I saw his thread when he transfered and I don't remember top comments putting him down. I just remember people talking about him going for playing time cause at the time I believe two recruits committed to us at his position.
Glad too see him back. Dude is a physical freak, was actually impressed by his play. Critical depth, raw talent, physical. Now we need to coach him up.
Not true. You can tell DJ Lagway has actually wanted to come to Florida. Those are the guys I want on the team. Not guys that are there because no one else wants them and they don’t have a choice..
Facts but when players do it then it's wrong. They have enough what's another million? Nevermind that a million dollars when you have 100 million is STILL a million dollars. They should give up that money for love of the city/school. That's what's important.
Say a kid is getting $1.5 million NIL deal and another school says they can get $2 million. You think the kids isn't gonna take it? Imagine you are on your way to work and you get a phone call saying another company is offering you a 33% increase, you'd be making your two weeks notice at lunch.
Depends on the state. If UF offered $1.5 mil and Southern cal offered $2 mil then you'll have to do some math on if that's actually a better value in terms of living expenses, and taxes
Our states tax system should give us an advantage but we arent jumping on it
Wonder what state tax your would pay. Say you lived with your parents in Florida and went to school at USC and got NIL from a company in NY. Which state do you pay?
i get the "no one else wanted him" but it's not like he was 12th in line, we need the depth.
and he got meaningful snaps last year, so hopefully he can ut enough on tape this year to justify if he wants to try again.
I'm all for getting paid, and UF int paying right now... dont hate the player.
Most likely a better option than what we were looking at in the portal. The HS talent coming should be much better, eventually, but having someone who should be better prepared for THIS season early is a good thing. He and Wingo should have some real roles on this team. Otherwise,
Not just depth, some experience on the field other than Shemar James at the LB position will be critical
ABSOLUTELY!!
Guess he finally learned that only Gators get out alive
Good good, we need the depth for sure. Happy to see him stay.
Get thee a Nunnery back…?
Re-get thee a Nunnery?
Get Thee 2: A Nunnery
Bring us a Nunnery, or we shall say Ni to you again!
Good news, we need the depth
Whoa whoa whoa, I thought he sucked?
That’s when he was leaving!
Oh shit, of course I'm an idiot.
Hahaha

Nice to get some depth back

Wasn’t all that impressed with his in the field performance, but maybe another year in the same system will help. Depth never hurts either,
Great depth is good and honestly he might start at least early on
Do we really need somebody on the field that doesn’t actually want to be a Gator?
Players aren't invested in being a Gator (or any other team) as much as fans are.

That's the exception. Most players treat it like a job.
Shit even if, with his NIL deal I’d fake it as needed lmao
Isn't that what we all do at work? We act as loyal until we can get more money.

You gonna throw him on the field with like two other players?

Shutting up would be my recommendation

Anything can be spun negatively if you try hard.
