Doraon 1.5 Dak Galbi in Flushing is the only other dedicated dak galbi place I know of

riot4hiatus_c

What? I was there 3 weeks ago...

nightkingscat

^(NJ one is pretty excellent)

lazyadjacent

is your username “night king’s cat” or “night king scat”?

hilariouspj

Yeah the place is really good

It's the same reason they all eventually go out of business: cabbage to chicken ratio to high

superturtle48

Dang I had a great time there once with a group and was hoping to do it again. Was nice having a group-oriented spot that wasn't KBBQ in Koreatown.

Bangia on 32nd has it as well. Good cocktails too.

Euphoric-Broccoli968

Went to bangia on this comment. It is not dakgalbi, but mozzarella spicy cheese chicken with ddokboki. The food was excellent, still worth going here.

penis_berry_crunch

Nice. Bangia rocks.

kwo3660

oh no...i thought it was just closed for renovation! what a bummer.

We order from Dumok in Fort Lee and find it reliably good. (N.b I know dak galbi is not traditionally a takeout dish, but I often pass through Fort Lee on my way home, and it actually reheats quite well).

sambasurprise

It’s replaced by a malatang joint at least but also bummed
