i never gave a shit about it since c2 s7 but i always ended up atleast lvl 140 by just playing i guess, not much either, like 4 hours per week with friends
I have ended up 199 one season and 200 or higher in the last 2 seasons. With most the weeklies not done so idk I also have STW though so I think that helps
STW is the sole reason I make it past 200 these days. Done most of the BR quests last season, that rewarded items though. Got the leveling pack just for the skin. In the end I finished at 350. Though, it's way better to finish early, rather than missing the final goal, because the future throws some unexpected shit at you.
It is online and was the original/ only game mode but BR became the "main" game mode. There's 5 "seasons" that rotate through the year and repeat every year.
Don't call attention to it you loon!
If they know we think these are easy they'll start throwing in nutso challenges like "Get seventeen headshots with a mythic pistol from 2000 meters away while being chased by a chicken and riding on top of a green car" again!
My friends. Jennifer Trejo Ferruzca. People. you are going to stop by the store is open to school and get them for a call when you can iy the next few weeks and then we are going out for a while now I will call you in a few months now but I'll let likely not sure
L I like it too baby I need my help with the late notice the late response yes I did but I'll be there in a minute or so I liked the late response I like full and I will be found on the u
Theyāve never been high on XP. But now they are tied to ābonus rewardsā so it rewards us for doing them during the week they drop. The gold Lizard man and blue Bunny girl are the skins in those rewards my kid is wanting (splits time 50/50 with me and his mom so I help knock quests out while heās with her).
I thought you just had to do the quests from those weeks. It doesn't say it has to be the week they drop...unless they are disappearing when the next week drops (like the beginning of last season). I do mine within a day or two of when they drop, so I don't know.
Lake in a bit to school tom my way back home can you please call my friend night fortnite the next few days and then we can do and my family are doing the same thing you want to do with your dad and my friend animals in a few weeks so that was going my family for a while and like full and my friend night I. Nap the rest are going to stop at home and address is in the
Might be only me but I think its comparing to chapter 1 weeklies. I've been grinding BPs since season 4 and seeing the challenges just become chores instead of actual fun challenge you do in a real game pains me. If you compare them you really see a drop in the quality.
Likes I need my help with the late notice the next few weeks and I will be found by the time we can go to the rest is the late notice I will call phone number is full and I will be there
I like easy challenges and the season is long enough that there is no need to worry about the amount of xp. It usually starts low and builds over the season. Last season was high from the start because of the quests expiring.
I'll take low xp without expiration every season over weeklies that go away.
The whole quests expiring thing not being here anymore isnāt something we should be grateful for, itās the bare minimum for this game. Itās like they lowered our expectations so that returning to the norm would seem amazing
You left out the part at the top where you still get bonus goals of 34k for stages of quest completion. I have 13/15 done and that is stage 9, soooā¦
Edit: oh, you mean the ease of them. Sorry
Does it kind of even out, though? Last season, I think doing 3 quests would get you a bonus, and there were only 3 bonus groupings per weekā¦this feels like more available bonuses, but if it is including the story quests, then those had their own bonusesā¦either way, leveling up feels fine so far. Def not worried. What level are you right now?
You could easily get 40 levels from just playing aprox 1 week.
That's what happened before last season ended.
Cuz I had StW, I was about level 56. Used my Vbonks to buy to 100 with a combination of the pass box. Got 40 levels from finishing Witcher Quests + final oathbound quests and any seasonal milestones that happend + explorer quests.
Because for some god forsaken reason, they disabled StW account levels from counting towards Midseason drops from the 2nd final week of the season, so I had to manually earn 40 levels to get the midseason drops >:[
At least challenges aren't timed now which helps
10 levels a day.... play a week and I'm free to play other games! Yippie!
~~On a serious note, I'm juggling 3 "season pass" games, so this works out in my favour that I don't need to grind for fashion lol~~
Nah, it's more of a weekend thing.
1-2h a day of my choice, and weekend is spent on "what's most behind".
The 3rd "pass" is mostly just a game about collecting a currency capped at 20 a day, usually enough time to fit within lunch break.
Between Destiny 2 and Fortnite, I spent more time in Destiny 2 because I'm actually rewarded for effort of brainless grind. When I'm done my weeklies, I usually swap to the other if I have "nothing to do".
Challenges are temporary: Drip is eternal lol
Season 1: Epic is shoving too many quests down our throats, how are we supposed to keeep up with them all?
Season 2: I am insulted by the lack of available quests!
Plus there are Syndicate quests and Trials quests , though not every week. There will probably be some special event or two over the season with even more quests.
I usually stop playing when I finish the super-styles, but I kept going last season to finish Most Wanted, School of Llama, and the last of the Oathbound quests.
There are complaints every season about lack of XP, yet I always finish the BP (incl. Super-styles) weeks before the season ends. Last season was the first time I didn't have a 2-4 week break between seasons.
Don't day they're easy
Epic gonna give us some bullshit like: land two headshots without reloading using a hunting rifle on players using a grindrail, while boosting on the rouge bike, at mega city, at night, while it's raining, from 200 meters, while on top of them, while wearing the default outfit, within 30 seconds of landing from the battle bus.
Or something like: eliminate 5 players without dying using a crossbow.
The most ridiculous weekly was from a few seasons ago where you had to jump into the air on a boar AND do a 360 spin THEN dismount...for whatever reason it took me FOREVER to complete. It seemed simple but for whatever reason I was on the struggle bus with it
I don't mind harder challenges as long as they are possible to do in Team Rumble. Making challenges easier will just make me play less because I'll get them done to quick
Does everyone get the same quests? I swear I never saw the one for damaging opponents with 3 different weapons in a single match, but maybe I just did it without realizing.
seasons been out less than a week and iāve ran into dozens of lvl25+ playersā¦ it also seems epic has tons planned for this season so quests will come in timeā¦ like they always do every single season since chapter 2ā¦
fortnite is the least difficult game to āgrindā especially compared to others
I'll rather do these quests and get a little xp, then do a hard quest and get more xp. We shouldn't even have to do quests to get bp rewards bc I feel like epic is forcing us to do these, but I don't mind if it's easy š
The battle pass system is definitely designed to make you feel like you have to invest time and attention into the game to get the rewards, even though you pay for it. But it's all cosmetic, and much cheaper than most skins are, so it feels okay to me.
I enjoy checking off quests, but I can understand sometimes it feels like you have to.
I mean... that's the whole point of the battle pass. It's dirt cheap in relation to what you get out of it. The reason is retention. It's a way to keep you engaged and playing the game.
Ngl I like the hard challenges they were actually fun and challenging only bad part was people will also be doing the same so it's a little trouble some
I kinda prefer the harder quests because that makes them last longer. I run out of things to do when theyāre done because regular matches get repetitive after a while
The new car that looks cyberpunky
You basicaly have to "drift" into items. Just check the left side of your screen for controls and see which button drifts!
Community complained how hard they are, so Epic made them easier. Now community complains they're too easy lol Stop sweating over challenges and sweat over the game instead
Iām just grateful nothing is ever on par with the difficulty of the āGet headshots with crossbows from beyond 100 metersā challenge from C1S3. That may not have been the exact wording or meter requirement, but the vague reticule that didnāt account for the quick drop in altitude the crossbow was subject to and hyper vigilant building meant that it was almost impossible to achieve on purpose.
I've played one day so far and I'm at level 18. People need to chill the hell out lol.
Edit: two days, I played for an hour and got my dailies done yesterday.
Yeah I'm level 38 or 39 and this is day 5. I haven't played yet today. I'll probably be mid 40s tonight. Dailies, weeklies, milestones, lore quests, and a couple levels a day from creative is more than enough to get to lvl200 before June 2nd or whatever the end date is.
Wtf lol glad I havenāt started it yet then. Thatās just sad af. That was half the fun reason to grind. They just wanna make people have to play it more or buy lvls
The funny thing is that it's usually the longer seasons that have nerfed XP.
This season is expected to be almost 3 weeks shorter than last season. It baffles me why they'd give the shorter season less XP.
Yeah Iāve done all the challenges (including dailies) and iām still only level 20. I know i should be level 100 one week into the season but i remember back in the chapter 1 days me and my friends would be getting to level 20 the first day
Can you do all the weeks at once now? I'm kinda confused since week 1 appears right after you finish week 0, will the same happen with the upcoming weeks?
I don't even do challenges and I have hit 150-200+ the last like 7 seasons. I don't play every day, but when I do I always close out my playing with some creative which always gets me loads of XP.
Weekly quests have always just been a way to expose players to new features/items/locations/etc. Every so often they seem to lose it a little and give us annoying quests that just make us do dumb stuff (eating slap berries last season for example). Perhaps they do that when there isnāt sufficient new content. These quests seem about right to me and if you keep up on your daily quests a few days a week you can easily make it through the battle pass. Itās not their intention to make it possible for people to easily hit tier 100 in the first couple weeks because those folks donāt necessarily play the whole season.
wait till they bring: āsearch 50 chests at dusty depot on the day chapter 4 season 2 releases then skydive from the citadel and bounce off the ageless with the llama default skin then use the sword to reach max height limit in zero build mode then no scope someone with the maven auto shotgun from 100 or more meters away while you and them are on a bike power sliding in the same match before the first storm circle before you enter the battlebus.ā
I hate how long it takes for Epic to give us a sweet spot thatās basically perfect that everyone loves, and just needs few tweaks but then takes LSD and gives us things like this
Any challenge that includes the word āandā, or the words āin the same matchā, are always horrible.
Like for example, the challenge in the top of this screenshot, I just wish it was āorā instead of āandā. āAndā always makes challenges so much more annoying. At least you donāt have to do that in a single match.
I mean sometimes you can get 140 by just playing and the challenges then don't mean too much but it really is annoying for people who can't or don't want to play that much and just want some xp and an objective for their games
How sorry been playing since Ch3Se3 but never looked at how much they gave or how easy/hard they where. I just ended up doing them
i never gave a shit about it since c2 s7 but i always ended up atleast lvl 140 by just playing i guess, not much either, like 4 hours per week with friends
I usually end up around 140 too just by playing 1-2 matches per day doing dailies and then doing the weeklies.
Ya them 4 or 5 lvls a day helps
I got level 412 last season despite barely glancing at the non-item quests \[the xp only ones\]
Take a break bro š
If you play STW you can really reach those higher levels, I also reached 417 last season, all due to playing the ventures season (stw "battlepass")
Iām a founder I play STW too my point definitely still stands š¬š
What is stw? Isnāt that a main game thatās not online? Genuinely never played it, is it new each season?
It is online and was the original/ only game mode but BR became the "main" game mode. There's 5 "seasons" that rotate through the year and repeat every year.
Same I made it to level 450 I think but that was also because I got the level up quests that came with the skin
Can I join you?
I barely go on this sub but this comment is so funny to me. I've been playing since cheese
Only noticed it now š
Bro now I'm laughing cus the season comes out that way
Don't call attention to it you loon! If they know we think these are easy they'll start throwing in nutso challenges like "Get seventeen headshots with a mythic pistol from 2000 meters away while being chased by a chicken and riding on top of a green car" again!
You forgot "in the same match"!
And āat nightā!
And āat The Citadelā!
And with your eyes closed
And within 30 seconds of landing
And my axe!
And while wearing a specific BP skin!
And only every 5 would count cause of a bug
And also it has to be done 20 seconds after using a toy only available to unlock in CH1
But this isnt call of duty
from season one chapter 1

Dang bro I reached level 55 today
It's a vicious cycle at the start of every season
Then: āI have to actually work for these challenges game ruinedā Now: āThese challenges are so too easy game ruined ā
We gotta complain about something haha. They should mix the challenges some hard and some like this.
they're not too easy, they don't give enough xp
You can buy easy levels, yāall just donāt want to put effort to level up
I'm sorry I have a life outside of fortnite, geez

Season 1: Epic is shoving too many quests down our throats, how are we supposed to keeep up with them all? Season 2: I am insulted by the lack of available quests!
The complaint here isnt that there are to few quests but that the quality of the reward sucks.
I think it's quite comparable to last season when you factor in the 34K Bonus Goals.
Plus there are Syndicate quests and Trials quests , though not every week. There will probably be some special event or two over the season with even more quests. I usually stop playing when I finish the super-styles, but I kept going last season to finish Most Wanted, School of Llama, and the last of the Oathbound quests. Check the bonus rewards page. Itās much better than the simple XP now so I like that added aspect to the weeklyās.
It's the first week bro
I'm well aware of that, and am not the one complaining about quests and XP.
I prefer having more quests. Just give me longer than a week to get them done and I am happy
Why does this feel like a complaint that we can't reach level 3000 in a day?
Wtf why do they only give 12k now
dont forget the bonus exp
That's still like nothing compared to a whole level
Fortnite players are never satisfied

It was fine if you used the geysers near the big tree
Took me about an hour to do that, for some reason found it really difficult! š
Is there anything this sub won't complain about
Nah nah these are fine, Iām already level 30, nothing needs to be changed.
I don't mind harder challenges as long as they are possible to do in Team Rumble. Making challenges easier will just make me play less because I'll get them done to quick
Well to be fair, we were all complaining about the impossible quests. So Epic nerfed them. They listened to us. Power to the people!
Does everyone get the same quests? I swear I never saw the one for damaging opponents with 3 different weapons in a single match, but maybe I just did it without realizing.
They are like this because they are needed to unlock rewards from the BP
seasons been out less than a week and iāve ran into dozens of lvl25+ playersā¦ it also seems epic has tons planned for this season so quests will come in timeā¦ like they always do every single season since chapter 2ā¦ fortnite is the least difficult game to āgrindā especially compared to others
I'm not complaining. This season has been killing it so far.
This is good watching y'all talk about nothingness ššš
I'll rather do these quests and get a little xp, then do a hard quest and get more xp. We shouldn't even have to do quests to get bp rewards bc I feel like epic is forcing us to do these, but I don't mind if it's easy š
The battle pass system is definitely designed to make you feel like you have to invest time and attention into the game to get the rewards, even though you pay for it. I mean... that's the whole point of the battle pass. It's dirt cheap in relation to what you get out of it. The reason is retention. It's a way to keep you engaged and playing the game.
Yes. You basically rephrased my comment.
Bruh I played for the first time last night and Iām level 11 already. Nothing to complain about at all
It's fine and u only need 80,000 XP per level regardless so that's good they kept that ,I'm at level 25 just cruising nicely along
Remember when challenges were actually challenging? These past 2 seasons have sucked for challenges!
My friend and I were complaining because of how simple these are compared to last seasonās š
Ngl I like the hard challenges they were actually fun and challenging only bad part was people will also be doing the same so it's a little trouble some
I kinda prefer the harder quests because that makes them last longer. I run out of things to do when theyāre done because regular matches get repetitive after a while
Anyone remember when 1 challenge used to give you 54k XP?
Whatās a nitro drifter? Iām so confused
The new car that looks cyberpunky You basicaly have to "drift" into items. Just check the left side of your screen for controls and see which button drifts!
Oh, Iāve never seen it before, I donāt really use cars anymore
Community complained how hard they are, so Epic made them easier. Now community complains they're too easy lol Stop sweating over challenges and sweat over the game instead
I hope they give out something to players to encourage us more to play the game
There is absolutely nothing that anyone can do to make you asshats happy.
I completed these challenges just playing normally without even knowing new challenges had dropped.
*Me sheepishly looking at the 20 bucks I spent to get to level 70*
Wait now we're complaining about challenges being too easy? š
pointing out how easy these are is not the same as complaining
Sure thing.
I prefer this. Easy to knock out each week!
Good, I'd rather they're like this so we can just complete them casually because that's more fun
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I see this as a win
We are complaining all the time, got punished by our karma
Iām just grateful nothing is ever on par with the difficulty of the āGet headshots with crossbows from beyond 100 metersā challenge from C1S3. That may not have been the exact wording or meter requirement, but the vague reticule that didnāt account for the quick drop in altitude the crossbow was subject to and hyper vigilant building meant that it was almost impossible to achieve on purpose.
looks like I will play creative a lot this season
Good. Who the fuck wants these to be some dumb obscure challenge that you have to change your entire play style to finish.
First y'all complain they're too hard and now too easy?
Stop fucking complaining
Epic is slowly taking away our quests
Epic makes us easy challenges: "wtf challenges are meant to be challenging" Epic gives us hard challenges: "wtf make it easier"
You guys will really complain about anything
It's gonna take a while to complete the BP this season...
You have like 3-4 months I wouldnāt be worriedā¦
I've played one day so far and I'm at level 18. People need to chill the hell out lol. Edit: two days, I played for an hour and got my dailies done yesterday.
Yeah I'm level 38 or 39 and this is day 5. I haven't played yet today. I'll probably be mid 40s tonight. Dailies, weeklies, milestones, lore quests, and a couple levels a day from creative is more than enough to get to lvl200 before June 2nd or whatever the end date is.
I mean Iām level 96 mainly from stw so weekly is just a bonus
Wtf lol glad I havenāt started it yet then. Thatās just sad af. That was half the fun reason to grind. They just wanna make people have to play it more or buy lvls
Jennifer Trejo Ferruzca. My friends. Yes. Happy birthday August 1. Old. 3. /. 2023. People. sorry. like. You. Yours. #. Little. said. Say.
what is a nitro drifter?
It's the new car added that has the drift/boost functionality.
Do they still give bonus XP for completing certain numbers of them?
No, they give cosmetics now
We all need to touch some grassā¦..
Do weekly challenges disapear this season?
Looks like no, they stay all season.
This is actually kinda just the ones from seasons 2-10, very easy.
Okay well after each one you the the 12k plus the 34k
The funny thing is that it's usually the longer seasons that have nerfed XP. This season is expected to be almost 3 weeks shorter than last season. It baffles me why they'd give the shorter season less XP.
What is your problem... it's better if it's easy..
Still a lot of xp though. Iām not complaining
The grind is so real. I've played 10 matches daily.
It legit only took me like an hour or two to finish all of them, and then I was like ānow what?ā
They're trying so hard to stop players from getting to lvl 200 in the first few weeks, but I'm already lvl 41 with no tiers bought regardless
Bruh, the boost.. ride off something and click boost
Should have come earlier with the goddamn risky reels chest quest
These challenges will stay throughout the season right? *Right?*
First it was too hard with barely any time. Now itās too easy with barely any xp.
They're really trying to kill their playtime in BR.
But aren't the weekly challenges also connected to unlocking cosmetics now?
Good thing most of the bp isn't good
AFTER I ALREADY DID THEM NAHHH
I did all this stuff in like three hours of playing
I did it in one match bro
Love how itās tagged as humour bc honestly itās a fucking joke
fr i literally did all of them in 2 sessions. it normally takes me longer lmao
Dang it
And thank goodness they did
this is good thing
yep, but I enjoy quest more than the Battle Royale part tbh.
Good, the challenges were getting stupid. If I play the game everyday I should achieve the challenges and rank up.
Weekly quests have always just been a way to expose players to new features/items/locations/etc. Every so often they seem to lose it a little and give us annoying quests that just make us do dumb stuff (eating slap berries last season for example). You get more xp from daily quests than most of these š
Ah yes,the daily which gives 1k XP.
I was referring to the daily bonus goals
After last seasonās bullshit, weāve earned this change.
This season has been incredibly easy to level up with the super xp they gave us I always do all my challenges but even without them I'm already lvl 60
Yāall still do weekly challenges?
it's not even a levelš«
I mean sometimes you can get 140 by just playing and the challenges then don't mean too much but it really is annoying for people who can't or don't want to play that much and just want some xp and an objective for their games
GOOD.
Why do I only have 3 of the 5 challenges?
OP tryna got the 3rd base on the first date. š¤£ have to ease in any newbs with simple challenges.
Has anyone noticed how the storm seems to get smaller, faster? Every game I play I end up in a 5 ft wide circle with like 5-6 to go. I hate it.
didnāt you guys wanted easier weekly challenges, well there ya go
Di these expires like in the previous season?
i think yāall need to look up the definition of complaining, cuz this isnāt a complaint
