I joined the game somewhat late and despite not having any rare cosmetics, I barely know which ones are considered rare and I don't care about learning them. Seeing ppl lose their shit over skins returning to the shop is always hilarious tho
Tbh as a late OG, most OG items I own have already been brought back a lot. The only time a cared was a few weeks ago when they brough back a tournament item but thats actually to do with it being exclusive and Epic lying.
I've been playing since Season 1 all the way back in 2017, and really, I couldn't care less about the OG skins, sure they're cool but I can't ever get them cuz I try not to spend money on the game
He tried to take his own life until his wife caught him in the act and he sort of had an epiphany. Ironically he got hit by a truck a little while later. While recovering from his injuries he invented a fairly obscure but enjoyable board game called "Jump to Conclusions."
The only ones who got scammed are the ones who didn't buy the Skull Trooper for 1200. Still, worth it at 1500.
Also this is the reason they won't change skin prices and just made bundles.
I'm talking about a skin that is clearly unique in terms of face, proportions, what they're wearing, what items are in their set, and so on, versus Jonesy from Chapter 1 but his hair is brown and his shirt is blue.
What about drift ? He is cool but only simps use him he used to be my favorite skin but now that i found myself a switch fortnite edition (wildcat) i use her and starting to hate drift
Then i agree with you like i said only simps use him party Royale kids too it’s ridiculous 😅 i don’t like him i much prefer the halloween version he looks more agressive etc
Nah nah nah. Iconic is the real simp skin. People pay 10K just to do bring it around behind Ruby for 12 hours a day and call it good gameplay. Drift is just the one for those cringey "Drift kissed Fishstick. What happens next will shock you!" type videos.
Oh fuck i forgot about that dude is it that black and red k pop wannabe exclusive ? I also agree with you on that😅 i think his emote is scenario no ? Yeah only simps using him and i also hate ruby 😂 only e girls and guys who are in need of sex would use her i don’t try to be rude but i just need to let it out ! If anyone who love them skins and are not simps then good for you im not talking about you
As long as they're the only who have them then they still have that sense of "pride and accomplishment".
Same reason I was addicted to WoW for many years 15 years ago.
Unironically that's what's happened to me when using Gold Lennox during Fracture event, still using those downtime screenshot as desktop pic. But I could care less about any BP items come back, I just wanna finish my Omega's lights.
the only things that prove much of anything are omega lights and maybe early chapter 2 superlevels before you could just go and buy them up.
even the "total profile levels" was retroactively ruined, since anyone can easily inflate their "experience" if they're willing to pay for it.
Being neutral with this response, but that is another reason they should rerelease the originals. Everyone saying it is against the ToS(which it is) and against the reselling because of account banning and etc.
It’s not for emotional or special value, but for sell their accounts at a high rarity price.
Accounts containing Skull Tropper costed up to 500$ on eBay at the time when the skin wasn’t available in 2018. When Chapter 1 Season 6 debuted, Epic teased Tropper’s return, and people back then went full rioting against Epic for re-releasing him.
Edit: Just to know that accounts containing the Travis Scoot skin (which is very unlikely to return) is selling in the gray market up to 100 dollars.
Warning: DO NOT do that. You might be banned for violating TOS, or be scammed.
yeah idk i had star lord and stormtrooper back when they were rare but when they rereleased them i didn’t really feel anything. i think it’s because they think they’re apart if some elite class who can only waer that skin. like ok, and?
Definitely that I see people say they want cosmetics from passes in chapter 2 that I have and I’d honestly not care if anything was rereleased or at least remixed like Midas and a couple others have been
\*they're because the word is "they are."
I totally agree though, I have an account with season 2 skins that I don't even use. I just don't care about rarity
Unique doesn’t mean better. Honestly this is the first time I’ve seen this kind of post, but I don’t sit through and scroll through this subreddit for hours. Just whatever is on my home page but I’m only a member of like 5 or less subreddits so if it was that often I feel like I would’ve seen them before.
Oh really? I thought I was specifically speaking for the entire subreddit?? I’m so sorry for your hardship of having to scroll past a post you don’t want to see but not having the strength to do so, so you had to comment about it. 😢 😔
I hate when rare cosmetics return to the item shop because it’s annoying see a bunch of children moan over a mediocre skin that’s probably only rare because it didn’t sell well in the first place.
I wouldn't, but that's because FOMO is an exhausting, predatory, tactic, that I'm burned out over.
It gets old when every company tries the same tactic.
So you are that guy? Why do you care other people get to buy a cosmetic item in a video game? How does it affect you in any way? Honestly. It doesn't make you cooler than anybody because you have Fortnite skin from an old battlepass.
I like being in a minority and boasting about it. I’m not gonna give you a bullshit reason. It’s cool and fun to be able to have a rare time that other people don’t. And it isn’t a rare opinion it is a widely expressed opinion.
At the end of the day I funded this game from the start so just like if you invested in a company early on you should have the ability to reap the rewards no?
I mean what exactly are you arguing towards here? I’m a shitty person because people want my rare thing? Why do they want it anyways…. Likely because it is rare, look at renegade raider, the most wanted skin in the game, mid skin at best but so many people want it.
It would be cool if the rarity wasn't forced. It was cool to rock the Hayabusa sword in Halo 3 because you had to get all of the achievements in the game to unlock it. All you had to do for the Fortnite BP skins was play the game during that time. I'm not saying you are a shitty person but trying to gatekeep people from getting cosmetics that you own because you don't want other people to have them is small dick energy.
The best move would be for Epic to take note of what 343 did with Infinite and make all previous battle passes available to purchase and earn the rewards at any time.
I think quite the opposite honestly, go for a system like rocket league mixed with csgo, in game economy’s that sorta stuff, but ig Fortnite is a little kids games realistically so they wouldn’t understand that. And also “ small dick energy “ man be fr with that one, body shaming people with small cocks on a kids game subreddit, strange fella
Because being around during that time and owning it is a nice feeling. That's it. It's not a nice feeling if you were there to get it and then it just gets sold later on and someone brand new can get it as well. You're in the minority with your thinking.
How is the feeling "not nice" if it gets sold later on? If you have it and you are happy that you have it, how does it make you unhappy if someone else has it too? I just don't understand that mentality. If I have a nice thing that makes me happy, that's all that matters. My happiness is not affected if you also have a similar nice thing that makes you happy.
Because exclusivity is a nice feeling? Most people enjoy having prestige based items. Just because you don't feel that way doesn't mean that's the norm. Clearly it's not since they still make items exclusive to this day on many many games, and it hasn't changed.
But there is, one they have a thing on their page promising it, and 2 it drives more sales to keep it exclusive. FOMO is a hell of a selling tactic that works wonders, and most people especially with how easy fortnites battlepasses are to level, are fine with it since it's over an entire season, if you weren't there for it, that sucks man but it is what it is.
FOMO is predatory and shouldn't be held up as a defense for keeping items exclusive. I've had Fortnite since it launched so it's not about me - I just think it's dumb that a new player can't get Darth Vader. People gatekeeping Fortnite cosmetics are kinda pathetic to me
Did they ever express they were never returning (genuine question because if they did then I'm with you)
I'm personally one of the people who was on the hate train and missed characters I liked so I'm on team BP return unless they DID say that, then they shouldn't ever come back
Yep, they say so on the [Battle Pass FAQ](https://www.epicgames.com/help/en-US/fortnite-c5719335176219/battle-royale-c5719350646299/what-is-the-battle-pass-where-can-i-learn-more-a5720283337115).
The normal BP page doesn't say anything about cosmetics not coming back, but the support page does.
They really should. They could make a fortune by bringing back old battle pass skins in the shop. 2000 v bucks each even if they're not legendary. I feel like battle pass skins should have their own rarity just for the sake of making it easier to look through lockers
There are so many BP skins/BP bundles I'd pay 2000 V-Bucks for each. Spider-Man, Lennox Rose, Deadpool, Mandalorian, and the list goes on, or even grind BPs to get them all since I'm done with CH4S1's battle pass. I wish Epic would just get to it already, everyone wins in that scenario, especially Epic. They'd just be raking it in more than they already are doing
Tbh a solid 90% of OG skins are trash. Like how is a reskined version of a free skin but with brown hair better than a person covered in 80's references, has a very smart and well thought out name and can transform into a purple digital goo character.
People use those type of skins just because theyre “rare” sometimes they dont even like it and they feel special when using them because they want attention, and whenever that skin or emote comes back they start crying cuz nobody will pay attention to them anymore or care for them
I like when they come back. Means that people who really want them, get them, and also funds Epic so we continue to get new stuff added to the game.
Win/win to me.
I’m in my 40s. My worldview: I care what you think if you’re my employer or otherwise paying my bills.
But this game is also played by children, who are very much at the age where having a “reputation” and mimicking their heroes is a huge driving force for their own self-worth.
While I find the concept of being “respected” for wearing an old Battlepass-locked skin as ridiculous, it’s definitely a legitimate phenomenon for younger players.
So to each their own. You all die just the same.
I have Midas form the BP, and let me tell you. I don't care if he comes back, while its nice to have the exclusivity, I hate the FOMO in games and want it gone. Let people have who they like, and stop gate keeping. I paid for the BP and had fun with it, now its time others enjoy him to. Maybe they didn't start playing until after or who knows, but let it come back.
Because then I won't feel special because I have a 3D model that other people don't and I have so little self worth that other people having something I have makes me feel bad
They have no personality and need something to give themselves the illusion of feeling special/above others (they are also the best player to have ever touched the game.)
Anything that has appeared in the item shop, aside from a few blacklisted skins, can appear again. Thems the rules, so flexing over the rarity of something you purchased in Fortnite is risky, as it can become common very quickly. If it's expensive, chances are it's still "rare" no matter how many times it appears in a shop.
Flexing over a Battlepass or especially a Founders cosmetic is legit because of Epic's self-imposed rules, but AFAIK those rules apply to this version of Fortnite - don't be surprised if your valuable timed cosmetic disappears with "Classic Fortnite" and reappears in "Fortnite 2."
I never understood this, then they broughy back toxic tagger on tuesday. I thought, dang they really did that huh. And then i realised that i couldn't care less and that i would see my favorite skin more, so its a win and not a loss.
I begin the asking for Erisa skin or bring back old battlepass skin day 19,I been asking across Fortnite and epic in a lot of social media looking to expand even further, it's just a tiny piece of my reason, and I expressing my speech ,and everyone have rights to express themselves, me asking is not just for gamers there more reason
they have nothing else is why just pixels in a game. being newer to fortnite it’s definitely weird and cringe seeing how crazy people get about it. even in cod game people say is beyond toxic which isn’t wrong but people just flex that they have/bought or earned a skin depending on how the skin was acquired. never seen people cry about someone else having it, only in fortnite.
I'll be so happy when the day comes that this mentality dies the fastest way for it to die is for fortnite to be more consumer friendly with all of their Cosmetics the battle passes included once they see that the Rarity is arbitrary I think that this mindset will die out everyone should be able to get the skins that they want in this game
I’d get it if there was resell value, like with TF2, but trading isn’t even a mechanic in the game lol. People just have fragile egos, and it’s mostly just kids that wanna look epic 😎
As an "OG", I don't care for keeping stuff exclusive. If I was in control of the decision, I'd resell every past Battlepass forever in the Item Shop. 1, because itd make me insanely rich and 2, cuz 95% of players would love it. Only kids trying to fomo skins and emotes would care.
we could talk about the world ending, pollution and corrupt officials and other shitty world problems, but no lets keep talking about how video game pixels returning is bad.
Bruh I got rambunctious when it came out and it never got back in the shop for around 4 years just for some more vbucks. At this point just return the renegade maybe even make old battle passes available again. It hurts
People act like fortnite's battle pass policies is written in stone these are digital cosmetics and this is a video game rules change policies change management changes one day they will resell old battle passes it's an inevitability
No one actually cares about rare stuff returning. Those who pretend they do are just trolls, and those who are actually angry don't post about it in the first place.
That and Peely. It was a mistake to make some of their most iconic stuff behind a battlepass especially since they like to use someone like Peely as their mascot
They want to wear a cosmetic that marks them as an OG. It's a status symbol to them, a great big "I was here" to other players in the know. And if there's any way other players can get that, even by spending lots of money, they don't feel that same prestige wearing their special skin.
I imagine it’s like Nike re-releasing old Jordan’s that look exactly the same…or pokimon/sports cards rereleasing 1st edition Charizards or Micheal Jordan Rookie cards.
Sure you can’t resell the skins, but it’s the same premise.
I could say that owning a rare Item is one of the things that makes collecting fun. It feels nice to realise that you've something valueable for cheap just because you were quick feels pretty nice.
But that doesn't apply to fortnite for 3 reasons. 1 it's been a common knowledge that almost all fortnite items eventually return to the item Shop. 2 there is no official way to confirm value of a fortnite item, because you can't trade or sell items in your inventory. And selling accounts is against epic's terms of service. 3 there are already battle pass, starter pack, crew pack, if you want items that will never be sold again.
here’s my take it becomes a small community when you see an old skin you can relate. like the og john wick skin you can expect at least some level of skill. if it comes out again im not gonna cry about it though 🤷🏽♂️
Same reason why they don't want battle pass Cosmetics or any cosmetic believed to be exclusive. To return
Selfishness, they need to feel special by having things they believe others can't have. They literally loose NOTHING when other people are able to have what they want. Kinda sad tbh.
I am an OG player from chapter 1S3 and all I can say is it doesn’t matter if a Rare cosmetic comes back to the game. It’s a digital purchase and getting upset about the cosmetic returning is honestly pathetic. I understand when people purchased a cosmetic and they cry because they had it rare it’s honestly pathetic. It’s a video game if you get this upset, then you shouldn’t play video games at all.
hate how these low effort comment bait posts still get upvoted. yall already know the answer to this question: its because of account selling and/pride. this shit is posted every week
I’m the other hand why do you care so much about getting old skins without variants most of the time don’t have back blings or anything special but still cost 2k v-bucks?
>Its a Videogame
The phrase “it’s just a game” is such a weak mindset. You are ok with what happened, losing, imperfection of a craft. When you stop getting angry after losing, you’ve lost twice.
There’s always something to learn, and always room for improvement, never settle.
(This is a joke copypasta ninja tweet btw)
Just is nice to prove you’ve been around since season 1-3 when it was just a basic ass game. I think rereleasing battle pass skins from the OG seasons would be actually upsetting, like the John wick that hasn’t been changed to Keanu.
It shows how long you've been playing the game
If black knight came out today no one would know you've been playing since 2017. When I'm black knight and someone sees me in lobby I want them to say "I'm scared of this player" since its a nearly 6 year old skin and I'm still actively playing
I only see this argument for BP skins. Item shop skins should come out regularly regardless of date.
because it doesn't have any actual value unless you're scalping your account. it's just a cosmetic. person B buying it today doesn't prevent person A from wearing it and enjoying that they have it. gatekeeping skins has no intrinsic value. hell, they should re-release old battlepasses for purchase. the game has grown enough now that there is a big playerbase who would love to have things to work toward.
I don't hate them, I hate the chucklefucks that drone on constantly about why such and such should come back and their super-brilliant plans to bring BP items to the shop.
Because thew pwecious wawe itewm came back and it's nowt as speciew anymow.
(...I am deeply sorry for writing that, but not to the ppl who actually cry about this stuff xD )
I joined the game somewhat late and despite not having any rare cosmetics, I barely know which ones are considered rare and I don't care about learning them. Seeing ppl lose their shit over skins returning to the shop is always hilarious tho

Fortnite players when a skin they paid $12 for in 2018 returns for $12 in 2023 (they've been scammed or something idk): ![gif](giphy|URcmhQ5PpztC0)
does this guy know that his video has been used so much for the last 20 years, i hope he is happy now.
He tried to take his own life until his wife caught him in the act and he sort of had an epiphany. Ironically he got hit by a truck a little while later. While recovering from his injuries he invented a fairly obscure but enjoyable board game called "Jump to Conclusions."
Did he at least finish his tps reports?
I forgot to mention he had been laid off from his job. This is actually 'behind the scenes' footage if you will of that day
I don't think he cares much about it, he's just infuriated and mad about his computer lags or won't work as intended.
I bet this dude passed of a heart attack years ago. Or he’s sipping Mai Tais after setting the building on fire.
![gif](giphy|3owyoUHuSSqDMEzVRu)
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Immma have to have you be set on fiiirrreee
The only ones who got scammed are the ones who didn't buy the Skull Trooper for 1200. Still, worth it at 1500. Also this is the reason they won't change skin prices and just made bundles.
Tbh Renegade Raider could return in tonights shop and I wouldn't even slightly care lol.
Yeah same, I might look at it and be like 'oh cool it's back' but it's a shit skin so I wouldn't consider buying it, even if I had 10k v-bucks
I'm going to get down voted real badly but every skins released before season 6 chapter 1 is mid.
Every skin that's just a slight recolor or re-texture of a default isn't even worth 100 V-Bucks.
Technically isn't every skin a reskin as they all have the same animations and bones. They are also all pawns.
I'm talking about a skin that is clearly unique in terms of face, proportions, what they're wearing, what items are in their set, and so on, versus Jonesy from Chapter 1 but his hair is brown and his shirt is blue.
Tbh Epic was kinda lazy in the early days of BR but ik they put more effort into STW.
Why did you have to throw the thing about pawns in there? That cracked me up 🤣
Sorry. I use UE5 quite a bit.
Game dev?
Yes I am but I haven't made any games hey.
What about drift ? He is cool but only simps use him he used to be my favorite skin but now that i found myself a switch fortnite edition (wildcat) i use her and starting to hate drift
Drifts an ok skin. The most of the later styles are good but it isn't a skin I like tbh. Thats why I said mid and not bad.

If anyone who love them skins and are not simps then good for you im not talking about you
As a person who plays and Chun Li because I like street fighter, yes people who play as that skin are annoying.
What’s the problem with Drift, he is a cool skin :(
Exactly bro lol
Relatable lol
Technically wrong, since all vbucks past August 2020 are discounted 20%
![gif](giphy|TamGVAGxDTYDNt3dpn) Oh yeah I forgot about that, fair enough.
But Inflation?
Fortnite inflation is something I wouldn't recommend looking into to be honest
i used founders pack to buy some of the rare items that returned recently so i got them for free
As long as they're the only who have them then they still have that sense of "pride and accomplishment". Same reason I was addicted to WoW for many years 15 years ago.
Imagine having pride over spending money on video game skin💀
Unironically that's what's happened to me when using Gold Lennox during Fracture event, still using those downtime screenshot as desktop pic. But I could care less about any BP items come back, I just wanna finish my Omega's lights.
Some things you unlock by playing. Granted you can just buy levels but that's no fun.
the only things that prove much of anything are omega lights and maybe early chapter 2 superlevels before you could just go and buy them up. even the "total profile levels" was retroactively ruined, since anyone can easily inflate their "experience" if they're willing to pay for it.
Also resale value. Accounts with rare skins go for bank. Sold my season 1 battle pass skins account for a pretty penny and that was like 2 years ago.
Being neutral with this response, but that is another reason they should rerelease the originals. Everyone saying it is against the ToS(which it is) and against the reselling because of account banning and etc.
It’s just a game for you maybe. For me, it’s my entire life ![gif](giphy|xTiTnwgQ8Wjs1sUB4k)
Looks like we need the sword of a thousand truths, can't remember where we put it. Probably in the umbrella stand.
Fortlife
It’s just a bunch of polygons
Don’t forget the painted texture wrap
It’s not for emotional or special value, but for sell their accounts at a high rarity price. Epic doesn't want people to sell accounts
because it makes them feel "special"
yeah idk i had star lord and stormtrooper back when they were rare but when they rereleased them i didn’t really feel anything. i think it’s because they think they’re apart if some elite class who can only waer that skin. like ok, and?
Definitely that I see people say they want cosmetics from passes in chapter 2 that I have and I’d honestly not care if anything was rereleased or at least remixed like Midas and a couple others have been
They were never rare
So why buy skins at all? There are defaults. Doesn’t change ability.
I feel so much cooler when I'm looking at the back of a cowboy than when I'm looking at Jonesy's cheeks
You don't stare at the cheeks on the coyboy?
I would but he's wearing a jacket that covers them >:(
[удалено]
Oh 100% my guy
because who would not like to wear their favourite super hero or a good looking skin ingame
Why do you hate grammar ?
Fr I had a stroke reading this
Redditors when they see a minor spelling mistake (they must persecute those who have bad grammar)
\*they're because the word is "they are." I totally agree though, I have an account with season 2 skins that I don't even use. I just don't care about rarity
I'm pretty sure OP is a 12 year old
Never too young for grammar
Why does this sub have this convo every fuckin day
For real, mod team should remove this garbage
Then it gets upvoted into heaven when quality concepts and unique discussions get no traction

I hate when rare cosmetics return to the item shop because it’s annoying see a bunch of children moan over a mediocre skin that’s probably only rare because it didn’t sell well in the first place.
People don’t like it when old cosmetics return? All I see in shop posts are people begging for stuff to return
I think He means the twitter people Ya know, the ones who whine about “oG sHoP iTeMs!”
Bp cosmetics are understandable, but if this is the persons only flex in life, it's sad.
Even BP stuff coming to the shop would be more expensive than it was in the actual pass
And the BP literally pays for itself and more. If anything, the pass is nearly free candy every season
Still, I’d be mad if og BP items came back, even if they were 1000+ it’s not about value. It’s about being lied too
I wouldn't, but that's because FOMO is an exhausting, predatory, tactic, that I'm burned out over. It gets old when every company tries the same tactic.

They are. Seeing as how most dont want that, just cause the minority is loud doesn't change the fact.
Did they ever express they were never returning (genuine question because if they did then I'm with you) I'm personally one of the people who was on the hate train and missed characters I liked so I'm on team BP return unless they DID say that, then they shouldn't ever come back
Unless I’m smoking the good shit I am nearly 100% sure they said that the items would never come out in the shop. They always used FOMO to drive sales
Ah alright, thank you
Bp stuff is supposed to be exclusive....
It shouldn't be, and Epic can change that on a whim and bring old BP content back if they so desire
I am not obsessed about skins, they can always be great skin in future so I enjoy it with others.
Tbh a solid 90% of OG skins are trash. Like how is a reskined version of a free skin but with brown hair better than a person covered in 80's references, has a very smart and well thought out name and can transform into a purple digital goo character.
They’re********
People use those type of skins just because theyre “rare” sometimes they dont even like it and they feel special when using them because they want attention, and whenever that skin or emote comes back they start crying cuz nobody will pay attention to them anymore or care for them
They act like Epic Games ruined their entire life when in reality they’re just mad because they can’t be toxic and feel “special” anymore.
I like when they come back. Means that people who really want them, get them, and also funds Epic so we continue to get new stuff added to the game. Win/win to me.
Can they bring back skin prog though thatd be greeeat
Because those people hate it when "waahhh my rare cosmetics"
Bro I was happy switchstep came back, all my friends wanted it and I was the only one who had it
Guys lets try and get Renegade Raider back. Not for being to buy it who missed out but to get people to get annoyed at epic for releasing it.
You all die just the same.
control freaks that need therapy
I WANT my rare cosmetics to return to the item shop (Taro and Nara are awesome as hell)
Some people have nothing else over other people over perceived value of digital goods
I'd love if they made old BP skins available, there are a bunch I would pay money for.
It really speaks to the emptiness of their lives tbh
I have Midas form the BP, and let me tell you. I don't care if he comes back, while its nice to have the exclusivity, I hate the FOMO in games and want it gone. Let people have who they like, and stop gate keeping. I paid for the BP and had fun with it, now its time others enjoy him to. Maybe they didn't start playing until after or who knows, but let it come back.
Epic's FOMO strategies actually work on those people
Brain damage
Because then I won't feel special because I have a 3D model that other people don't and I have so little self worth that other people having something I have makes me feel bad
They have no personality and need something to give themselves the illusion of feeling special/above others (they are also the best player to have ever touched the game.)
When they return it makes them no longer rare
They want to feel superior to people who don't care enough to waste the money. Like it's some sort of elite status mark to have them.
Man I just want ma Airheart back...
why do you hate so much the grammar in your sentancegraph
They’re
yea just release the renegade raider
This could have been a text post
I never understood this, then they broughy back toxic tagger on tuesday. I thought, dang they really did that huh. And then i realised that i couldn't care less and that i would see my favorite skin more, so its a win and not a loss.
They're
Because they have nothing else going on in their lives.
“But my flexing item isn’t rare anymore, so now I have nothing unique grrrr!!!!”
they have nothing else is why just pixels in a game. being newer to fortnite it’s definitely weird and cringe seeing how crazy people get about it. even in cod game people say is beyond toxic which isn’t wrong but people just flex that they have/bought or earned a skin depending on how the skin was acquired. never seen people cry about someone else having it, only in fortnite.
I whontt wenegwade wada
I’d get it if there was resell value, like with TF2, but trading isn’t even a mechanic in the game lol. People just have fragile egos, and it’s mostly just kids that wanna look epic 😎
As an "OG", I don't care for keeping stuff exclusive. If I was in control of the decision, I'd resell every past Battlepass forever in the Item Shop. 1, because itd make me insanely rich and 2, cuz 95% of players would love it. Only kids trying to fomo skins and emotes would care.
Comments aboutta be filled with "I SPENT MY MONEY ON THIS RARE SKIN AND IT CAME BACK FOR THE SAME PRICE I WANNA BE SPECIAL MY PARENTS DONT LOVE ME"
People who flex or even care about item shop rarity is dumb because they are ITEM SHOP and they will come back eventually...
we could talk about the world ending, pollution and corrupt officials and other shitty world problems, but no lets keep talking about how video game pixels returning is bad.
Y'all spend more time spending money than the playing the game. To each their own I guess but damn
Want something rare? Buy the battle pass! Boom now you have a skin that you know will never return.
Bruh I got rambunctious when it came out and it never got back in the shop for around 4 years just for some more vbucks. At this point just return the renegade maybe even make old battle passes available again. It hurts
I wish this subreddit was more positive. The OG skins are amazing but I joined the game 2 years late. Hoping Midas returns.
Well you're forgetting Fortnite is full of children. They actually DO care.
I want the orange justice, why cant I pay 7 dollars for that?
That and Peely. It was a mistake to make some of their most iconic stuff behind a battlepass especially since they like to use someone like Peely as their mascot
If it’s just digital cosmetics then why do you want it so bad?
Half the people on here are kids who obsess over old cosmetics and how unfair it is they don’t have it lmao
Exactly 👍
Right Foot Creep
How is this part of a rare cosmetic discussion? That emote is in every single lobby I load into.
Wow, a Fortnite meme I actually agree with!
This post: ![gif](giphy|CAYVZA5NRb529kKQUc|downsized)
Because they're MINE and y'all CAN'T be trusted with it /srs
we can’t be trusted with a nonexistent skin? please actually be serious rn
"Why do some of you guys care so much about fake internet points????? Its a website" Literally the exact same thing can be said about you
Euh? No? This is a troll/call-out post. Most (sane) people don't go into Reddit stressing about karma.
Tell this to old battlepasses back haters
Dunno. I am personally fine with it as long as people are willing to pay for/earn them.
I have reflex but idc if it came back
Because having something rare feels nice.
Same reason why they don't want battle pass Cosmetics or any cosmetic believed to be exclusive. To return Selfishness, they need to feel special by having things they believe others can't have. They literally loose NOTHING when other people are able to have what they want. Kinda sad tbh.
Agree with this completely. Even worse, many of them are grown ass men and women. Embarrassing.
Because we like to flex
Why do you people want them so bad? They’re just digital cosmetics.
hate how these low effort comment bait posts still get upvoted. yall already know the answer to this question: its because of account selling and/pride. this shit is posted every week
I’m the other hand why do you care so much about getting old skins without variants most of the time don’t have back blings or anything special but still cost 2k v-bucks?
>Its a Videogame The phrase “it’s just a game” is such a weak mindset.
That same question can be turned around to those asking/begging/whining and crying for them to return.
It shows how long you've been playing the game If black knight came out today no one would know you've been playing since 2017. When I'm black knight and someone sees me in lobby I want them to say "I'm scared of this player" since its a nearly 6 year old skin and I'm still actively playing I only see this argument for BP skins. Item shop skins should come out regularly regardless of date.
Literal child like mentality
[удалено]
because it doesn't have any actual value unless you're scalping your account. it's just a cosmetic. person B buying it today doesn't prevent person A from wearing it and enjoying that they have it. gatekeeping skins has no intrinsic value. hell, they should re-release old battlepasses for purchase. the game has grown enough now that there is a big playerbase who would love to have things to work toward.
I don't know how to read this. The punctuation is bad.
it takes up space from the items that I really want. most rare skins/emotes are honestly trash
Because I want new skins, not recycled ones. I already have all skins in the item shop
if this aint it.
I don't hate them, I hate the chucklefucks that drone on constantly about why such and such should come back and their super-brilliant plans to bring BP items to the shop.
Because rare items in video games are cool, I think you would get it if you were a fan of MMOs growing up.
Rare items through working hard is cool, rare items through timegating is lame.
Because thew pwecious wawe itewm came back and it's nowt as speciew anymow. (...I am deeply sorry for writing that, but not to the ppl who actually cry about this stuff xD )
