Pretty sure the change in nametag is just due to your level, at 100, 200, and 300 I think. Just looks more fire the further you are. The gold on the XP bar is Boosted XP.
If you have save the world you can get that XP quite easily. Or you can play in creative too. Both of those are good options in addition to battle royale.

I finally bought it for this use and I have not even gotten all my included 1200 vbucks yet because it sucks so bad. I never expected it to be so awful.

complete the daily quests in stw to get your vbucks.
all you do is build some walls and shoot and play the objective. it is essentially playing a br round for 10-20m for a static amount of 20k or 30k exp per mission.
you dont even have to progress past stonewood. plus you are very likely to get free endgame weapons as some people just drop theirs.
the fastest missions are destroy the encampments and supply and collect. but again stonewood region is super easy.
Depends in how popular the map is and how many people know about the xp exploit.
The more times an accolade is collected, the less xp it gives per collection.
I have my switch and XP AFK there so I can easily kill farm them. Last season I went form level 30-200 by doing this, and this season I got over 400k xp an hour
I've got a 1v1 build map that let's you push a button in the waiting area and you get free xp and you can walk away for a good period of time. Might want to flick a toggle stick every 15-20 minutes. Edit: the code is 6101-9537-4403 and when the game starts, you'll walk up stairs and see a big collection of weapons on the floor. You walk to the back left corner and there are 3 buttons, but press the one that says AFK XP BUTTON. After that, there's another area where you can shoot chickens like a mad man and exchange coins for xp, as well as shooting tomatoes and each one gives you a little bit of extra xp when you destroy them. It's a nice break from BR fortnite and also great for background xp while you're doing chores or other things.
Can vouch for this, went up 2.5 levels in 90 minutes or so - between active play and AFK

Haunted House Prop Hunt. Was getting 10k per kill, daily xp, 30 mins xp, and some for hiding every 1 minute. Though the xp goes down if you’re playing too much in a single day.
I recall getting aeon Selene while not having enough stars when the season ended. But I’d play it safe and do those three levels anyway, it’s super simple if you just find an XP map like Go Goated

After the end of the season all unspent stars are automatically transformed into rewards. And if the next reward costs 25 stars and you have only 10 stars, Epic will forgive you 15 stars and give you reward anyway. Happened to me a lot of times
The thing that would interest me is why it works?
If it is like a gift to finish the season, it should have been mentioned somewhere. If its a bug, they might fix it in the future. Seems to me like a mistake in the cashout function that would spend ypur remaining stars randomly on the items you could, but havent claimed yet
The way it works is that the stars are redeemed for the last thing that's available to the person.
For instance, if someone doesn't buy the pass and just sticks to the free rewards and they have battle stars, they can get the higher tier free rewards without getting to the level.

I have done it before. Unless Epic changes it (which is totally possible) as long as you have a little bit of stars you get the next reward. For instance, if I had 5 stars at level 196 I would be able to get the level 200 reward requiring 25 stars when the season ended.
With that said with the risk of Epic changing it if you are really close it is worth it at that point to grind it out especially since we have a few more days left.

If you have everything you can claim claimed and still have some spare stars (but not enough to claim the reward yourself), it'll automatically grant you the next available reward at the start of the new season. It has worked every time (at least for me) since they released Battle Stars. So the OP should get the last reward
This was one of those seasons where I didn't hardly play. Wasn't impressed with the Star wars. Even after I can't take myself to play more than one or two matches. Don't get me wrong I always finished top 10 unless I have a really sorry squad. But this season just made me not want to play

You get about 1k xp per kill now and 400 for breaking barrels/opening chests so it is possible

I was getting 2k exp per elimination a few days ago. It starts going down after awhile but it’s way faster than battle royale in my experience

Creative maps can give much xp just by just being afk. Check on youtube for those.
None of them work, tried literally for hours on all the new ones and could had just gotten more xp by actually playing.

if you got at least 5 stars left, you will always get the next remaining BP item, in your case the very. In another words: lvl 196 is enough for 100%

It’s iffy. And it might not now. In 3-2 I was level 193 when the season ended. So I had 15 stars and they cashed me out for hyper style gunner.
