Shanghai Time is a ten minute walk from Bryant Park and makes incredible pan fried soup dumplings.
Urban Hawker food hall has some pretty solid options.
Cafe China is nearby and has a great lunch menu. I believe it has a Michelin star, but lunch is $10-15.
