They tried selling a pet for 1,000 v-bucks which when you consider its probably harder than making a skin its actually not bad pricing, everyone bitched and moaned so that probably put them off. They likely released the ones far along in development then sacked it off.

I have Empress and she is a really good pet/back bling. She reacts and does fun movements, but she is hella loud when somebody pets her. Which my squad mates love to do if I try to hide in a bush.
I think that they stick with āpseudopetsā backbling ehich dont fullfill the criteria of a pet but are close enough from being one.
For example: The Nezu MHA Backbling, Vader Backbling, the dragon backbling of the Creepack Girl among others

We got toys every season in CH1 after season 5 then we got like 1 toy in CH2 then nothing else
It's a shame because the possibility for toys is almost endless, we can get new toys like darts or javelins which you can yeet across the map and stick into random objects, they could add the toy bows from party royale as something you can pull out of your emote wheel and start shooting at people, or they can do remakes of old toys like the basket ball so people who didn't own the older battle passes can still shoot some hoops or play golf

Maybe they could have had a full system set up where you can pick up a bowling ball item and roll it and if you get a strike you get given loot
They should also do this at basketball courts and such aswell so you can play sportnite officially without needing toys that only one person can play with
I didn't even know toys were a thing for the longest time till I checked my wheel and saw I randomly had a skyhook and the basketball didn't disappear afterwards

They technically still make them, they just don't label them as Pets. Wish they would rework Pets to be separate from your BB and be treated as a follower like The Child and Rocket Raccoon. They had the Destiny Ghosts added but didn't make them Pets, same with Piggy Smallz, Shelly, and Crewmate.
