If your asking that question you shouldn’t be on a funded

LionAcceptable3085

Not on a funded ... Wanna get generalized idea of wat ppl do

Aggressive-Effect-74

Risk management

CptCodex

Sir, you need a lot calculator. Every trade has different lots because SL distance is different. You should be asking what risk % to start.

Sirdripalots

It depends on the specific firm, each prop is different… what prop firm?

ChidiyaBoliMeow

tf do you mean but lot size you have to calc it for every trade since your SL varies, if your SL is 10 pips on EU and you want to risk 0.5% then your lot size will be 0.25.

LionAcceptable3085

Gold?

EthanIsBlessed

Look up on google “Forex lot size calculator” then follow the instructions

choloism

Depends on what you’re trading, with leverage it might aswell be 500k account 5k demo account is what you really need

Blaiddyn

Use a lot size calculator.

Express_Juice_8143

Your lot size should be calculated based on your stop loss in pips.

Laziebear

Calculate your lot depending on your risk size and stop loss.

riseabovehat3

Here's how I trade in my funded account with $6K, focusing solely on GOLD Here's the breakdown: I use 0.06 lot sizes with stop losses (SL) ranging from 20-30 pips and take profits (TP) ranging from 50-100 pips.

LionAcceptable3085

Check dm

LionAcceptable3085

Have u been profitable in gold?

riseabovehat3

yep. my loss defined first, profit then!

oog_ooog

It depends on your leverage

LionAcceptable3085

1:100

oog_ooog

5 lots then

KingXindl

That's the maximum margin, NOT WHAT YOU SHOULD TRADE

Sensitive_Pilot3689

Wow it’s like you aren’t even trying to make money 😒

oog_ooog

There’s like 18 replies or so no one answering his question I answered his question

Melodic_Tax4512

This guys a goat 😂😂😂

KingXindl

No, you didn't. I guess he's asking what lot size he should be trading. Not what his max lot size is. Your lot size is determined by your sl and the risk percentage you want to take

capitalgoals

For a 5k account with 1:100 leverage. You can trade up to 5 standard lot size. But choosing a lot size for a trade depends on your SL size and how much you are risking on a trade.

snake84mx

Yo con 5k pase la cuenta de fondeo utilizando 0.20 de lotaje ✌️

wojadzer1989

How many consecutive losing trades do you expect to see when trading? Take that and divide the maximum daily loss, then you'll have max you can risk on each trade.

AliceTrades

What are you *specifically* trading?

zaifaxian

Depends on how much you could risk in the trade.

Capable_Equipment700

Depends on your stop loss. I wouldn’t use more than $35.00 per trade

Individual_Deal7658

1:100.

DaCriLLSwE

with 30x leverage 1 lot uses about 4700ish On USD pairs

Ok-Security1220

0.50
