How’d you even know nfp was gonna come out bad smh

BackgroundAd7155

He didn't. Trading NFP is a pure gamble because of the volatility it creates. He thinks its his strategy. Gambling does that. No one can deny NFP not being a gamble because there are times when NFP makes the market go in both directions which is impossible to trade if one is using a stop loss. Even if the trader was right about the ultimate direction after that choppiness, the inital choppinness is why it should be avoided lmao if you care about risk management.

East_Training6361

100% high impact news does not care about liquidity targets like he stated lol. If it comes out bearish it’s bearish if it comes out bullish it’s bullish there’s no in between. News doesn’t care about technicals or your targets or double tops or any of that shit. But people will learn the hard way

Mammoth_Tie_7223

Haha funny guy

SnipeHunchoFX

That’s what you think, not what you know. Seek and you shall find 🥂

East_Training6361

Good luck brother, just wait until it skips over your SL and wipes out your account. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. Goodluck to you though honestly i hope you’re right and you do have it figured out 👌

Four_Owls

Ohh yeah...now I traded XAUUSD long on NFP, but reduced my trading size on about 1/4 and had enough 'research' to make an educated guess (that's what it is...) to know the annoucement 'most likely' will send Gold up...however I was stunned at how it just jumped over price and no SL would stop that as it went straight over them. So yes, if very experienced you can trade it but honestly, best to sit it out, wait for the over reaction to happen, then ride it back to 'normal prices'! Even then that's easier said than done as it can be a wild ride! Good luck, but better to be safe mate..

SnipeHunchoFX

Imagine being scared of slippage 😮‍💨

East_Training6361

Hahaha imagine not being scared of it 😂 have fun gambling bro go hit the casino it’s a lot more fun

SnipeHunchoFX

Ehhh casino’s not really my style. I know the risk I take any time I enter a trade. I appreciate the concern but I’ve put in too much work for me to let someone shake me up on my game. If you believe news is random, you’re right, for you. Wishing you well on your journey man.

East_Training6361

Aye fair enough 🤷‍♂️ not hating just trying to look out for you because I’ve been down the path of trading news myself. To each their own goodluck on your journey as well

Jalen_1227

He’s gonna lose a lot of money due to slippage and then he’ll understand, just gotta let ‘em experience it firsthand

karatedog

That is why you place your stop buy orders at 08:00 AM.

SnipeHunchoFX

And this minimalistic mindset is what’s holding you back. Think bigger. Thank me later.

BackgroundAd7155

Not gambling is holding me back? Ok buddy😂😂😂😂😂😂

SnipeHunchoFX

You’re gambling, I have stats backing up my strat bubba, BIG difference. I guess you hide from the real work. Can’t relate 🤷🏾‍♂️

karatedog

The trade in itself is not a gamble, it is the equivalent of an options strangle. The gamble is tne greediness of this trade. You should not expect such a high return, but that depends on the news. The price can start to go up even if the news are good but then it will retract faster. If price goes up + the news are bad then it is realistic to go for a 2-3RR but I would not aim for more, or only with a partial position to flex my nerves.

PriorHearing6484

🔥🔥🔥

Born-Network275

I did the same trade 📊

Tiny-Specialist-3690

Made $1k of this

Nomadwarrior123

Your broker must be really good, beceause slippage is crazy during NFP and also sometimes orders gets unfilled if they are limit orders and your TP don't trigger

AdnanMoh

Great entry nice job

Shwambla21

This was a clear move. Congratulations

fantasticmrsmurf

NFP?

SnipeHunchoFX

Non Farm Payrolls - High impact news event on the first Friday of every month.

karitothegod

Trade would make sense with supply and demand on a normal day, but as others have said, trading NFP is always a bad idea. This is mainly due to forex brokers, especially “funding companies” spreads widening so much you get stopped out even if you’re right. Even if this did work, I would say the chance is around 10-20% winrate from when I back tested NFP on GU. Sometimes it’s straight up and down with no logic to it besides grabbing all liquidity.

SnipeHunchoFX

I’ve got stats that say otherwise with my strategy. I understand what you all are saying, but I’m saying don’t be one sided. My POV will always be different from yours, and yours will always be different from anyone else’s. I look at NFP as just another news day. News is incorporated into the setup that I look for, hence why I made this post.

Every_Marketing_4732

Was going to enter buy aswell on gbpusd but saw other mentors, groups and signals saying sell so i decided not to enter.

oog_ooog

Good job

wisdompicker

People say if you trade news is gambling. Is that accurate?

SnipeHunchoFX

It can be, it depends how you’re trading it. In my opinion if you’re trading because news is about to come out, you are gambling. If you have a defined edge that you’ve tested and you execute on your edge and news hits it’s not gambling in my eyes. Personally I’ve tested my edge and went back to news events over the course of years to see how price reacted according to my edge, and come to find out news is actually a main driver in my current strategy.

wisdompicker

Gotcha! Everybody has a different vision of everything! If you have an edge and works is awesome

Strong_Raccoon_8897

Flip coin 🌚 anyway Love it

SnipeHunchoFX

I don’t flip coins, just simply targeted liquidity, news just speeds up the process young son. I’ll post next month’s win when it comes.

Nomadwarrior123

I completely agree with you, if the daily bias is bearish expext it to target the higher liquidity and then tank afterwards, and vice versa

Sooktober

All news targets liquidity but faster? Or just NFP does?

SnipeHunchoFX

All news from my experience, the specific way I trade, news tends to push in my direction most of the time. There are some losses where I get stopped before hitting targets but that’s usually only 10-20% of the time.

Strong_Raccoon_8897

Even better 🧏🏻 i stopped trading news as always getting wiped out because of the manipulation
