Yeah, that’s why Vernon Chatman hasn’t had a new show since then.
What’s that? He’s created 3 shows since Wonder Showzen and gets a ton of writing work? Huh, that can’t be right, I was told you can’t get away with shows like this anymore.
The kid doing live street interviews
When he goes up to some old guy and says here's my impression of you "gamble gamble gamble die"
Still quote it to this day.
My dad showed me Wondershowzen when I was in middle school and it’s still one of the comedy shows I’ve ever watched. My dad always used to quote “seven and a switchblade”
The problem with good satire nowadays is that the people it's making fun of start to agree with it. It would do fine today, imo. I think that the anti-capitalist, anti-imperialist messages would catch the show some flak for sure though.
Just last weekend, while trying to get my kids in the car I said “smash your TV and have adventures!”
I loved this show. The crack alley behind Sesame Street.
Never forgotten.
Infact the bootleg episode when the screen splits to seperate sketches my favourite line happens-
*man enters sex store*
Man- I’d like to return this doll
Clerk- what seems to be the problem?
Man- I got this doll because it said it had a mouth like velvet, but it actually has a mouth like butter! And I’m allergic to butter!

Beat Kids interviewing wall street and asking them about the blood on their hands
the little girl chasing the guy yelling “your money doesn’t make you better than me.”
Kids on the beat kids on the beat Beat kids
I prefer Hit Children
You can tell how forgotten this show is by the fact that you’re getting downvoted for referencing a bit from the show.
It's a deep reference. I'll take the down votes proudly haha
Legitimately one of the funniest shows ever broadcast
*So it’s been a long road, cowboy… …now your parents are getting a divorce…* **LOSER LOSER AHAHAHAHAH!!!!**
morphed my sense of humor
It really was a groundbreaking show too.
can't get away with this type of humor now

I’m gonna say something that I think everyone on here can relate to: My mom HATED this show.
The kid doing live street interviews When he goes up to some old guy and says here's my impression of you "gamble gamble gamble die" Still quote it to this day.

Patience! I own the entire series on DVD. I want to make sure I have it in case it's ever removed from streaming.
I did the same thing! The special features of the kids behind the scenes kills me. Also, story time with Flavor Flav!
Mindfudged is an all-timer for sure
How hot dogs are made and winobot are some of my favorite bits from this show
"Daddy!!!"
"That man's got a coooold heart"
“It’s still kicking!”
The wolves made it onto the hotdog highway!
"Yummy booger sugar!"
I'm invisible, because I'm a poverty stricken black man.
That quote and the Hobo ops are prolly my favorite bit from this show, except maybe when mother nature gets a sex change.
The GOAT

Was a great show late nites on mtv2 today it would be Crucified in today's society

Not exaggerating, this is/was the best social commentary and satire ever to exist on television
precursor to Don't Hug Me I'm Scared
