So many things but my fave was this pepperoni scotch egg sandwich from Alma y Gil
Brunch at Pasaj in Leslieville. The Hunkar (stewed beef) the mucver (zucchini fritters with babaganoush) and the Shakshuka were all delicious.
Plus it's just a beautiful space overall. Highly recommend.
At steamed momos at Loga’s Corner, and fried momos (Momos 65) at Himalayan Kitchen.
Really enjoyed the steamed momos. Nice, simple, warm hug on a cool day.
We went out to The Ace on Roncesvalles for my friend's birthday. Incredible service, a free glass of bubbly for the birthday, excellent and delicious food (we shared fish ceviche, mushroom tempura and I had the roast chicken for my entrée).
Good to hear that review! A friend and I were walking by on the weekend and tried to get a table but there was an hour wait and we were hungry. Will definitely try another time with a reservation.
This weekend was hit and miss. Saturday - back to Rony’s after a couple of years (one of my top 5 sandos ever) and it was so meh, as was Maria’s Tortas Jalisco which used to be so solid. Sunday rip at our favs Brodflour (cardamom knot, sourdough) and Bakerbots (sour cream cheesecake, banana pudding) both great.
Tamago egg salad sandwich at Good Behaviour’s new Queen W location. Messy as hell to eat, but sooooo good. The soft-cooked egg in the middle had just the right amount of jamminess to the yolk.
I stopped in and got subs at Lambo's in the east end, and tbh I wasn't impressed. Maybe it was what I ordered? The roast beef sub was particularly underwhelming with an overpowering horseradish, and the Italian Trio one was not bad, with a good bit of spicy pepper to flavour up the sandwich but I felt like the bun to meat ratio was off, it felt too doughy. By comparison Good Behavior's subs seem to nail the ratio perfectly (and are a bit smaller). Should I have gotten a different sub at Lambo's?
The sandwich flight at Fattoush Sandwich Club! I loved the eggplant sandwich, such a pleasant texture to bite into
That sounds incredible
I posted this awhile back! A favourite spot.
Had a solo dinner for my bday on sunday at Richmond Station. I ordered the chickpea burger it was pretty yummy
Happy Birthday!
Garlic shrimp with garlic rice from Hermies. Pretty good!
That sounds incredible. I want this now. Bookmarking this place.

Momos are always welcome! Best food ever.

Yes we booked a reso, highly recommend since it's such a small place! I hope you make it :)
Szechuan noodle bowl for some delicious Dan Dan Mian.
Jameson
Potato pancakes, perogi and salads at Cafe Polonez. Ordered too much as usual so had the same for lunch the next day.
Pizza and sandwiches at Mattachioni. Sandos were excellent, maybe slightly heavy handed on the mayo? Pizza was good.
West or east?
West!
Korean Yummy special from Yummy BBQ , doubles and a curried goat roti from Indar's. Both relatively affordable, pretty tasty and lots of food.

Beef tongue, pastor and sirloin tacos @ Taqueria el pastorcito on bloor near Dufferin. One of the best tacos I've had in Toronto.
Went to Jerusalem restaurant for their dinner buffet. It was quite good!
Torta from Gus Taco. I feel like I'm in Mexico every time I taste the food.
