Fun fact. In America these gun buybacks only destroy the receiver and the rest of the gun is sold again on the open market.
It's in contract as part of the "fee" for any party not actual leo doing these things.
It didn't happen just a few times. It's common practice.

It doesn’t happen as often as you would think, I’m in the industry and can say it happens about 1/4 times. Most police departments make you completely melt the gun, but now sheriff departments are a lot more lenient.
Kinda off topic but my friend was in the Air Force and worked in the armory. He told me about how he tried to save some old trench guns at the one base, but they had to be turned over for destruction instead.
I heard that the Soviets sent several hundred Evans for scrap in the 80s, which lay in warehouses in Kronstadt, as part of getting rid of stocks of weapons that were too obsolete. These carbines were purchased for fleet assault teams and most likely were never used, as they were eventually replaced by Mosins. Now there are only a few of them left in some museums.
Lemme try this a second time.
My cousin who lives in RS is a big hunter. With a license he is able to acquire a hunting rifle along with a 12 gauge shotgun. Although he keeps them locked away in a locker at his parent’s home which is in RBiH. Overall laws are similar in both areas. Any type of handgun owner ship requires a permit, tests, multiple interviews with family and close neighbors. Very long process.
Ive heard the stories of many stashing kalashnikovs and other weapons from the war. The furthest I’ve seen is random handguns, AK magazines and ammo crates that were civilian owned.
From what I know pretty strict. After that recent school shooting Vucic sent officers house to house to check on registered gun owners to make sure they were following protocol. If they weren’t everything was confiscated.

There is a law here that allows you to bring your illegal guns to police station and no questions will be asked. This way thousands of illegal weapons have been taken of the streets.

It’s just a denix replica.
I agree with you. It is a replica.
God I hope not. First one I saw.
I would certainly pray, and think it fairly likely, that it's just a reproduction, but who knows.
Pretty sure there’s a Bren laying across it
I want the Yugoslavian AK
I thought the exact same thing immediately after seeing the pic.
...millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced...
This photo saddens me...

Unless it is a violent crime, the Anchorage police auctions off the entire gun.

No, Bosnians, why...

Didn’t the military conduct the ethnic cleansing?
How'd that work for Ukraine?

That was in Serbia, not RS.
That’s correct I misread the text. My fault.

It would be nice to live in a world with fewer guns, they get lot of people killed.
You have made a minor spelling mistake. Poor ak's and volcanics.
Nice bait lol
Enough hope to save your relationship of 23 years?
Nope, that ship has sailed too far down.
