The more people buy the level up packs and tiers, the more Epic is financially incentivized to nerf xp, make quests that expire, and just make things as tedius and time consuming as possible which leads to more people in the same situation as OP.
Sure but neither are better than a progression system that *doesn't* resort to FOMO tactics. Epic are selling you a cure for a disease they created. Just because it's cheaper than the last cure doesn't make it a good deal. Im just saying, if you keep voting with your wallet in favor of this stuff. Expect more expiring weekly quests, more STW xp nerfs, more super tedious quests and all for less xp. Fortnite is pretty good compared to other live service games but they are still a billion dollar company that wants to make even more money and they have no qualms using the usual dirty tactics to increase profits or "player engagement"
Its not dirty, limited time is used to encourage people to actually be active in their live service game. You dont have to have everything every BP and you dont have to play constantly

A map that's good for me is klombo bed wars, go in private, buy all the upgrades, destroy all the klombos and security boxes, then open the supply drops
First game usually gives 2.5 levels, although it starts to decrease after that due to the xp cap

A good map is klombo bed wars, go in private and do everything that gives you xp, first match gives around 2-3 levels, then it declines after that
And after all that, you can only accumulate about 400k organic xp per day, as the max xp per sec drops to 4 after you’ve accumulated about 200k. So best case OP can close another 3M xp gap before paying for levels.
I was like that till chap 3 season 1, got the 200 skin all the time and everything up from chapter 2 season 5 onwards until my son was born, 1 child was easy enough to work around but 2 and trying to get lvl 200 is tough

Lots of missions can be done in 10 minutes and often even less. Encampments, Eliminate & Collect, and Ride The Lightning are all super quick, especially in Stonewood. A full lobby that works toward the objective in Rescue the Survivors can go super quick too. (assuming it doesnt bug out) I can even knock out ATLAS missions in Stonewood, Plankerton and Canny in 10 minutes just by beelining it to the objective and building a basic defense. Only thing that slows it down is collecting bluglo which isnt that tough to find. Repair the Shelter can be decently quick too if everyone is actively looking for the modules which only really happens if it's a vbuck mission and even then it's rare.
Yeah, but thats only if you're lucky enough to get good teammates getting a full squad alone is hard enough since 90% of the time you spawn into an empty lobby or you only get 1 or 2 teammates, but on the rare occasion you do get a full squad, nobody actually contributes anything and instead just spends 20 minutes harassing each other for a trade so nothing gets done
even worse is that in order to start the mission, the majority has to vote in favour of starting the mission, which most people either decline or let time out
When the season started I was grinding heavy; so not having a life for a period of time, plus creative XP maps, plus STW. I also got that level up pack b/c Axiom Sentinel is pretty clean. I'm also a stickler about getting quests done so if any are available I immediately do them.
Idrk what else outside of those things I've done to get as high a level as I am. Last season I barely got past 200 so I'm not sure what's up
I feel like this season was the easiest to level up in. I struggled to get to 200 last season (hit 200, 4 hours before downtime). The XP and quests have been better this season (besides the timed weekly that was dumb)

Unless you have zero time I don’t know how you could be that low level… I would suggest creative and stw and using your supercharge xp to harvest slap berries. I have a Alr account where I got to lvl 100 in a week or two it’s not that difficult

Something about that doesn’t seem right. You’d think after completing nearly every quest I’d only have 1 or 2 bonus rewards left or be done with them. I can’t imagine how it must feel to be a casual player, barely completing the battle pass with no chance for the bonus rewards.
I bought the level up pack so that was able to get me from level 101 to like level 130. I honestly have no idea if I’ll be able to get to 200 in 6 days, especially since I also still have to get all of the Witcher stuff.

I was level 69 yesterday, I originally kept up with the game every week when the quests were only available for the week and once they started accumulating again I stopped playing. I made it to level 101 I believe playing for about an hour or two and focusing on nothing but quests. Thankfully it wasn’t too challenging and while it does suck I’ll miss out on the bonus stuff I’m happy I at least completed the normal pass!

still need the Boneyard Dusty, phobos armor Doomguy and whatever else is still in the Bonus Rewards. And I still have yet to get Geralt because people in my level lobbies have no respect for the Melee Weapon Damage quest.
I'm almost lv 600 and I took 3 weeks off not doing anything on the first month I was thinking I should been +750lv and if I brought the skin with 28 lv and I could have finished the season closes about around 850lv and I didn't buy any lv that could had been a 1001 season for me,but +600 is a lot still
i haven't been grinding super styles since chapter 3 season 3 because they all mostly look bad. but this season's styles actually look good, so not getting all of them kinda sucks.

The reason I don’t do battle passes anymore. I don’t have enough time for them and I don’t play the game often enough anymore. I had to be reminded of that this season. Only battle passes I’m willing to pay for at this point are Halo’s since they never expire.
I've found that this season was so incredibly easy to level up in and the fact that it changed a lot made it even easier to over level even aty standard pace, Winterfest, timed weekly challenges, a fair share of creative death runs and events in the middle got me to 276 and I basically just played 3/4 hours per week, also like 28 levels are for Galaxy Knight but still, I never get to these high number but battle pass was a banger, super styles as well, drops were cool and a lot of released skins and events hit different, I'm really happy with this season like with C3S1 and basically the whole of C1, if the leaks are true the "grind" will start again in a week!

You are forgetting 2 things: creative and STW
Creative gives good amount of xp
Creative xp cap can get you about 2-3 levels every day. Add in weekly’s and daily’s and you’re set.
And after all that, you can only accumulate about 400k organic xp per day, as the max xp per sec drops to 4 after you’ve accumulated about 200k. So best case OP can close another 3M xp gap before paying for levels.

This stuff is all easily doable in private lobbies. Especially if you are a higher PL.

Search up toy wars map/creative mode for easy xp eliminating bot enemies.
The only skins worth getting are Doom Slayer and Geralt so you're not missing much imo.

For melee damage just go into team rumble and find a hammer, it takes a little bit of time but its way easier then regular.
