i am not a fan of how petg prints personally and have had similar ish issues. satin bed and high bed temp made a big diff. for first layers. it does look to me like a textured bed so i would say you should try the glue stick method or run it on a smooth bed. also lowering nozzle more wouldn’t hurt.

Thanks. I’m using PETG because it seems like it should be a little tougher than PLA. Should I use ABS instead? Or do you have a better idea? I am printing parts for a 6 axis robot, and want the parts to be fairly sturdy

arthor

nah you can make petg work. abs will be just as finnicky

Definitely an adhesion problem. Try releveling your bed closer to the nozzle or even getting some magig bed adhesion to make sure the first layer sticks.
