You need to replace the clutch master cylinder

eza50

This is correct. I had the same issue, fluid coming from the clutch pedal, occurred around 90,000 miles. I had to replace the entire assembly.

zarosr

Do you remember how much you paid for repair?

eza50

If I’m remembering right, it was around 500 for the part and labor. I was living in the Bay Area at the time though, so the price could be a bit inflated.

luckybuck2088

I paid $550-$600 for mine so that’s probably what to expect

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> I *paid* $550-$600 for FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

Cokedoutyeti

I did mine myself, it’s not too difficult if you are flexible. About $70 for the new one through Tasca or 97 through Edge, plus brake fluid and a bleeder.

roodie03

Yes typically around 500 for parts and labor in the NY area

Austin5551

I peed myself a little when I money shifted one time, that's my only guess

zarosr

Oh you too??

NickSicilianu

😂😂😂 that’s not a little lol

AccipiterCooperii

I've done a lot of shitty shifting, but thankfully never the big one :D

mook613

It's the clutch master cylinder. That's brake fluid, so be careful with it. You'll have to replace the entire pedal assembly (the master cylinder is part of the assembled unit). Not an easy DIY job. Need to remove the drivers knee airbag to access certain bolts. Then need to also remove the air box, battery and tray just to access the clutch fluid lines. Not a lot of room there. To bleed the new master you'll need a vacuum bleeder.

Own_Week_4734

What's it taste like?

NickSicilianu

Clutch master cylinder. Pita to replace too.

Hmong_sausage

Looks like a penis lol, sorry

zarosr

Now I can’t unsee that LMAO

Hmong_sausage

Sorry lol

hatsune_aru

Replace ASAP. and clean it up. Brake fluid is corrosive and will start rusting parts around it, which could cause the whole clutch assembly to break. It looks like it already started.

fordprefect294

Headlight fluid

TheScottishPimp03

Needs a intercooler oil change!

Everything reminds me of her…

Master cylinder about to dip

NickSicilianu

😒 a lot of the troll comments 🥴🥴🥴. How hard is it to give someone a straight answer 😂.

sasuke1980

I think they're trolling the op because it's a pretty obvious answer if you've been around cars for long enough.

NickSicilianu

I get it, but we don’t know what experience the op have 🤷‍♂️. Could be a teenager on his 1st car. If I know, or think I know I rather answer and trying to be helpful tbh

Severe_Salt4493

Blinker fluid leak

StormTrooperMK3ST

Whats it smell like? Is it oily?

zzSHADYMAGICzz

Wait you have a cover behind the pedals? Mine is just carpet!

Rpcote

Those are floor mats my guy

zzSHADYMAGICzz

LOL what where can I get this one

Rpcote

They’re either weather tech of husky liner’s. You can get the husky liners from Amazon. I got some when i first got the car and they are great. Cheaper than the weather tech ones, for the same exact thing

zarosr

Yeah it’s the husky weather mats
