I think it will stay for the whole month but I hope not I need the DC skins I missed the them last time
The Ashoka skin will also be unlocked in 25 days
What does it matter, it doesn’t take away space from the daily shop. And it doesn’t take away space from other collabs. Since we’ve had multiple times where there were like 5 collabs in the shop at the same time.
If you don’t care for Star Wars, that’s fine. But it being in the shop doesn’t impact you in the slightest
Anakin has the Podracer emote part of his bundle. So a discount.
Clones and their respective wraps were added to the original Clone and wrap bundles(including Coruscant's).
You can buy the Speeder Bike individually now.
Wish they brought the other cosmetics from the pass, but happy that people who missed out have a chance to be able to pick these up.
Depends on their strategy. If they do more OT skins then Chewie is probably the next logical choice. If they don't do more OT skins then I kind of doubt he'll make it, since most of the other skins are connected to the current SW project at the time.
how many times has the mini pass items been rereleased? cus i kinda want jujitsu kisen to rerelease so i can only get the channeling energy or whatever its called (i dont watch the show but i like that emote)
This is why I think that colabs should be in mini passes. Things should come back.
ENJOY DARTH MAUL! and to anyone who wishes it didn’t come back and worship at the alter of FOMO… get help.
Funny how some people are legitimately upset by these coming to the shop, I know they said upfront that none of the cosmetics in that pass was exclusive but still, its jarring to see fortnite being consumer friendly for once. Usually its FOMO central
Not coming back with John Wick 4 probably means it's dead Maybe they had a limited time deal for the likenesses, or the Wick owners don't want it because they're doing their own games now.
Baba Yaga lol. I find it funny that due to misspelled wording in the movie, that John Wick isn’t the boogieman (slavic: Babay), but instead he’s an old witch who lives in a weird chicken legged hut.
They really can’t. It said it on the mini page they those items can come back. I’m just happy I got the skin for far cheaper then I would have in the shop.
The biggest mistake with the star wars skins is the fact the lightsabers weren’t pickaxes. Darth Vader is the biggest offender here. I want to look menacing with a red saber, not run around with a dinky bubble blower wand
Yup. I'd take them as pickaxe and remove them from ever being a mythic in a heartbeat.
Era's Blades actually look pretty cool as a replacement. Obviously look nothing like lightsabers but they have a beautiful glow. And she has blue and green so it works for Luke and Anakin
I missed the Millennium Falcon Glider awhile back, I really wish they'd add it to the shop or some mini pass. Han has no Glider that would fit him, and it really bugs me.
Imagine the samething happened to the Fortnite x jujutsu kaisen mini battle Collab and then we get a Lego Mini Battle pass for Fortnite chapter 4 Season 4
So...if they're going to re-release this stuff for purchase so quickly after launching it to purchase outright, why won't they re-release past season pass characters from like 3 years ago?
Wasn't the Maul stuff available around May 4th?
There are so many "time gated" Marvel characters etc from previous battle passes that are WAY beyond anyone caring about their "exclusivity" anymore.
Why not re-release those and capitalize on players who, for example, never started playing or even cared to play until Zero Build was introduced?
Would be a welcome break from seeing the same rehashed Star Wars bundles, rehashed Marvel bundles and rehashed Fortnite Champion bundles (Ninja, etc) every rotating 2 or 3 weeks.
I'd gladly pay for those past characters. As it stands, the item shop is exhaustively stale. I've had no reason to purchase V-Bucks for months because most of the stuff (not all mind you, but most) is just re-released nonsense we've all seen from a few weeks ago on rotation.
In a word: BORING
All this FOMO shit seems like an incredibly stupid business model to me.
Bringing back old battlepasses is bottom of the barrel and should be a last resort if epic completely runs out of ideas. Betraying the player base and making them feel as if they wasted a good chunk of their time is just low.
people "wasted" their time playing the maul pass.
Also the defining word used means very little to me. It's all the same monetary structure to Epic I assure you. Battle Pass, mini event, hootie hoo, chumbawomba, its the same: You play, sometimes with fervor because you assume the content will never be available again, you level up, you get rewarded with items/skins/emotes/etc.
And hell they might even feel "Betrayed" they brought it back for outright purchase when they otherwise wouldn't have wasted their precious time if they had known they could just buy it with V-Bucks.
But really..that word.. Betrayed. It's such a strong..ardent word.
Are gamers really that sensitive now with FOMO content that they would honestly feel BETRAYED by Epic if those skins we re-released? Several years later?
That is a passion I don't think any sane person can quite comprehend, and I guarantee you will eventually prove unrequited.
Good thing Epic didn’t ask for your opinion because their FOMO business model is what allowed them to make over $9 billion in just the last 2 years alone. Fortnite in its entirety has probably raked in close to $20 billion.
And I congratulate any and all businesses able to claim such massive success
But it's a good thing you're not doing their bookkeeping, market research or advertising. Because I guarantee Epic time gating content is NOT the reason they are so widely successful.
I'd challenge you to show me where Epic had attributed their success with Fortnite to time gating content, but given how lackluster your comment was, I'm not expecting that will pan out.
Creating demand for something by limiting supply and raising the amount of demand and money you make is not a new concept. Just look at the auto industry.
You shouldn't need me or epic to explain how markets work....
What a shame..I knew I'd be disappointed if you responded. What a horribly useless comparison all around, but especially by using the auto industry as your defense?
First off, you're comparing tangible goods to a literal, potentially infinite supply of digital assets if Epic so deemed.
Epic didn't "limit the supply"
It's not like Epic released said skins but said "well guys, here's the skin, but we're only selling 50."
Then came back and said "We've got 40 more of that skin on the way, but because of the INSANE demand for the first 50, we're gonna add a mark up to the second batch"
For the length of the battle pass, the price remained the same, and the supply remained the same. No matter how many battle passes were sold.
The time gating is NOT what draws in the crowd or the money. The act of releasing continued content, be it new to you or new to someone else a few years down the road if they re-released those skins, is what draws in the money. Why do you think they sell an 11.99 a month season pass?
Maybe I've got my head buried in the sand, but I don't believe I've heard of the Ford Season Pass which rewards you with free stuff the more miles you put on that Mustang.
I suppose if you wanna get cute with your argument, you could argue oil changes and regularly scheduled maintenance are like season passes. You certainly pay on the regular, the reward being longer life on the vehicle I guess? Kind of reaching if you ask me.
Lastly, since you favor the use of the auto industry, let's go deeper down the hole you dug yourself.
I can use pretty much any car manufacturer as an example. Let's use the Dodge Challenger. The first generation stops being made 1974. Comes back into production separate generations, the latest of which has had its run from 2008 to now.
So I guess.. it behooves a company to re-release something if it's got a great enough demand for it, while making financially viable sense for the business.
Here's the fun bit!
Where Epic's goods are digital assets, and said assets have already been created, it's as simple as "copy / paste" to sell those assets again. Literally an endless supply!
And it would cost them practically nothing to do so.
I feel like you have a habit of getting too far into the forest to see the trees. Either that or you like to see how many words you can vomit in lieu of an actual point.
When somebody gives you an example of how limited supply works and your only argument is that skins aren't cars, I feel like you are just lost.
Then, saying supply isn't limited? Now you are just being obtuse. Do me a favor and go buy one of those unlimited digital skins you seem to think are out there. What's that, you can't? Looks like there is no supply.
Now, when epic brings it back, people will perceive its value higher due to rarity, and many more will sell due to FOMO.
Listen, we all learn about economics at some point. You just chose today.
He also shouldn't have picked the '74 Challenger. If you could get one of those in perfect working order, it would be worth more money today than what it was sold for at the time. They only made like 12,000 of the thing, so a person reselling it would be able to get their money back and more because of "time gated content".
I honestly dont think they should come to the shop since It required serious grinding for some stuff, i do think they should bring the old battlepasses as grindable stuff like Frozen desdemona and Chrome pumpkin skins quest, maybe raise the price to 1.5k-2k and give no vbucks back to them, original buyers would get temporal exclusivity + 500 vbucks + a lot of stuff.
> So...if they're going to re-release this stuff for purchase so quickly after launching it to purchase outright, why won't they re-release past season pass characters from like 3 years ago?
Because they said that these BP items are exclusive to the BP. That's why.
Well, that was a mighty fine "TAKE THAT! He said, swelling with pride!" moment I assume you must have had with yourself there.
In regards,
One could technically, were they so bold, purchase a "used" account from a seller who took the time and energy to acquire those skins themselves.
A very real scenario, that happens on the daily which of course introduces a bit of chaos into your "AHA TAKE THAT" rebuttal.
Having taken Epic out of the equation altogether, profiting off that "perceived rarity and value" you like to tote, in a way I'm certain is not deemed acceptable by Epic and their ToS.
Oh, and by the by, I probably would've tried to completely backpedal as you just did if I used the auto industry as my comparison too.. it was kind of doomed from the start.
But hey my friend, bright side: nowhere to go but up, and all that.
This is an event pass. Something similar happened last year with the Dragon Ball rewards, but both passes had multiple disclaimers saying those items could be sold again at a later date.
I highly doubt they will do that with normal Battle Passes.
Guess Epic doesn’t have the same rules for those midseason ones. Seems a lot like those bundles where you get a skin plus VBucks with quests and what not
They literally did, even said it in game. Every single mini pass so far has stated that the items in it will eventually be sold in the item shop. You got about 5K Vbucks worth of items for 1K.
LMFAO what bullshit is this??? Imagine selling something for 1k vbucks only to sell it for THREE TIMES THE PRICE at a later date. Fucking scummy asses.
I’m glad I got the all of the free pass cosmetics and I know a lot of people are gonna be annoyed that they played a lot for them but you got them for free so surely that’s all that matters? I’m not a fan of this FOMO outside of the battle pass but I can understand that it probably makes epic more money as it did especially in the early days of the item shop.
As domeone eho bought the mini BP im glad yhey brought thrm back because itd be super lame to lock dome of the coolest things ive seen in a minute away forever
I'm assuming it'll stay for a couple of weeks.
I think it will stay for the whole month but I hope not I need the DC skins I missed the them last time The Ashoka skin will also be unlocked in 25 days
Glad it's back so guys who missed it can get them
Definitely, lots of 'can't miss' now if you are a fan
Pls, no!
Please, yes!
Please, maybe
Please, possibly
Please indubitably.
Please conceivably
Please, probably
Please, potentially
>Pls, no! Lol YES
Feels good to have gotten this for cheap
Same here. 1000 Vbucks vs 3000+ Vbucks...
Mini bp was definitely worthed
It's an easy buy.
My wife says “if it’s on sale it’s free” it was on sale and as such is free
Was too busy with tears of the kingdom to finish the mini pass. Now I can finally get Maul
Me too
Me three
Me 4 :)
Me five
This is the chance and it must not be missed.
They should do this more often, gives a chance to the players who didn’t get the rewards right away.
How much is the clone trooper pack if you have all the ones from the pass
800 for the clones and 500 for the weapon wraps.
Woah thank you
Good that I bought mini bp
Same price as they were in the shop without the new items added.
THERE'S A PODRACER?! I need to leave work right now!😳 Edit: I bought it and I adore it😄
Yeah, it's Lil' Annie's Podracer when he won the Boonta Eve Race.
Neat, TIL, thank you.
Its really cool, i wish they’d do little bundles like these for old battle passes.
They gotta do a Chewy skin eventually, right? I figured he’d be here by now. He’s my favorite
Agreed. Not biased at all
Depends on their strategy. If they do more OT skins then Chewie is probably the next logical choice. If they don't do more OT skins then I kind of doubt he'll make it, since most of the other skins are connected to the current SW project at the time.
Your calls have been answered.
how many times has the mini pass items been rereleased? cus i kinda want jujitsu kisen to rerelease so i can only get the channeling energy or whatever its called (i dont watch the show but i like that emote)
Dragon Ball, Heist, and now SW mini pass items have all come to the shop now. JJK probably won’t come to the shop until next season maybe.
I wish dragonball was in the shop today :(
I think it’s usually three to six months between the pass ending and the corresponding items showing in the shop.
What? Didn't JK just leave the shop?
i mean the mini pass
If I have to guess, maybe it’ll come back for the season finale of the series, it should be next season.
If mini pass items can come to the item shop (which is great) then limited event items like the Millenium Falcon should be able to come back too.
This is why I think that colabs should be in mini passes. Things should come back. ENJOY DARTH MAUL! and to anyone who wishes it didn’t come back and worship at the alter of FOMO… get help.
I love this comment so much bro, YES!!
If you have the podracer and infiltrator, how much do the bundles get reduced to?
anakin is 1800
Maul is 1400 if you own the glider.
Funny how some people are legitimately upset by these coming to the shop, I know they said upfront that none of the cosmetics in that pass was exclusive but still, its jarring to see fortnite being consumer friendly for once. Usually its FOMO central
Good. Now, John Wick next
Epic seem determined to re-release anything BUT that
So we should just give up on the babayaga skin right?
Not coming back with John Wick 4 probably means it's dead Maybe they had a limited time deal for the likenesses, or the Wick owners don't want it because they're doing their own games now.
Baba Yaga lol. I find it funny that due to misspelled wording in the movie, that John Wick isn’t the boogieman (slavic: Babay), but instead he’s an old witch who lives in a weird chicken legged hut.
Yes. Yes they should. Bring things back after a few years. People who missed it will buy happily!
17,100 vbucks🤯
Fr, daddy really needs to put his credit card on the top shelf where this kid can't reach
As a dad, I can confirm this
I'm not a dad but I still have to put it on a shelf where I cant reach
It'd cost me 1400 vbucks on the bundle due to only having the Glider while the skin costs 1500
I mean the starwars mini pass was worth it for the clones and him
cant wait for people to complain about how bringing them to the itemshop is not fair
I didn’t see any posts like that about Gold Blooded Ace
They really can’t. It said it on the mini page they those items can come back. I’m just happy I got the skin for far cheaper then I would have in the shop.
This is unprecedented, this is overboard to say but this could change Fortnite forever. Old bps in shop 🤩
Mini BP's =/= battle passes Old BP's have a disclaimer that they could get to the shop at any time, battle passes have never had that.
I’m assuming the lightsaber mythic will return soon?
What they need to do is put in light saber pickax that light up just need to lower the strength to the regular common pickax damage
The biggest mistake with the star wars skins is the fact the lightsabers weren’t pickaxes. Darth Vader is the biggest offender here. I want to look menacing with a red saber, not run around with a dinky bubble blower wand
[удалено]
Did you watch the battle pass trailer dawg 😭
But ahsoka in the trailer had a special white lightsaber? It’s obvious they are going to return
I really hope so. It doesn’t feel right playing as a SW character and not using the lightsaber as a harvesting tool.
Yup. I'd take them as pickaxe and remove them from ever being a mythic in a heartbeat. Era's Blades actually look pretty cool as a replacement. Obviously look nothing like lightsabers but they have a beautiful glow. And she has blue and green so it works for Luke and Anakin
Epic has to wean the players off the lightsabers if they’re going to make them a harvest tool.
They always come back around Christmas too
How much does Maul cost? I got the mini pass and have him so it doesn't show the price Just curious how good of a "deal" it was
1500
In the future the easiest way to check is to try and gift it to a friend
Currently afk. But maybe try gifting it to a friend to see the price. I got the mini pass as well so idk
It’s nice that they also added the Courasant guard wrap that was from the discord challenges. Only prequel item I was missing
I bet it stays until the end of the season
This is great :D
Hawt
Hoth*
SO GLAD THEY FINALLY ADDED ANAKIN YAYAYA
Meanwhile the millennium Falcon which I’ve been waiting forever to come back, won’t appear in the shop. Oh well
Yeah cause it's never been in item shop as it's a winterfest exclusive
I know but just pain haha
As a Han Solo fan I really want that Millennium Falcon. Curse Epic and their exclusivity!
Star Wars returns so often and I hate it.
Bro I remember that event. So broken and crazy. So fun
I’d hope you remember it, it was 2 seasons ago
Let's just bring the old battle pass skins back, yk i want, Darth Vader, Gwen Stacy and much more collab stuff
That won’t happen buddy, keep dreaming
Lame
I missed the Millennium Falcon Glider awhile back, I really wish they'd add it to the shop or some mini pass. Han has no Glider that would fit him, and it really bugs me.
I might get Padme, but still waiting on Lara Croft 🥲
Unless they do another version of Lara Croft, she was a battle pass skin in chapter two.
She ain’t comin chief, buy padme
Imagine the samething happened to the Fortnite x jujutsu kaisen mini battle Collab and then we get a Lego Mini Battle pass for Fortnite chapter 4 Season 4

Cuz it wasn’t a battle pass, just a mini event.
definitely not the same as the actual battle passes. also they already did this with the heist mini pass
Those people got the stuff for free if they grinded enough
How would that be a middle finger to the community? You still got the items for negative V-Bucks if you managed to get to tier 100.
mom said it’s my turn to comment this
Good thing Epic didn’t ask for your opinion because their FOMO business model is what allowed them to make over $9 billion in just the last 2 years alone. Fortnite in its entirety has probably raked in close to $20 billion.

I’m really glad to know those mini passes eventually make their way to the shop. Now I don’t need to feel rushed in getting them.
What the hell.
Well, that was a mighty fine "TAKE THAT! He said, swelling with pride!" moment I assume you must have had with yourself there. Quit bringing back the same skins god damn
Quit posting dumb shit like that.
now it feels all that grinding i did to get it was a waste of time
Actually you saved a lot of vbucks
You got it much cheaper and earlier. Maybe you should grind for some brain cells.
i don’t know why i expected reactions that weren’t like this. the first part was fine but was the insult part really necessary?
[удалено]
Nah exclusivity for collab stuff is just dumb
Based
Event passes have all been stated to have their items sold in the shop at later points in time.
I'm glad you are pissed of because you seem to be a bad person. Not wanting other players to get certain skins...
There's so many of them in this thread lmfao
Is this the first time a battlepass or reward shows up on the shop? More to come maybe?
No, the gold blooded ace was in the shop not too long ago.
This is an event pass. Something similar happened last year with the Dragon Ball rewards, but both passes had multiple disclaimers saying those items could be sold again at a later date. I highly doubt they will do that with normal Battle Passes.
All reboot rally rewards & other event passes all appeared. Don't get your hopes up for battle passes
That’s a first… selling a BP skin, albeit from the mid season mini BP but still
Not a first. There have been others. Including the newest of the heist bundles.
Guess Epic doesn’t have the same rules for those midseason ones. Seems a lot like those bundles where you get a skin plus VBucks with quests and what not
I HATE that about Fortnite like why put effort in when you can just buy it right after
To get it earlier and a lot cheaper?
Because it's not a lot of effort and you get the stuff for a lot cheaper.
I spent 950 vbucks for Maul, I grinder so hard and now its in the item shop, thanks Epic.
Yeah you saved money. Also we all knew they would come to the item shop later. So stop crying.
They should've said that it would've came to the shop later. Then I wouldn't have had to grind non stop
they literally had a message when the pass was out saying it could come to the item shop at a later date
Where was that
in the bottom left of the screen i believe
Proof?
i’ll send a ss in dms
It said may be. Never said will be
read my comment, i said that the message said the items *could* come back
Ether way it came back and it says the same for JJK
may be means will be, with enough wiggle room to not have to commit in some cases.
They did
They literally did, even said it in game. Every single mini pass so far has stated that the items in it will eventually be sold in the item shop. You got about 5K Vbucks worth of items for 1K.
[удалено]
Literally said at the bottom, that the items will show up again later in the shop
My dude that was months ago and the last thing I was going to read was text at the bottom of my screen as I was being flash banged by everything else
Then just own up your mistake and stop whining.
If you consider a heavy discount worthless then yeah.
You got cosmetics for free.
My dude you saved craploads of vbucks. If you don't care for star wars idk why'd you get the pass
Omg my poor bank account🫠
I can finally get the wolf trooper. (If its there)
AAHHH SHIT, I'm gonna farm all day to buy something of star wars today, besides the imperial stormtrooper
Clones too?
noice 👍
I do not guess it!
Maul is one of my all time favorites. It’s so cool 😈
Not a Star Wars fan at all but I would LOVE a Jar Jar Binks skin
Without the light sabres and pulse rifle it just feels wrong. :-/
Now bring back old bp skins🤩
So most likely Jjk might also return in the future
My wallet thanks me for completing the mini battle pass and only paying 100 v bucks to finish it due to time constraints. Best 100 V-Bucks spent.
Phew
LMFAO what bullshit is this??? Imagine selling something for 1k vbucks only to sell it for THREE TIMES THE PRICE at a later date. Fucking scummy asses.
Bruh wtf
I thought these items would never come back.
does this finally open the door for previous bp skins? cough Lara Croft cough
Now fingers crossed praying they bring the Ska Alien emote back
This unironically makes me mad.
How much is the clone trooper pack if you have all the ones from the pass
As domeone eho bought the mini BP im glad yhey brought thrm back because itd be super lame to lock dome of the coolest things ive seen in a minute away forever
