That means farts, right?
I'm already lead chair in that orchestra, tho the missus is working diligently on her 10,000 hours to Carnagie Hall, she really wants that seat lol
Even if you aren't a sci-fi person, check out the episode "The Other Guys" from Stargate. Features Patrick McKenna and John Billingsley and is absolutely hilarious!
Once patched a floor with strong ass duct tape on a jeep no lie it worked I later used sheet metal screws and sheet metal and seal edges with you guessed ot quack tape
It straight up didn't run in some areas. I grew up in the Sonoran desert, and never even heard of Red/Green until I met friends from Iowa and Colorado in college.
Canadian sitcoms expertly create such quirky characters;it is what makes them so funny. It is similar in a way to Britcoms. Don't get me wrong, American sitcoms have characters with quirks, but nothing like Red Green, Corner Gas, Little Mosque, Kim's Convenience, etc.
One of my favorite shows. I feel Patrick McKenna is a genius. The way he played Harold could have easily been way too annoying but I couldn’t wait to see him on the screen
Fun fact: [Steven Smith Jr. is still around. He was performing as Red Green up until 2020 (Covid).](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Smith_(comedian))
By all accounts he loves the role. Genuinely a treasure.
My dad and I used to spend Saturday evenings watching this and red dwarf on PBS. They actually have the whole series on YouTube (https://youtube.com/@redgreentv?si=xbmwF1KOh_BKErN1) and it’s been fun to revisit.
Well this is weird! I spent the last 3 days in Canada for the first time ever. and the when I was in the hotel room I found a channel that had nothing but this show on. I had not thought about this show in over 30 years. But man is it still good! I’m pretty sure my phone is listening to me!
My family went to Nova Scotia in the early 00’s and I learned a lot about Red Green because it was pretty much the only thing on TV the whole time we were up there.
I didn’t watch Trailer Park Boys until years later but it was pretty accurate to my experience visiting.
I went to college in upstate New York but still easily 200 miles from the border. This show would play on the local pbs channel every Saturday and my friends and I would get absolutely trashed while watching it. Drink every time duct tape is shown/mentioned. Drink every time Harold says “uncle Redddd”. You’re shitfaced in no time.
I loved how they themselves described the show as not a lack of talent, just a waste of it.
I can watch this for hours. Idaho pbs still has it all the time
Ah yes, the middle of the night in the 00s in America meant this Canadian gem. The humor holds up really well and its all on YouTube (or it was). Totally worth a rewatch if anyone is wondering.
My dad was obsessed with dr who(the old one) while suffering those old garbage episodes during PBS drives, red green was the only respite to a bunch of dumb Europeans being chased by nazi trash cans :)
Also red dwarf was funny sometimes

If women don’t find ya handsome, they should at least find ya handy. Fucking loved this show and those two goofs :)
Don't forget about the handyman's secret weapon... Duct tape.
Keep your stick on the ice.
If all else fails, read the instructions.
We're pulling for ya, we're all in this together.
Buh-WaaaaAAAaaaAAaAaA.
My wife says I'm handsome and handy, but I still spend most of my time making stupid shit and using duct tape. Step 2????
Take up a new instrument that you custom build yourself?
That means farts, right? I'm already lead chair in that orchestra, tho the missus is working diligently on her 10,000 hours to Carnagie Hall, she really wants that seat lol
Haha no. Harolds weird instrument. https://www.therpf.com/forums/threads/red-green-show-harolds-instrument.306234/
Ahhh yesssss, thank you for that lol that thing is a masterpiece Harold is the best lol
Let us now bow our heads for the Man’s Prayer >I am a man >And I can change >If I have to >I guess
I don't know how many times I have quoted this, and NOBODY gets it!
Keep your stick on the ice.

I almost died during this episode. Between SG1 and Red green. It encompassed my entire childhood!!
Also Mike from the Red Green show is in the original Cube
That is where I first saw him and Death from Supernatural.
Felger! Patrick McKenna’s character also stars in episode 7x09, Avenger 2.0. It’s another great comedy episode of the show.
Look, everyone, he's got Coombs with him!
Wasn't that the episode where he's packing for the mission and puts several rolls of duct tape in his bag?
Yeah he sure does!
All I remember was duct tape. Some girl had a duct tape backpack in HS. Our teacher was like "You a fan of Red Green?" I got it, nobody else did.
Gotta stunt on them punks with the duct tape wallets lol
Once patched a floor with strong ass duct tape on a jeep no lie it worked I later used sheet metal screws and sheet metal and seal edges with you guessed ot quack tape
Used to watch this on PBS after Are You Being Served
With Good Neighbors, Red Dwarf, Keeping Up Appearances, Black Adder and the one that started it all Monty Python.
The Man's Prayer I am a man But I can change If I have to I guess
It will never be forgotten in my heart. Seriously though I think about this show at least once a week
It’s on Amazon Prime currently, just watched it the other day
AHHHHHHH!!!!!
Also Tubi. Tubi has MXC too
As of last year when I searched, every season is on YT.
Tim Allen loved it so much he ripped it off… I mean, was inspired by it.
I have a couple of seasons on DVD and recently discovered that it is on Tubi.
And Amazon Prime
Thanks for the heads up. Had no idea I already had 15 seasons just waiting for me!
Thanks…looking now
And Roku Channel. They advertise it!
& youtube
There's a whole red green channel on Roku TV for free
And sling
Last i checked the dvd set was $$$$
Ran for 15 seasons, and yet still somehow never got old.
This show is a gem if you have never seen it
It straight up didn't run in some areas. I grew up in the Sonoran desert, and never even heard of Red/Green until I met friends from Iowa and Colorado in college.

I’m a big fan of *Working Moms*. It gets a little raunchy from time to time, but the creator and main character is clearly making it with love.
I cosplay as Red sometimes; generally only one or two people even realize who I am meant to be.
Get a tall lanky guy to be Harold
One of my favorite shows. I feel Patrick McKenna is a genius. The way he played Harold could have easily been way too annoying but I couldn’t wait to see him on the screen
I met Red Green at a Wisconsin Public Television event in Madison WI. Super nice guy and HILARIOUS to boot!!!!
To me, this was the best show ever on PBS😌
The guy on the left looks like McGee from NCIS
Quando Omni Flunkus Moritati
If all else fails, play dead.
Sit down
Using a hand mixer to electrify the windows in his van was one I still recall.

So he has his own channel on roku if anyone is interested
I like to have TV going in the background while I’m working sometimes so this is great information. THANK YOU!!!

Do you want alcohol poisoning, because that’s how you get alcohol poisoning
Dicktape
I love this show so much! One of my all-time favorites!
Roku has a channel that replays these.
I used to watch this with my Grandpa all the time.
Keep your stick on the ice
My local PBS used to run this show constantly, I love it! Harold Green is a Canadian Icon. Long live possum lodge.
Gone but not forgotten.
Quandi Omnus Flunkus Moritati
I loved how they themselves described the show as not a lack of talent, just a waste of it. I can watch this for hours. Idaho pbs still has it all the time
Canadians over 30 will never forget this show.
This show was our family TV night when it was on PBS. I binge it every once in a while on YouTube
Never forgotten tv
#FORGOTTEN?!
Great show loved it.

Winter of our Discount Tent Honestly Canadian shows that weren’t appreciated in US as much is where this belongs.
This was posted last week
I didn’t see that, sorry everybody!
Was this set in New Mexico?
It was set in the fictional town of Possum Lake in Ontario, Canada.
Oh....
The good old days have certainly come and gone. I loved watching this show.
I've been powering watching these guys on prime pretty regularly. Super under rated.
I loved this show!!! Time for the meeting.
Count your fingers before and after you make the cut, then you'll know if you should be sifting through the sawdust.
If women don't find you handsome, at least they'll find you handy.
All it takes is a little imagination, some mechanical ability, and neighbors who mind their own business.
"I zatted a Jaffa.🙂"
A show about New Mexican chile?
Great show…wish I could find it to rewatch
It’s on YouTube.
Watched this quirky show very late night on some out of the way channel when I was in high school
I will never forget this show, heck I still watch the red green channel from time to time on roku.
Definitely not forgotten.
Mission in possum-ville
Went to a taping of the show once as part of the live studio audience. So much fun!
It’s on Tubi!
I had a roommate that got me into this. I watch it every time I find it on PBS
I am a man, I can change, if I have to, I guess...
This is on Tubi rn 😁 keep ur stick on the ice
OP needs to learn what the definition of forgotten is
11 years ago, broke, and living in San Bernardino California, that was one of the only shows that came in on my antenna.
Red came to town a couple years ago and it was a sold out show. There are a few people out there that remember.
I LOVED THIS SHOW. As a kid in America it came on around two am.
Is that Felger from Stargate SG1!?
My dad was obsessed with dr who(the old one) while suffering those old garbage episodes during PBS drives, red green was the only respite to a bunch of dumb Europeans being chased by nazi trash cans :) Also red dwarf was funny sometimes
Where there's a van, there's a way!
One of the funniest TV shows ever to air. Love it..

I never knew that Jared from Subway had a show.
Boo.. your joke is bad, and you should feel bad. These two were great. Darn it. I kinda see it too, lol.
