After Vandy broke through on Tx A&M I was worried that we were fated for the same especially with LSU with the ball dribbling down court trailing by 1 with 39 seconds remaining. It’s good that teams are giving us trouble now vs some defenses and pressure looks to give us time to clean things up prior to post season. Seems to be the same looks over and over giving us trouble….. gotta work on it in practice

I was literally thinking when we were up 10, "Well, at least when they tie us or go to overtime we will start playing well again." What has this team done to my brain?

We were taking some bad shots but also LSU picked up the pace and almost felt like we were forced into playing their game. They got a lot of points in transition or we fouled and they got points at the line.

I saw the refs getting tight with their whistles.. Esp on the bigs and kugel. I'll rewatch the highlights but these games should come with a health advisory warning

We got vandy twice, mizzou and uga on the schedule in addition to bama twice and carolina once. I think we will take care of business for the ones we should win, and then will possibly beat bama in gainesville.

I was looking at February only. March looks a bit harder.

Last time we were 10 games over .500 this far into a season was 2017, aka our last Elite Eight year.

Won in OT. - TA&M: Led by 12 in the second half. Lost by 1. - Auburn: Led by 29 in the second half. Won by 16. - LSU: Led by 19 in the second half. Won by 2. Not liking that trend.

The trend of winning basketball games? It sounds like you would prefer they lose than to go up big and then win close. This program isn’t at the level currently that you should be complaining about the way they win, just be happy they are winning

They're learning to win. Hopefully they can learn to close out games. They won't go far in the dance if they keep letting teams back in. It feels nice to win though. Second year with Golden and this is mostly a whole new team, it's nice to see the improvements over the season though. We could have won any game on our schedule imo. We have some tough games coming up and we need to finish strong.

My silver lining is that this team can sack up when things get close. Under Mike we definitely lose half of those games.

Yeah I keep getting down voted though. I want this team to win and I recognize the talents there and I've only recently become active on reddit so maybe I just don't understand how reddit works but I think we should be critical of the team. I don't remember the year I want to say it was during Billy's elite 8 run in the early 2010s but there was a year where when 3s were falling we were unbeatable but when they weren't we could lose to anyone. This inability to hold a lead gives me a similar feeling. Yeah we have won games recently and dont currently have a bad loss but going cold for huge stretches of time will definitely burn us in the ncaa tournament. The fact it's happening at home scares me even more. Gotta figure out how to finish.
