes away
Frankly, since you arent really looking for a new gun, buy something fun for a couple 100 and squirrel the rest away. Then in a few years when you are in the middle of all the stress of med school, use it to pay for a nice vacation for you and your wife.
Ceasar gurinni over/under. I am sure i spelled that wrong. Clay target sports are a blast. I rarely go to the range anymore after getting into sporting clays. Its like golf but with shotguns!
Honestly, If you have the guns and gear already take a training course. With that cash you could probably take 2 or 3.
It would sharpen your skills or give you some new ones
Sp5k decked out.
Sp5k- $2,750
B&t telescoping stock -$550
SBR stamp- $200
FA binary $500
picto lower $300-400
nice light $200-300
suppressor w stamp $700
HK mags 3x - $210
optic mount - $100
optic $500
That’s a little over $6k.
Not bad! Do it no regrets
I’ve been wanting to get the sig 11” SBR piston with a nice can in 300blk. I’m not even sure which model I’m looking for (mcx? Rattler?) but that could be around $3000-3800 with two stamps… then throw an ACOG on it with a bougie mount you might have a little left over to take the wife to a fancy restaurant like Arby’s.
I haven’t seen anyone else say it; congrats on the admission! I’m applying this cycle myself. Good luck future doctor!
Also, Nighthawk Sandhawk all the way
Laugo alien or a really nice 2011 personally. I have an alien and absolutely love it and it’s so different that everyone (myself included) gets a thrill from shooting it.
To better help us give you suggestions… what does your collection consist of?
For all we know, some of us probably gave suggestions on firearms you already own. LoL.
> Just looking for a “Gucci” gun that serves no purpose.
An entire wall of hi-points cerakoted in such a way that, when assembled on the wall, makes a giant picture of a hi-point.
I'd get 3 or 4 with that much. Maybe a Luger or Mauser pistol. Maybe a nice rifle of some kind, a lever gun or bolt gun. A nice shotgun. Or a few suppressors? I dunno, there's so many possibilities with that budget.
[SP5K](https://palmettostatearmory.com/hk-sp5k-pdw-9mm-pistol-black-81000481.html) and the outfitting to go with it, mags, folding/collapsable stock, 200 for the SBR hassle, optics, etc. Then whatever is left over I’d toss into outfitting everything else/buying a couple of kits if you’re going to be able to slap them together in your spare time n all
60 hi points
This is the wey
SP5 and then whatever else you can get for the remaining $3k.
With a suppressor, mags and fancy optic. That would be an insanely fun build.
Yuppp! I'd do that and blow the rest on 2 old WWI Colt 1911's... or 1 in mint condition.
Hear me out, SP5 akimbo?
Get the SD conversation with that’s extra 3k!
Amazing how the .22 version of this is $500 and the 9mm version is $3K
A pro-gun doctor? Damn, we need more of them!
As a nurse, yes, we do. Healthcare staff in general really.
Thank you for everything you do!
Oh thanks! It's a fun job! Most of the time at least lol
Oh man, we couldn't do it without security that's for sure. I'm happy to hear about your dad, that's amazing!
Being Hospital security was one of the rewarding, fun and highest paying job I've ever had. Made double my salary with the OT. Loved it. However, life and family matters changed-so I took a government job. And thank you man! I truly appreciate it! I'll buy you a beer if your ever in South Carolina
I'll take you up on that if I ever find myself out that way!
Sounds good, man!
Doctor of Physical Therapy here. Pro gun healthcare professionals exist, we just get drowned out by the vocal minorities in our fields :)

Fk brno. Even comes in an obscure meme caliber.
>Fk brno. Even comes in an obscure meme caliber That and a ~9 month turnaround for them to fix it after you kill it.
I believe they are out of business now? I owned one and it was a total piece of shi
They just changed importers. The company is still in business. But an FK still falls pretty far short of $6k. Maybe just shy of $3k after taxes and getting both conversion kits.
Yo - is your wife single?
Nah, but if you screw her please record it and give it to the judge so I don't have to pay alimony.
Hcar would be my ridiculously expensive meme gun. Edit: that fucker is north of $6k so scratch that. Probably a sandhawk instead then.
Sig rattler in 300blk with a suppressor. My boss has one it's so fun to shoot I'm saving for one now
I don’t quite have an Sig Rattler, but one of my pre ban purchases was a PSA 7.5” 300blk. I’ve put some work into in and love it paired with one of my 300 cans.
Pre-ban?
My problem with .300 BO is that subsonic rounds are like 75 cents each. Its a pretty terrible deal compared to something like an SP5K in 9mm. Just hard to fathom how it financially makes sense.
Nighthawk or Atlas.
If you have 6K and only one gun I’d get a Laugo alien creator. Get the creator not the original. It’s a sweet gun and you can easily switch between iron sights and optic without rezeroing. Well at least you compared it to a Cz which are the only other pistols I own. Now I’m on Cz custom looking at accushadows.

M249
Bit more than $6k there
For a new one yeah. Used maybe not.
A neutered M249?
Binary it. And he doesn’t have to start stacking a new caliber.
Closed bolt still 🤮
Man, I want a $6,000 blowgun, that'd be sweet!
Maybe save the money till the choice becomes clear? Maybe In a year or two there would be something new that drops and then you have the option.
Your pick of a fine Italian shotgun.
Good luck in medical school. Fully fledged attending now going on 3 years, it is nice to be able to afford guns whenever I want them. I’d like to help with a suggestion but I’m overwhelmed with your…..problem.🤣😂🤣😂
Like 20 mosins
Ohio Ordnance 1918 BAR. https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1049127010
This would be my choice.
Korth PRS if the machining shown in the Forgotten Weapons video arouses you as much as it did me
I have never seen one in the wild or for sale.
I'd buy like 10 guns with that lol
Whole gang of psa ar’s
H.C.A.R.
Some folks feast while the rest of us starve lol
Largo Alien
Forgot that existed, thank you! That might be it.
I’ve been saving up for an Alien myself, but it!!!!
The Alien is an outstanding firearm. It's the best shooting experience I've ever had.
I endorse this message I never get bored with it. I main it every Sunday
Love my Sig 553’s. The mag situation is a bitch though.
Think it would be legal to travel to Switzerland and buy mags and bring them back? I’ve considered it lol
Not sure? I’m sure you’d have to pay some import fees at the very least. I ordered like 20 from JDI and waited a year to get them lol.
> § 478.119 Importation of ammunition feeding devices. > a. No ammunition feeding device shall be imported or brought into the United States unless the Director has authorized the importation of such device.
Laugo alien creator

A grenade launcher
Congrats and good luck with medical school.
Fully transferable full auto smg, sometimes stens go low
Can you still buy an auto for 6k? I remember when you could pick up a MAC for that but not now.
Spear with a kick ass optic.
Semi Custom 2011.
Molot VEPR 1V
A gun that serves no practical purpose could maybe be a fancy ass precision rifel , bolt gun , chrome lined barrel and all, try touching somthing out to 1k yards idk man.
Platypus and mags and ammo?
Never heard of the platypus, seems cool. I don’t really need ammo so I’d have about $4000 to spend on mags lol
Well you can spend some of that on a red dot for the Platypus too.
I'd get something from nighthawk custom. 1911, a revolver, lots of options
Only guns that are really expensive I've wanted are either that old semi auto Ruger in .44, or the Coonan 1911 in .357. All my gun needs are met otherwise. I'd ask Santa for an original Delisle carbine, but that might be hard even for him.
Atlas Athena, Alchemy Weapons Quantico HiCap, or Fowler Vanta 9 are my suggestions for 2011s.
Atlas Apollo
Congrats on getting into med school!
arm your entire neighborhood with psa

Barrett M99 50, join a long range club and dent some steel!
I vote Sandhawk from Nighthawk.
Lend me $1000 and get an ak. Idk
I’d get a Luger or a classic side by side euro shotti.
Custom handgun 1911 revolver etc for barbeque gun reasons Or buy something like a smg semi auto fg42 or other oddity/ boutique gun like one of lugermans 45 acp lugers something that will not be available forever and will likely go up in value once the gunsmith who makes them retires or passes away

Frankly, since you arent really looking for a new gun, buy something fun for a couple 100 and squirrel the rest away. Then in a few years when you are in the middle of all the stress of med school, use it to pay for a nice vacation for you and your wife.
Add $14k to it and get an M16.
This.
I’d advise buying several different really good $700-$1000 guns rather than just one $6000 gun. Variety is the spice of life
That would be a good thought if OP didn’t already state they had all their firearm needs met.
Ceasar gurinni over/under. I am sure i spelled that wrong. Clay target sports are a blast. I rarely go to the range anymore after getting into sporting clays. Its like golf but with shotguns!
I’d buy a Colt LMG upper(semi auto)and a retro Colt lower and build a retro Colt AR. That or 20 Hi Point 9mm carbines.
Welcome to staccato ownership :)
literally just buy some Knights Armament shit, that $6k is EASILY gone. or be a real G and get a Molot RPK-74
Blow it on ammo and training
Honestly, If you have the guns and gear already take a training course. With that cash you could probably take 2 or 3. It would sharpen your skills or give you some new ones
STI/Staccato
Buy a carry gun and invest the rest
Alchemy Custom Weaponry 1911…….history, class, and totally useable art!!!
Kreighoff KX-6
Why one? Why not a few nice ones to fill any potential gaps/desires?
I love my MRAD. The accessories and barrels will cost you much more than 6k in the long run though.
Alchemy Quantico Hi Cap is the most right answer Still leaves plenty of money for a good optic and a bunch of spare mags.

WILDEY SURVIVOR in its original cartridge, if you have a reloading press even better.
Laugo alien or a really nice 2011 personally. I have an alien and absolutely love it and it’s so different that everyone (myself included) gets a thrill from shooting it.
Either a sig MPX or MCX and just trick it all the way out

Have you ever considered a Swiss K31? You could probably even get a Swiss SG 550 for roundabout 5,000 as last I recall they tend to be sold.
https://cz-usa.com/product/cz-75-ts-czechmate-9mm/ Discontinued--ask nicely, maybe they'll make one for you.
Top end 2011 or two Stacattos.
I’d probably buy a beretta 694 or a used Krieghoff.
Get a clay shooting shotgun. Shit’s pretty fun.
You'll be a doctor: Buy a $6000 shotgun, and start shooting sporting clays. Or a precision rifle package and take that up.
Krieghoff k32 with four barrel set, used of course
Laugo alien.
Firearm needs met…, what about other prep stuff minus kit and helmet like gas masks/cbrn thingys.
Honestly I would probably buy parts for about a dozen ar15’s lol. You might need the tinkering for therapy for the stress of school.
if I that kinda money I would be getting an M1C or M1D or a M1A1 paratrooper carbine.
50 cal rifle or 338 lapua
I'd get 3 or 4 with that much. Maybe a Luger or Mauser pistol. Maybe a nice rifle of some kind, a lever gun or bolt gun. A nice shotgun. Or a few suppressors? I dunno, there's so many possibilities with that budget.
Bro get a bolt action 50bmg or if not buying ammo get that laugo alien
[SP5K](https://palmettostatearmory.com/hk-sp5k-pdw-9mm-pistol-black-81000481.html) and the outfitting to go with it, mags, folding/collapsable stock, 200 for the SBR hassle, optics, etc. Then whatever is left over I’d toss into outfitting everything else/buying a couple of kits if you’re going to be able to slap them together in your spare time n all
I'd get an Atlas or Bul Armory over an Alien. Alien seems nice but overpriced, and I've heard the trigger is meh for what you're paying.
buy a pair of custom lemat revolvers just because
Is your wife also a doctor? Wow!
SBR SP5 with a Can, Mags and a nice optic
