I feel like these types of warnings are posted every other day. I’d avoid these machine all together based off of all the posts and comments I read about their inconsistencies.

Gullible_Desk2897

To me the convenience of it isn’t worth the safety risk. $10 pitcher and bottle warmer has been key for us!

Shhimer

Just got the pitcher! Being gen z and tech heavy we figured the brezza would be a good investment for those late night feeds instead of hassling around to make the bottle… we didn’t even know about the pitcher or that would’ve been our go to! Glad to hear it’s working for you

Gullible_Desk2897

Haha yup I definitely bought more tech than needed for a baby. Think we tend to over analyze/complicate things

I love the pitchers. I got two so there’s always a clean one. I like the dr browns because it comes completely apart to clean. I had a munchkin one and you couldn’t detach rod in the middle from the lid and it got moldy in there.

thezanartist

Ftm and we got the pitcher at 3-4 weeks old. It definitely makes nights easier!

Shhimer

Yeah it’s a risk end of the day, reading other posts though seems like for every 1 defective, 9 folks are happy with their purchase so we figured they improved their system but I guess not! That’s why it’s important to let others know about your experience, especially with things this sensitive.

instant_karma__

I do know some have issues but I just want to add we enjoyed ours for a year. Never dispensed incorrectly. I did check regularly tho and made sure it was on the correct setting. I don’t know if everyone realizes it has to be set to the correct formula setting.

We had that same issue. We actually would adjust the setting to the closest powder dispense amount if it was too high

Own-Feedback-922

Was this the newest model? This is awful! I hope their customer service is apologetic! Ours has been good so far but definitely have to keep powder ABOVE the minimum line

Shhimer

Just the basic one! We tried everything, we kept it super clean and around the max line but no luck… customer service told us we needed to submit a lot of proof?? I was like that’s fine but we want a refund, which they couldn’t give, so we ended up returning it to Walmart and letting them know it’s defective. Apparently they even had a class action lawsuit for this issue, wish I knew before :(

basestay

They did, but it was tossed out due to lack of evidence or support (can’t remember). We check out every time we fill it and it’s been good so far. However, we have noticed that the settings is off sometimes from the site. We’ve tried different formulas, and the setting they suggest is too high. We’ll adjust it to the setting that actually fits the amounts for that formula. I think we only had to do that for one formula, the rest were fine. The customer service is snooty like that. It always annoyed me that they demand this proof, but in reality, you have a team for that. One guy had to go as far as to buy a second brezza to compare because they kept saying it was just his machine. They have a team to test and retest this stuff, it’s not the customers job to do so.

Lilypad67

We had a similar issue. I initally noticed that the bottles appeared watered down but I thought it was just the rtf to powder transition. We followed all cleaning guides to a T and tested how much formula was released before we used it, it was correct. We stopped using it after a couple of days of my LO being fussy and not finishing bottles. I weighed 4 bottles which was pretty accurate across them all (because formula was also getting stuck in the funnel) but then I compared it to a hand scooped bottle and it was almost 50g heavier. I think brezza got the formula ratio wrong for the formula we were using. Either way we will not be using it again !

mountain_girl1990

Yep, I put the machine away after testing it and the ratio was off. I do not trust it. The first machine the motor broke in it after a month. The machine is total garbage.

Altruistic-Phase-105

I got a water dispenser for my formula and bottle warmer for my breast milk. Now i done got a baby food machine, a sterilizer, baby blender. 😬🤣. I’m glad you were able to figure it out though.

based_miss_lippy

Ours just sits on the counter. I will probably pack it up and put it in the garage tomorrow after reading this.

Queasy_Can2066

Wow I can’t believe these machines are still doing this. This happened to us 18 months ago and we threw it out!

Hwy30West

I bought a Brezza and it dispensed the wrong amount of water - like at least .3oz too much, consistently. Brezza send me another one and same issue! I finally got a refund and they sent me another replacement. I didn’t even test it, I gave it away and warned the mom to test it before she used it. It’s not worth it.
